Im going to cosplay as Misa From Death-Note at an Anime Convention comming up, its easy for me because I do look alot like her, and I am goth and I do own a Death_Note notebook so WHAA~~ wink peace of cake
(The only thing is, Misa is the only look-alike characte rI can be, I would be a female version of Cloud, but I dont have the equipment to build the sword and furthermore his clothing would be hard, Misa is the easiest character I can do, the only thing is I'll have to act 'Cute' which im not good at)

I have a friend who's doing L for Anime Evolution this year. ^_^ REALLY simple costume, but I think she'll enjoy it still. Hopefully Death Note is big enough at this point that most people will realize she's in costume.
