Panther did get a smirking smile back; appreciative for the genuine smile he gave. She was a little surprised that her disguise had been that good though.
"And I'm not even wearin' my underwear on the outside..." She joked softly. Honestly, different hair and no glasses? She'd always made fun of that old cliché of a disguise before today... Well. It was a different outfit too, but still, wasn't that covered in it as well.
She didn't really pay much heed to the comment that it would just be Luxury's pride that was injured; even if it was a small fall, a bit of help could do wonders for allaying any concerns that might affect a team mate's mission performance- at least, that's what Tambrey's brain tried to tell her. She certainly wasn't just being /nice/, certainly not... Her brain did seem to lie to her a lot.

Luxury received a "Don't worry about it; th' floor's slippery, like P said." before Tambrey turned to receive the news.
The news that Galactic intended to... wipe the world like some planet-sized etch-a-sketch and redraw it in Deimos-doodle form...
What? Was that even... Well, people seemed to be taking it very seriously.
"Frak." She heard her own voice before she'd realised she'd said anything.
And promptly shut up.
So. They needed to stop it. This was something that she agreed with.
Taking a vehicle sounded good.
And she found herself just waiting to leave this room; quite impatiently now. The longer spent here, the more likely they might be caught. This wedged itself into her brain in some attempt at cushioning the somewhat traumatic 'Galactic can rewrite existence' thoughts.
Ah. And here were problems and suggestions to solve said problems all pouring out of people.
Well. She'd go along with whatever worked; she really didn't want things to get rewritten.

(backdated very slightly)

User Image The moment that the hacker had a boy (Nakura) clinging to him like some chick, 1337 threw up his arms, calling out "Dude, no homo!" If some chick wanted to do the exact same thing, the somewhat lanky man would have been more than willing to allow it. A dude doing this was not nearly as welcome.

Agent Faleen's intervention was highly appreciated though. Though as always, the hacker's manner of showing it was not a very usual manner for others. "Fishy-cakes makes me sound like a fancy schmancy year!" He grinned in her direction before attempting to shake the grunt off, then flee the scene.

Once everyone was gathered and the talk of the Galactic vehicles came up, 1337 was already chiming in with the dreaded request. "I wanna drive!!!" The rest of the discussion really didn't seem to strike any sort of fire under him though like it did with the rest.

"Lets see how far we can get without causing more of a commotion. But keep the ghosts out and invisible, just in case." Nyx said to Aila, and re-released Newton, who harrumphed at Aila and turned invisible. "Ah- thanks for the wig offer, but this outfit needs more hiding than my hair."

User Image Kunai's eyes turned to Sierra. She made a good point. "We don't have time to disguise her. We'll have to act as her escort. One of you take each side of her and hold her arms. If anyone asks, we've received orders from Deimos to take her off-ship and meet with him. The fact we know his current location should work in our favor."

Instead of bothering to physically pry Bonnie off the poor Galactic's face, he simply pulled out her pokeball - Leilani's too - and recalled them both. Even if the Whimsicott wasn't that strong, flailing limbs aiming at your face was usually never a good thing. Or a non-painful thing. Upon finding out that the Galactics wanted to pretty much destroy and then re-create everything, Inigo... pretty much didn't believe it. At all. It didn't seem possible in the slightest - actually sounded like the pipe dream of some crazy-loco guy - but everybody else seemed to be taking it at least vaguely serious. Seriously enough to suggest stealing another pokemon-vehicle and taking a trip to Johto, of all places. Since he hadn't been off Kodo since he was a little kid, he couldn't help but wonder how long that trip would take. How far away were the other regions?

"Right!" Aulus stepped forward and grabbed Nyx's arm in his right hand, staff still gripped in his left and his pokemon off to the side. "Can we stop dilly-dallying?" he demanded, sweeping the others with a - pink - glare. "Longer we wait, more change everything gets FUBARed, so let's move with our escort, hu?" Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! How much talking did these people need? It was time to rock, time to go, time to kick arse and find this machine and everything! "Anyone still got reservations?" he snapped acerbically. "I'm sure we get to submit a feedback form later on so could we just get on for now?" Were other people being sensible? Maybe. Did he care? Hell no. His blood rushed through his veins. He was ready to go, and couldn't stand to wait!

