Natasha looked at Eric when he barked and smiled at his reaction to the echo. Listening to the echo, Natasha believed that the cave went on for some distance, unless the waterfall was messing with the noise. She was about to reach for her bag and flashlight when she remembered she left them behind. Darn it, she thought, squinting into the darkness, wondering just how far back the cave went.

Eric walked into the cave a bit and siffed the air. He barked again to hear the echo. He looked back at her wondering what she wanted to do.

Natasha turned to Eric when he barked again and could somehow guess what he was asking by the look he was giving her. "Well... seeing as how I don't have a flashlight, I'm not about to blindly explore a dark cave. I say we head back to my stuff. I'm starting to get hungry."

He nodded and walked back over to the steping stones that lead them to the cave. He tested a few stones and waited for her to catch up.

Natasha followed Eric out of the cave, across the stones, and back to dry land. She dried her feet off in the grass before slipping her shoes back on. She then walked over to her bag and opened it up to check if she had packed a lunch. She did not. With a sigh, Natasha but her bag over her shoulder and looked at Eric. "Guess I'll have to go back home to eat," she informed him before walking in the direction of her house.

Eric fallowed her and changed back into a human. He almost triped and laughed " Sometimes i wonder how normal people walk on only two legs.

"We're used to it," Natasha said, holding back a giggle. "How do you walk around on four legs? That seems like too many legs to me."

" More balence in my opinion." Eric replyed " And faster then two legs. If one of your two legs was hurt you would have to hop... vs haveing 4 legs you can still some what run with 3."

"I see your point," Natasha said, readjusting the strap of her bag. "I actually used to have a dog with three legs. She was born that way... Called her Trinity." Natasha chuckled. "I miss her... We never got a pet after her."

Eric titled his head to the side. " Are pets the animals that have the shiney noisey things around tire necks that get caught on things?" He asked meaning collars. " They dont look like fun... how do they not choke on em?"

"Cats usually have 'noisey things' like bells," Natasha said with a shudder. She hated cats. "Trinity just had a plain green collar, and she didn't choke because collars adjust to fit different-sized dogs. And she was smart so she knew not to get it caught on things..." She smiled sadly before realizing they were already in her backyard.

" Some dogs had noisey things on their collars, little metal things with weird scribles on them...." He couldnt realy read so the letters on dog tags was giberish to him. " Some animals arent so smart... but cats seem to be... they get stuck and make the collers fall off."
(XD eazy release collers... my cat gets them off easly cuz she hates collars)

Natasha laughed as she listened to Eric's explanation. "An ID?" she asked with a smile. "Those are there to make sure pets get returned to their owners if they get lost or run away because, like you said, 'some animals aren't so smart'." She smiled again and walked over to her back door. "You want to come in? I can make lunch for both of us."

Eric shook his head, " Its alright, I can go catch a rabit or something later... im not realy hungry." He chuckled realizeing its probably not normal for people to eat rabbits.

"'Rabbit'?" Natasha asked, sticking out her tongue. "Then again... I've eaten alligator, so rabbit doesn't seem that bad." She opened up the door and waited for Eric to follow before closing it behind them. "Make yourself comfy. I'm going to make a sandwich."
