Sammy shook, not from cold, but from anger when Barth snapped back at her. Slowly she got up from on her knees glaring towards the last place she recalled his hissing voice. "Demon I don't care who you're engaged too right now, I've been knocked around, blinded, vomited on by Joy, and you all think it's a good idea to fight. If you talk to me like that again I will make sure the first thing I see when I get this JOY crap out of my eye is my fist in your-"
She paused, something was nudging at her leg, instead of continuing her trend of threatening the sloth demons face and it's future well being, instead she started reaching down patting out the form of the invisible dog. "Eh?" She heard something thump in the snow and with a bit more flailing of her hand she found the rope.
"Siddie... can you tie this to one of the dogs?" It was interesting really, almost like Iris and Toby, except the part where Sammy wasn't blind, just infected with Rainbow-Vision.

"Not now - please?" Siddie pleaded, looking from Barth to Sammy and back. "If you want to fight later I promise I won't get in the way, but - if something comes and attacks again we shouldn't be distracted." She didn't like seeing people she cared about fighting, though she knew it might make them feel better; but if they fought right now it could be real trouble. She cast an angry glance over at Jericho and Riley, sitting quietly to the side and being no help at all. Or less than no help, possibly.
The nudge at her legs had her looking down. There was a hovering rope and four paw-shaped rainbows in the snow. Oh, an invisible dog - and it wanted her to ... tie a rope to it? Oh, of course. "It wants to help," she told Sammy, and knelt down in the snow, feeling for the invisible dog's neck and chest so she could tie a makeshift harness around it. "Good dog," she told it, and stroked its back before placing the rope in Sammy's hand. The drutten hiding in her hood peeked over her shoulder at the invisidog and chittered.

Barth patted the dogs that had curled up next to him absently, thorns creeping further up the sled. They entangled it until Christof found the slay lighter, and finally the entire thing flipped back over into the snow.
"Sorry, Siddie," Barth muttered, "Here- put Calder next to the dogs. It's...warmer here, any way. He was- cold earlier, I think. ...Would you all mind?" He asked the dogs, "Staying with him? Just be careful of his middle, that's still sore."

If Barth couldn't move him either...how were they going to...? The problem seemed to be solved as Christof was nominated Kelpie saviour and Barth became sled propper, which left Amrita to...Hm. Get out of the way? Yes, that seemed like the best option for her. Her exit from the sled put her (what she assumed to be) face to face with an invisible dog.
"Uhh..." She felt uncomfortable, like she was being stared at expectantly by invisible eyes, and it only got worse as she picked up the antlers. The antlers went on her head, only because she couldn't think of anything else to do with it; it seemed to work, as the discomfort of being stared at disappeared, as did the foot prints from Vlad.
Well, whatever. She was rainbow with reigndeer antlers now. Joy.
Shaking her head, she looked down at the puppies, over at Calder, and then shrugged out of her rainbow jacket, holding it out with cold-stiff rainbow hands. "Err, umm, wh-what about this? Think it would help?" And she didn't really need it, really. Without waiting for an answer she moved to the sleepy Kelpie, draping her jacket over him. That was when a particular word registered with her.
"...Engaged?" At least she knew what that meant! It was just...Engaged, while still in school? That was...Huh.

Vlad likes weddings. They feed him lots of food at weddings.
... He better get an invitation. To all the weddings.
He barked at Siddie's minipet before moving, tugging Sammy along, moving towards the school.
Barth would hear several excited barks from the invisible dogs as they moved to Calder, laying down around the boil as they were told; they might have thought that Barth was playing a game with them though.
[Calder healed for: +5HP
Mili/Prox: I'll make a Malcolm thread or something when I wake up. :'D For now just assume that he is leading them towards the school.]

"Err, yes," Barth said, slightly embarrassed. "Siddie and I."
He scratched what he assumed was one of the dog's shoulders.
"Good dogs. Very good. ...Not safe, is it? Hanging around the patch. It looks like this place has been through the wringer."

"It's a long story," Siddie said, patches of purple springing up on her cheeks. "Um. I think the dog wants us to go somewhere," she added brightly. "You guys will be okay, right? Um, we'll be back?" She latched onto Sammy's arm. Having nearly invisible eyes sometimes solved the problem of eye contact very neatly.
Chili chirped something inquiring at Vlad, that might have contained something like a question as to where they were going.

Sammy immediately looked away from Amrita when she asked about the engaged line. Siddie, Barth, and herself all seemed quiet keen on not going into details on what was happening between them, that train of conversation would die rather quickly like a Cannon Cat in Riley's bedroom.
She latched tight to the rope feeling a slight tug before nodding, "Alright, we follow the dog then." She let Siddie slip around her arm quiet tight as the dog gently tugged them away.

Calder shivered, but noticed the warmth and the familiarity of fur. He panicked for just a moment, but calmed when he felt a little tail wag. For once, he started to like dogs. Opening his eyes, he looked about. " Did Christof save me?" He asked softly. He still wondered why the patchwork threw the sled.

"Stay safe," Barth called after Siddie.
He examined Calder with concern as he stirred awake.
"Jericho put the fire out. Christof was...momentarily distracted. He must have forgotten you were under there," Barth said, looking back at Riley again in irritation.

Jericho stared at Christof as Riley spoke about the igor. Well, that was indeed a pretty good sign of jealousy there. Then again, he was always aware that the Igor was rather possessive of the Mindflayer. Though, he just didn't know the extent of it really.
However, at the mention of the pumpkins, his snout crinkled up and he shook his head a with a huff.

I don't.. know.. Her voice was halting, hesitant. I don't think so? He never seemed upset at Malodore. Her head turned up to Jericho, and her brow furrowed deep in worry. Both her hands reached up to pat under his muzzle. I am rather inept at social nuances, Jericho. I am unable to ascertain why Christof would act this way about us, but not..
Her face fell in dismay. Perhaps it is time I finally give up my claim on the igor. Calder has encouraged me to try and be his friend, and not his Mistress. It is unwise, in my opinion, but I will try anything, at this point. Better that, than.. whatever this is.
If Christof continued to withhold himself, she was sure he would soon turn violent on her, and she would be forced to put him down. She chuckled at the thought of how angry Barth would be, then.

While Riley patted him on the muzzle, Jericho nudged her lightly while thinking this all over.
For some reason, he had a slight feeling that was a fairly possible outcome. He noticed that Christof was generally quick to lay blame onto him.

The hunchback in question, meanwhile, remained oblivious he was being thought about. The Kelpie free of the sled, he brushed himself off, lost in his own thoughts for a good long while before finally glancing to Amrita again. His hands twisted in front of him, eyes darting just over her shoulder for a moment before settling back on her, and his fingers lifted to sign out, "Also-rainbow. Not-hurt-otherwise? Does-snow-clean-up?"
He wanted things to just go back to normal, such as it was. With no.... threats of the school closing. Or things leaping out to either kill them or paint them humiliating colors. And... and quiet. Just lock himself in the tomb and try to see what was still wrong with Chopper and ignore everything else.

Riley's expression turned slightly amused. My claim on everyone is important, Jericho. You know that. She scritched under his muzzle one last time, and then shifted slightly, pulling the covers around herself and dropping her head under his neck. You do understand what side you've chosen, don't you? Her head buried into the scales for comfort. Well, I had hoped Christof would be there, too. But perhaps that is not what he wants. I don't know if I truly care what he wants, but maybe I do. Maybe I will take the time to find out.
She shrugged, and pulled the covers over her face.
Everyone useful deserves a chance.