Mau recalled his Jolteon, and listened. Well, if things were already stocked with supplies, who were they to turn down such nice little care packages? Disguising Nyx? Yeah, it seemed like time was far too pressing to worry about disguising her. It was a good thought. "Hey." He said to Aulus as he took one of Nyx's arms. "At least you look rather guard-like." Mau took position at Nyx's other side and grabbed her with his left hand. He recalled Aki, tucking the vaporeon's ball back with the rest of his team, leaving Nuu to mill about. He addressed the Drifblim. "You heard the plans, Nuu. Make yourself invisible, but stay close."

"Blim blim!"

"And be quiet." The drifblim deflated a little and vanished. Time to go.

during agent panther's exchange with Tambery, he had been set up to see Mau not only flirt with Nxy, but kiss her. It was against protocol for a mission, but some how he felt relived. Cal would be safe.
Turning his gaze back to Tambery he only shrugged at her joke about his uniform. It was for the mission, not his standard wear.

When Aulus said something about a world bending machine, He thought that he was joking. Things were going well, going great, until Faleen and Kunai confirmed what he said as reality. He couldn’t help but wonder how the hell that was actually going to work. There was one thing he could agree on. They would have to get there and fast. Stealing a vehicle sounded just up their alley. “Aulus, shut up. We are moving.” he started out the door as calm and relaxed as he could manage.

Shade stayed close to his trainer, invisible.

Sierra sighed, still not completely comfortable with this plan, but what more could she offer? It'd have to do, and if all else failed, well...she might not have seen her last fight today.

One of the other agents had already stepped up to play a 'guard' role. Sierra aimed a pointed look at the older agent who had greeted Nyx with a kiss not long before. He'd be the most likely candidate for a second guard. Obviously the two were close, so he'd be in a better position to protect her; and another man would be the best bet for a likely guard. Unlike Sierra.

Still, she could tag along at the side as an additional escort. Besides, playing roles was what she did. Hide the real you and only let them see what you want them to see. She squared her shoulders, straightened her posture, and put on a confident, yet disdainful air, as if given a task she loathed, but was obliged to carry out. "Well, then, looks like we have little choice. Let's do this," she quipped, a sharp edge to her voice that hadn't been there before. All part of the look.

User Image A couple of rockets had released their ghost Pokemon and instructed them to go invisible. He was about to pluck one of his Pokeballs to do the same, but then he felt something sharp against the skin of that hand.

User Image Apparently one of the Elites knew that it would be a horrible idea for the hacker's ghost Pokemon to come out to assist in a serious mission. Pressing her little kunai knife against his skin, she stated quite plainly "No."

User Image "...but..."

User Image "No."

User Image "No fun..." With that smile still upon his face, he moved his hand away from his balls.

User Image Since it seemed that Aulus and Mau had been decided as the two immediate guards for Nyx, the pink haired girl hastily reminded everyone what they needed to do now.

"The objective is to return to the hangar undetected. Our cover is that we are escorting Nyx to Deimos' current location. Move swiftly, but make sure you look like you belong here. Act natural and remain undetected. Once in the hangar, we will secure a ship and continue towards Johto." Though they had managed to make it into the Galactic Headquarters and go undetected thus far, it was possible their success thus far had only been a fluke.

With a wide gesture, she signaled for everyone to follow with her as she began to lead again. Their steps had to be quick, but the fastest they could manage at the moment was a power-walk. If they moved much faster, they would have easily stood out. They soon enough were beginning to hit very familiar territory, which meant they were shortly going to be back where they started in the ship.

Upon entering the hangar they'd find that the number of Galactics had increased since the Rockets were last there. Apparently a team had been brought in to assess the supposedly-faulty Dunsparce. Said team was gathered around the vehicle near the exit, taking readings with strange devices and peering at the mechanisms in and around it.

The selection of vehicles to hijack was large and diverse. Unfortunately it was difficult to tell which might be the fastest, since their exteriors were more about Deimos' favorite pokemon than indicating speed. Along the left side of the room stood a giant mechanical drifblim, gyarados, yanmega and the empty spot where the dunsparce had probably been. On the other side of the room stood two black jets that didn't look like any particular pokemon, a mantine and a skiploom helicopter. Another issue for consideration was the Dunsparce's current location. It hadn't been moved and was still in the middle of the large room, blocking the exit. It would have to be moved before they could fly anything out of there and it was crawling with a team of at least 5 Galactics. That wasn't counting over a dozen more scattered around the large room. It was a tricky situation that seemed very likely to result in a big fight if not handled diplomatically.

