Why do they want to join?: Kijivu is sick of the rogue life. While she ran away from her mother and father at a young age, convinced she could survive on her own. Now that she knows that she can, she's ready to settle down in a place she can call home, and possibly raise a family of her own one day.

Why do they want to join?: Maa-nefer was born a princess in the Dawnwalkers, but she wanted to live up to her namesake and see the rest of the world, so she left with her friends. In the end it was decided that they'd settle down in the place where some of them were originally born to find out what happened to some of their family. Maa-nefer wants to stay with them and would also feel drawn to a place where she's not considered royalty, can meet an entirely new pride, and a land covered in so much green, which is such a contrast to the land where she was raised.

Why do they want to join?: His reasons are similar to Matifu's and Maa-nefer's, wanting to see and experience the lands that his relative's called home and explore a new place and unfamiliar faces. Having been born and raised in the desert all his life he wants to try out someplace new and he sees it as a challenge to adapt to a new land with a different style of hunting.

Why do they want to join?: She and Maa-nefer have been joined at the hip since as long as she can remember, almost. The two are even more inseparable than the rest of the group. She likes the stories she's heard from Kinyago, Amavasi, and their mother/grandmother about the place and wants to see it for herself and make home there. She also has relatives in the land that she wishes to meet, and needs to tell of Matifu's (I) passing.
