Dexter Olsen "Hey, pay attention!"" Good answer." Dexter leaned back a bit and rubbed his jaw, trying to remember why he got into teaching chemistry. " I think I started teaching because my father was a teacher. Chemistry was just something I liked and decided to stick with. Not as impressive as your reasons, I'm sure, but I'm not one to complicate things." He dropped his hands to his lap, laughing at himself. " You know, I don't think I even really liked teaching until I got divorced!" Speaking of the devil, his phone rang right then. He glanced to the screen, declining to answer and putting his phone back. " Still, though, I wish I was as passionate about this kind of thing as you. You really want to put your heart into this. That's noble of you." "I get paid to teach your stupid butt, not amuse you!"

Indie twirled her red hair around her finger. "Well I move unexpectedly so I didn't really have a wide choices of classes and I think chemistry is an unique subject so it was fine with me to have this class." She explained as she moved to the desk next to Akito. " Really Akito, I feel that same with notes and music. I think every notes just like a piece of a puzzle. But they don't fit perfectly and that's the unknown of music you know. Yet when people compose a beautiful music like "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. It all comes together and be a beautiful story that can last forever You know?"

He then turned back to face Dexter, and smiled at him as he told his story. Once the man said he was divorced though, he got a little upset on the inside. Guess he got his answer to a big question in his mind. He then jumped in his seat and looked down at his watch. "Sir... Class started about five minutes ago and it's still just the three of us in here." He was slightly worried about why no other student was in the room, but even more so about the class. Would it be cancelled? Would he not be able to keep talking with this captivating man? A whole new slew of questions popped up into his hea as he overthought this minor situation. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Dexter Olsen"Hey, pay attention!"Fortunately, Dexter was already on it. He walked outside the room to the crowd of students, clenching his fists and puffing out his chest. " Hey, you stupid brats!" he barked, booming voice quieting the hallway. " Get the hell to class before I write you all up!" The students grumbled and started towards their classrooms, about twenty or so piling into the chemistry classroom. He shut the door behind them, gesturing to the papers on the desks. " That's better. Now, I hate having to use my angry voice, so guess who doesn't have to take the quiz today?" He gestured to Indie and Akito. " You two, you were here on time, you both get an A. As for the rest of you, you have forty-five minutes. Scribble fast." Sitting on his desk, Dexter shook his head at his students, then gestured for Akito to come to the front of the classroom. He needed him to walk around and make sure no one was cheating. "I get paid to teach your stupid butt, not amuse you!"

He now saw why a lot of students feared him, but Akito was doing the opposite of that. And when he saw the other motion for him to come up, he did so with a smile. The walk on the way up there however was a little unnerving due to him hearing people whispering teacher's pet and some casual laughter. He was aready being mocked by these kids and it was just their first day. It however didn't deter him as he reached Dexter's side still with that smile on his face.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

He then wrapped an arm around Akito's shoulders and whistled for the class' attention. " Class, this is Akito Kuronoma. He's going to be the new CA, since he already outranks more than half of you, you underclassmen, you. Now then, when I'm not in the room, he's in charge. You don't listen to him, you answer to me." The class nodded begrudgingly, and Dexter released Akito with a grin. " Hope you don't let the power go to your head, kid." "I get paid to teach your stupid butt, not amuse you!"

If he wasn't in front of the classroom, he probably would have wrapped his arm around the other's waist. But he restrained himself, and instead gave a closed eye smile to the whole class. He was moving forward with his life thanks to this man, and he needed to find a way to thank him. "Don't worry about that sir. I'll help you whip these kids into shape." He too wanted to be taken seriously and wanted to try intimidating the students, just as the teacher did. So he stopped his smile and turned it into a grin that showed off his sharp fangs. That was one of the most prominent features of a werewolf, so he hoped that would instill a slight sense of fear into the students. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Dexter Olsen"Hey, pay attention!"Two-thirds of the kids jumped, the the last third wasn't paying attention. Dexter reached into his desk and pulled out a small box of chalk, taking out three pieces and handing the box to Akito. " Tell me when they're done with the quiz. I'm gonna get started writing out today's lesson." He saluted lazily, grinning his usual handsome grin, then started for the board and began writing out the periodic table. It was an easy task, something he'd had memorized for years, but his thoughts couldn't be taken off of his newest protégée. Akito was brilliant, sweet, funny, super cute- hey, stop that, Dexter! He's old enough to be Akito's father! God, what was going on with him? Maybe it was just because he was being treated so well for the first time since before the divorce. Yeah, that's why he was thinking this way. "I get paid to teach your stupid butt, not amuse you!"