Hope of diplomacy took an abrupt nose dive as a voice Nyx would recognize echoed from inside the Dunsparce.

"I'm telling you there's nothing wrong with it!" The voice was strange and raspy. It managed to sound both deep and high pitched at the same time. It was also very irate. "The communication system is perfect."

The blond woman Kunai had spoken with earlier was standing near the Dunsparce, looking annoyed, "..please tell me you're not doing this again. Hasn't the Commander played racquetball with your face enough times?"

"I'm not doing anything!" The irate voice screeched and a tall spindly man climbed out of the Dunsparce. One arm hung at his side, hand tensed into a fist. The other arm was suspended in a sling and he had nasty bruising spread over the angular features of his narrow face. "I'm telling you this vehicle is fine! I don't know why they told you it wasn't but-" Something moving across the room caught Star's eyes, distracting him from his ranting. He stared over the working Galactics at the fluffy-haired caped woman crossing the rear of the room with a large escort of grunts.

The blond woman arched an eyebrow and followed his line of sight across the room. She recognized Kunai and sighed, "It isn't ready yet. Our robotics team can't seem to pinpoint the problem.." She muttered and frowned at Star.

Star's brow furrowed. "..that's the team that was testing the Dunsparce?"

"Yes and I'm sure they'd like to get back to it, so get back in there and find the problem."

"There's no problem to fix.." Star's red eyes didn't move away from Nyx. He approached the group and addressed her, eyes flashing between the fluffy-haired Rocket and the unfamiliar men holding her, "What are you doing here?"

Nyx sighed and rolled her eyes at Star. Things were about to get much more complicated... "I don't know- I guess they're taking me to meet Deimos. Go away."

Running into Star was terrible luck. More terrible than the rest of the group probably realized. His dislike and suspicion of Nyx was practically tangible. His eyes drifted from Nyx over the rest of the group, which hadn't stopped moving. They all looked the part and like they had a job to do.

"Hey!" The blond woman shouted, "This thing isn't going to fix itself! Stop wasting time!"

He ignored the woman and addressed the Rockets, "What are your unit numbers?"

And it was back to the favorite of her most hated places in the world, though this time she was much more careful about her wandering eyes, and the redness of her face.
She stayed quiet, in place with the rest, and as uninteresting and unnoticeable as she could, just as ordered, though with bright green hair like she had, she couldn't help but feel she stood out, even though logic told her it actually would help her blend in considering the colors of all the other Galactics walking around.
Funny how that worked.

The situation in the room was assessed as they stepped in, and Faleen paused to take notice of the slight predicament before them, one that was only made worse as a tall, lanky man with a sharp face actually took notice.
She could tell at once that this wasn't good, he addressed Nyx like he knew her, and the look on his toward her wasn't very promising either.

And then the question about unit number, after the suspicious looks.
She blinked once. tilting her head and looking from the blond women, back to the man standing in front of Nyx, as if she wasn't sure what this was all about.
"TS Thirteen Thirty-Seven dash oh-three" she said, as if still confused as to why they were being asked this.

Shitshitshitshitshitshitshi...

Sierra kept the panic off her face, but it felt like her breath had frozen in her chest. She had to remind herself to breathe, all while her mind was racing. What now? No, don't panic, Sierra. Even if you are in the middle of enemy territory and horribly outnumbered and...

Stop that. What have you observed? Something about the Commander that they'd overheard while approaching...and the general attitude that the other Galactics in the area seemed to hold regarding the lanky man. Was he some sort of mechanic? Safe bet, since he was supposed to be working on repairing the Dunsparce. And yet, he seemed to carry himself with more importance than a mere mechanic. How much of that was self-imposed?

Observational and analytical skills in overdrive.

A direct answer was out of the question. She had no idea what numbers they were supposed to give, if it wasn't a trick question altogether. Best plan was to derail if possible. It was risky, but...they were trapped between a Golem and, well...yeah.

Still maintaining her bored, yet disgusted expression aimed at Nyx, Sierra leaned over to mutter to one of the other 'guards', speaking just a little too loudly to be a whisper. "The Commander isn't going to be happy about this delay. I thought Deimos said to hurry?"
