Oh god. There was entirely too much to deal with, the loud noises from tearing the kitchen apart, and then the whole cavern thing, and now.. cookie monsters. Literal cookie monsters, not the fluffy blue kind with googly eyes. Reine avoided as many of them as she could, but there were just too many around.
Well, she already had Alynthe summoned, from the attempt at 'renovating' the kitchen- might as well make use of it.

Jerry was just looking for a reason to fire, his fingers itching-
Unfortunately, the moment the lights had been turned on, he gave a startled scream and fired wildly.... right before the chocolatey slime-monsters even made their appearance.
He wobbled, slightly dumbfounded for a moment before they DID creep up, leap out, and suddenly try to make a grab for him.

Candace winced at Jerry's angry snarls, reaching out to tug him close. She didn't give a s**t. She couldn't just stand aside while he was freaking out. Candace was beginning to move her arms around him in a hug, murmuring a gentle "Jerry, honey--" until suddenly there were lights and she stepped back to look around. What the..hell...
"..Is this the old kitchen?" Candace asked when she spotted the minipet cage and the egg beaters, clearly remembering those from that night. She frowned as she wandered away from Jerry and Sasha to nudge at one of the mounds.
Said mound turned a sad look up at Candace, opened up its mouth wide and tried to swallow her leg. She gave a very badass (read: it wasn't badass at all) shriek as she kicked the thing in the face and backed away, grabbing a nearby eggbeater. "What the hell!" She bat a few of the slime monsters away with the beater.

Unfortunately, it seemed the monsters found her more appetising than the reverse, really. They were just creeping up her boots, as if trying to chew on them. Grosssss. To think the cookies she'd baked with Julie that one time had turned out so well.. maybe practice made perfect. A lot of practice, too, judging from the sheer number of monsters around.

Really all he wanted to do was to go back to sleep and stop his wrist from throbbing, but since that option was currently unavailable, Gale was forced to face the obvious - fight the damn creatures.

And then Candace was all over him again that b***h that b***h acting like she hadn't been making a fool of him, hadn't been manipulating him, still trying to manipulate him acting like she loved him when he knew he KNEW she just wanted one thing and- Monsters leaped up behind them, making a lunge for him and Sasha, and he whirled Roar around with a scream of his own, ripping through the muddy creature before it could lay a hand on her. "Haha, woah! You okay, Gale?" Grinning, Eva reached out in an attempt to steady the boy, but withdrew her hand when she found that it wasn't necessary. Man, even with the weapons as light sources, it was still pretty dark down here!
Glancing over when she heard Wilson's voice, Eva frowned and shrugged. "I don't know where we are, Wilson, but I definitely hope that we get out--oh, the lights are on!" Her eyes widened in surprise as the lights were suddenly flicked on, but she certainly wasn't going to complain. It was nice being able to see, after all.
Though it felt a little...strange in here. Part of it probably had to do with the scent that lingered in the air--surprisingly enough, it wasn't an unpleasant scent at all. It smelled almost like...chocolate, maybe? But that made no sense! Why would there be--"What are those."
It was then that Eva spotted the strange, goopy things that surrounded them. When she realized that one of them was attempting to eat a trainee, she didn't hesitate in swinging Chara out at one of the sad-looking monsters standing beside her. Unfortunately, her swing was not very strong--Chara ended up sinking into the monster, and it took of bit of effort until Eva managed to yank her weapon out.
Ugh.

Hey! The light was on!...and Marcus's arm was looking pretty beat up. Cass almost immediately retracted her hands, a small frown on her face. "Oh god! Did I touch it? Are you alright, babe?" she looked entirely sympathetic, before she cast a small glance around the room.
"Oh for ******** sake." Cass swore as it seemed it was time to be mobbed by sentient chocolate. Sentient Chocolate. What was even....
She didn't question it for long before she got right down to slicing through things, making sure to not linger in one place too long. Kill all the things was the battle plan. Kill all the things.

There was a lot of grumbling and scowling from one Gale Gentry, very much lacking in the sleep department, as he pulled the rifle up to his shoulder, took aim, and fired off a few more shots.
The bullets weren't doing too well against the gooey, chocolatey...things...creatures, however. They hit with a muffled, squelching noise, and Gale pressed his hand to his forehead, pinching the bridge of his nose between two fingers.

MORE MONSTERS. More monsters also dying, not that it seemed to make much of a difference. For every one she killed, it seemed that more were popping up, and Reine was starting to get overwhelmed. Still she tried to push through, until she was close to Julie and the mysterious fridge at least.

It was a good thing that Jerry had warned her to pick up her weapon. She rose to her feet and just as she gripped Nona's handles... Julie said let there be light, and there was.
There were also monsters.
<Finally! Action! Come, use Nona.>
Wincing, Sasha took out one of the chocoslimes. Nona chirped happily.

The lights were on—that was a relief, although they definitely weren’t the brightest light to have, it was better than using the pale glows of various weapons to guide Wilson’s way. The faint smell of chocolate caught his interest and he even seemed hopeful that maybe there were sweets to munch on, but then he realized that any candy found here would be highly suspicious.
Yeah. His suspicions were confirmed when the mounds began to move toward the trainees. Sighing, he pulled down his mask with one hand while bashing at a couple others with his other arm.

Well, at least Eva had learned from her last mistake. This time, when one of the things slowly made its way towards her and reached out, she swung the bladed end of her staff as hard as she could. Not only did the blade tear through that single blob, but the girl ended up taking out seven others that had been standing right beside it.
...Thank god none of the other trainees had been within that group of monsters at that time. That...that would have been bad.