This test shouldn't take even the dumbest all that long to complete, so he just casually walked around the desk and sat in his teacher's chair. Hopefully this was alright, but it didn't matter because Akito didn't want to get up, due to the fact that this chair was engulfed in the man's smell. He felt weird about fawning over the scent, but his wolf side just couldn't help but be drawn to it. He found himself doing nothing but thinking about his teacher for the next half hour. In that time; 95% of the class had finished their exams. He then noticed the last two finished and snapped his fingers while giving yet another closed eye smile. A light puff of fire flew up with each snap, then vanished the second it appeared. That tended to happen every time he snapped his fingers, so he knew it wouldn't cause harm to anyone. "Sir, the entire class has finished. And it only took them about half an hour to do so."╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Dexter Olsen"Hey, pay attention!"Dexter had finally finished the table by the time the students finished. He turned and nodded, then gestured to the kids. " Alright, not bad. I expected worse time. Now can you get their papers?" As he waited for Akito to collect the papers, the teacher started talking to the students. " Alright, class. Today, I want each of you to copy this table into your notebooks. We'll be copying them every single day until the end of the year. You need to memorize each inch of this table." He grabbed a pink piece of chalk, circling the element Helium. " This week, I want you all to learn all that you can about Helium on your own. You will then write a short report on your findings and turn them in on Friday. Am I understood?" The students groaned their compliance, then began to copy the table. Dexter grinned at Akito, curiously leaning close. " So, how much time do we have left in the class?" he asked, not having memorized the schedule yet. "I get paid to teach your stupid butt, not amuse you!"

Once he had them all, he placed them on the teacher's desk and looked him in the eyes. "Sir there's about five minutes left of class. That leaves just enough time for them to write that chart down though, so they aren't off the hook." He chuckled as he kept eye contact with Dexter a second longer, then looked toward the students. He was happy that his dream of being a teacher was coming closer to fruition. Being here in the front of this class, just felt so right to him. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Dexter Olsen"Hey, pay attention!"The Louisiana native was a little taken aback by the direct, intense gaze he was given by the CA. It took a second for him to fully recover, but when he did, he offered a cheerful laugh and smile, rubbing the back of his neck. " Good! You're doing a great job, 'Kito!" He stopped himself, a nearly non-existent blush appearing on his cheeks. " Heh, sorry, I mean Akito. I have a bad habit if shortening people's names without permission." He checked his watch, then sat on his desk and shifted through the papers, disappointment registering on his face. " Looks like they weren't taught much. I've got my work cut out for me," he mumbled more to himself than anything. "I get paid to teach your stupid butt, not amuse you!"

When he saw the blush on Dexter's face afterwards, he was then captivated by that man even more so now than before. "Go ahead and call me that sir, it's cute." He then noticed that the class was leaving and this caused him to sadden inside. He didn't get to talk with this man until their next class. He wanted to spend more time with him, but alas he knew he didn't want to annoy him. "That was the bell. This was my last class of the day, but I should leave you be. Don't wanna bother you or anything." He bowed to his teacher and turned to walk toward his desk to grab his things.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Dexter Olsen"Hey, pay attention!"Holding back an embarrassed blush, Dexter furrowed his brow at the departing student, taking a few steps in his direction. " You know, if you want, you could stay and help in the other classes. They're not mine, I'm taking over for Mr. Brandt until he gets here, but it'll be awfully boring without a familiar face." He gestured to the door that led to the classroom next door. " Stay with me for a while, won't you?" Honestly, Dexter didn't know why he wanted the teen to stay with him, but pretending that he did and it was out of boredom made things much, much easier for him. "I get paid to teach your stupid butt, not amuse you!"

He smiled to himself as he bent down to grab his backpack; which he slung over his shoulder. He hen turned to walk back to where Dexter was. "Of course I'll stay with you sir. Couldn't think of a better way to spend my time than with y..." He stopped himself before he finished that sentence. Akito didn't want his newly formed crush becoming evident so easily. So he shook his head and cleared his throat. "After the last of these classes...wanna grab a bite to eat? If you're free that is." He made a bold move in asking his teacher out to eat. The way he worded it made it sound casual, but a big part was hoping it to be a date.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════╝
