Harrison laughed. "Nah, the dancing part. See? That's what snowmen do best." He looked at everyone dancing. Dancing better than him! Maybe he didn't have what it took. He'd have to break out some mad moves.

"...Do you know any mad moves?" he asked aloud.

Cass grinned. "Yes! Extra cake!" she beamed, holding onto Marcus's hand before stepping back towards the dessert table. She wanted...to eat... all of the things. All of them.

Right now. She wanted to eat them like she ate Marcus's face. Which was a lot. She eventually picked up a particularly delectable looking slice of...

"Oh my god, is that BTS cake?" she looked about ready to drool on herself from the thought, before she looked to Marcus. "Have you ever had BTS cake, Marcus?" She actually let go of his hand to get a forkful ready to shove at him, eyes wide and in awe.

Best. Cake. Ever.

Mallaidh “Molly” Finn had missed the snow sculpture contest pushing 3 things of furniture around a small room was really hard work okay, so when she had heard about this Gala she made a promise to attend! It’d be a wonderful chance to meet a lot more of her fellow peers, and it was to celebrate the season too, of course! How the young woman managed to get together an outfit was a Christmas miracle. Wtf this isn’t Saint Patrick’s Day She really liked the color green, and hey, it was Christmasy!

Regardless, by the time she managed to enter, things seemed to be well under way, and it was joyful seeing all the couples dancing! She also couldn’t help but marvel and oogle at the decorations and set up…and the…the atmosphere. So magical. As Molly stood there in the door way though, despite the cheerful and pleasant atmosphere, she was suddenly hit by the case of The Shy as well. So many faces she didn’t know. She handled meeting new people one on one rather well, but all these new people before her eyes well…it was a bit overwhelming…she’d just…go gather her nerves along the wall…possibly by the fruit punch bowl.

Yes, that seemed like a good idea. The young woman nervously smoothed out the front of her dress and inched her way towards the punch bowl, humming Santa Baby under her breath.

They had, quite literally, forgotten there was a party going on around them. They had additionally forgotten about any contest, or any dancing, or any music - when Robert blinked the haze out of his eyes from the heavy fog the moment had placed upon him, his mouth parted slightly in surprise.

"Ah, ********." He chuckled breathlessly, slipping his arm around Petra's waist and bending his knees. With one solid heave, he had the girl in the air, against his body, and several inches from the floor. He carried Petra off the dance floor, blushing in embarrassment.

"I uh.. I think we lost that." He couldn't stop giggling with every word, and his red-stained cheeks were pinched up helplessly in a goofy grin. He took her off the dance floor before anyone could ask them to move, and finally settled her back on her feet near the desserts table. He turned her to the table, and slid his hands around her, pressing her back against his chest. His head bent down, taking it's rightful spot in the crook of her neck, and he blew strands of her hair with his breath, so that they waved back and forth.

"Molly! Wow, you look just like a Christmas tree!" This was apparently the best and most sincere compliment Harrison could think to give.

"Good to meet you. Best time of the year to join Deus." He spotted the punch bowl, dancing momentarily forgotten. "...Either of you want punch?" The punch was very festively colored.

Once out on the dance floor, Tedan found himself glad that he'd actually been to a couple of more formal dances even after high school prom and all that. The college he had been attending held one or two every year and dates weren't all that hard to find. So once he and Reine were out on the dance floor, he took her into his arms and started to dance, moving with the music and even attempting to spin her around a time or two.

Jerry was feeling. Good. Better. Great. Positively SMASHING, really! FESTIVE. Maybe it was the Joy. Maybe it was the Vodka. Maybe it was Joyful Vodka. Maybe it was the joy at DRINKING the vodka. Maybe it was his mad attempts to shake the bristling embarrassment of his and Candace's misunderstanding. He wasn't even sure where she had gone... he had kind of.... left her on the dance floor but... but he just needed a few minutes to clear his head, she probably would understand. Definitely.

His cheeks were rosy, his smile returned, and he poured himself a fresh glass before spotting Robert and Petra crossing towards the buffet. WELL THEN! It was time for congratulations, wasn't it? Yes. Because that's what friends did.

"ROBERT!" He bellowed merrily, staggering only once as he made his way towards them, "Didja do it yet??" He hissed although it wasn't particularly whispery.
