"Mmm. But what if we don't get along?" Ark asked. Realizing it was probably a poor time to be so negative, he tried to lighten the mood by adding, "Or, you know, you could be so overcome with lust for me, it'll make things awkward." Ark gave Nezumi what he hoped was a seductive grin.

Ark laughed. "Funny you say that, instead of denying such a thing could happen. Have any confessions you'd like to make?" he asked. He took a quick glance at his watch, making sure he still had a bit of time before he had to leave.
