No my bad, I should've explained that better.
I personally think he shoud ask her because those two are perfect for each other not to mention the fact that although they are alinke in many ways, there are enough differences between them to keep things interesting between them.

Well then hopefully he does then. Me and Zane have a friend who's in a similar situation and we've been telling her to go for it but has been too afraid.

Well...tomorrow is the last Wednesday night before the alcohol ban for the exam period and I'm expecting some people to get VERY drunk. I think I'll join them for a glass of mead and then dissappear and share some with Odin, Loki and perhaps Thor (not Kemetic but Norse obviously - I've been very interested in the Norse pantheon lately).

No harm no fowl. I never said that you had to be strictly Kemetic to be in the guild.

I've been trying to figure out how exactly I'm going to try to offer something to Odin so I could try to start working on the rune workshop San has going. I feel kinda bad that there's only a few participating.

Hmm...well, if you can't get your hands on some mead then I've heard that offering part of a meal (especially meat) is just as good. Ask Sang, she'll know better than I.

My big issue is my house. My house is in no shape for me to try to do an offering. And I'd feel weird doing it elsewhere. So I'm trying to work up the balls to do it elsewhere.

Ah. Well that certainly puts a dampner on things. Out of curiousity why do you think your house is unfit for offerings? Do you live with other people?

Its not exactly because I live with other people but the fact that my mom's like a packrat and we have boxes upon boxes of crap that Mom won't get rid of. There's barely any room to do anything and when one spot gets cleaned it gets filled back up again with more stuff.

I found that through studying the runes with you guys I've found something I'd like to really look into. It's also cool because I have a European heritage and I feel like I'm rediscovering my roots. (Well I have an uncle in Germany who complied a massive family tree dating back a few centuries - but he's since become a hermit and I have no idea what he found).

Yami, I know how you feel, my mum's a bit like that too. Thankfully I do have my bedroom at home, my bedroom at uni and a small section of the garden to myself.

My bedroom's like a cave because of how much stuff is in it. There's literally stuff in boxes from before I was even in school. emotion_facepalm

Random bit on the heritage: Apparently me and my sister are 1/4 German and not 1/4 Hungarian like Mom kept telling us we were. She kept telling us that we had gotten Hungarian from both sides and that was it and that everything was in 1/8s. I didn't even know we were part German! All she ever told me was English, Hungarian, Czech, Russian, and I think another one but I'm blanking. Yeah I know that doesn't add up. I never got the whole list. I remembered the Hungarian because that was supposed to be the biggest chunk. I remembered the Czech because that's where our last name's from. The Russian was because I wanted to start learning it. And the English because apparently from my maternal grandfather's side (I'm forgetting how far back it went) we're b*****d children of the crown.

My bedroom isn't quite that bad even though it looks it. My bedroom is (apart the obvious one) the smallest room in the house.

Heritage wise, my grandparents are German/Polish on one side and German/Ukrainian on the other. I'm a second-generation Australian. ^^

That's actually kind of cool. How you're second-generation Australian. I find it very interesting. I start wondering why people would decide to move to a different country like that.

My grandad's father moved here, and met my grandad's mother already here.... and my grandad married an English woman and they raised their kids in England, so my dad didn't move here until he was a teenager. While on mum's side of the family, we can trace back to 1845, so I'm 6th gen but also 3rd gen and 1st gen razz But when it comes to Aus and NZ with England - don't know about Germany etc - there's a lot of back and forth. Lots and lots of English people have family here and plenty of Kiwis move over to the UK, at least for a few years. I like that. There are strong ties.

Yami, do you have space to go outside? Just sitting on the porch with a glass of something is do-able, and if it's a nice evening people aren't likely to question why you're lingering outside.

Ah well both sides of my family moved because the Second World War have made life unbearable. Most of my dad's family is still over in Germany, but all of mum's family (as far as I know at least) has moved down here. We're kinda spread all over Victoria.
