I give a slight nod. "Very well." I say pleasantly to him. I knew acting rude or resisting would be rather pointless at the moment, so I figured I may as well try to make him care about me... prehaps inflict a reverse version of Stockholm Syndrome. I open the door and procede with Tellat cautiously.

Laci turns to watch Jasmine leave. She tried to give her a smile, but she knows it looks fake. She turns back to the boy, watching him carefully. Who was he? Was he nice? She noticed the piece of meat lying near the edge of her cage and snatched it up in case he got hungry and decided it was his. Men couldn't be trusted.

Inside the room, you find The Professor, a number of scientists, and a single metal table.
"Two?" The Professor says. "Oh, very well. The wolf first."
A group of scientists come over and roughly grab Tellat from you, while a different group roughly forces you into a chair and holds you there.
"Inject the serum," The Professor says in an almost bored tone.
A scientist injects a green liquid into Tellat's arm. She convulses for a moment, but then is still. The Professor sighs.
"Still nothing..." he mutters. "Switch them out."
You and Tellat are roughly forced to trade places. You are locked into place as she was by metal bonds on your wrists and ankles. A scientist injects the same green liquid into your veins. Your body twitches, but doesn't quite writhe. After a moment, it's done. You feel strange...but no one comments, so it's nothing physical. You are released.
"They've both grown more hair, sir," a scientist says.
"Hm..." The Professor replies. "Back to the cell."
The crimson door is opened. The guard is waiting for you and Tellat on the other side. Tellat is roughly forced into your arms by a scientist.

"Define more hair... and you don't have to be so rough, I was going to comply anyways. I know when I'm facing certain death." I say to them. "You'd likely get better compliance from the others if you treated them nicer... and if we are to be your warriors, it is advantageous to feed us better, no? Healthy warriors are better warriors!" I add on cheerfully.

I rub my head and groan in distress.
"I guess I'm just too slow...I really thought I could make it to help you all..." I look to see that Jasmine and Tellat have been taken and a quivering sigh escapes my lips.
"I hope they'll be okay..."
Then I look to the cage next to me and see a girl...a very pretty girl with a cat mask. After my mask sliding off and revealing my face, my green eyes and dark hair, I decide to fasten it back onto my face as soon as I can, considering I passed out shortly when it was yanked off by the guard.
"Hey...I don't think I really noticed you before..." I say with an excited tone.
"And you're wearing a cat mask, like me! It looks really nice on you! Well...I'm wearing a...something mask...I'm not sure...but wasn't there some other person wearing a cat-like mask?"
I call out, "Is there a cheetah mask girl over there?" as the brief image flashed in my mind, but then I pay attention to the curled up girl next to me.
"I'm Nero, by the way. I'm sorry I didn't get to help you all out soon enough..." I say sadly with my head bowing, then I lift my head slightly.
"Do you...see anything strange happening to me? They injected me with something, and I don't know what..."
I look down at my youthful bare chest, legs, and arms, but only notice a little more hair on my legs. Hmm...

"Shut up and move!" an older scientist says.
"I'll think about the food," The Professor says.
"Professor?"
"Shut up, Heiko."
"Yes sir."
The guard on the other side of the door snaps his fingers.
"Come on, you two," he says.
Nero:
The mask had already been fully fastened into place by the guard. The extra hair is all over your body.

Laci scoots away fron the boy nervously, her eyes never leaving him, "Your mask is some sort of tiger lion mix." She drags her blanket back over her bare legs and shivers, "I am Laci Fairchild."

"Very well. I figure a scientist such as you're would be a reasonable man!" I say before heading down to the guard. At the point to which I return the to cell room, I make a point to stop by Laci's cell in order to pick up her food donation. she mentioned a distrust for men, so I was doubtful if she would allow Nero to handle the strip, and I'm once again sure I can at least sweettalk the guard to let me do that. It's not as if I had been rude to them, and it's not a very outlandish request, either. hopefully the professor does listen to my request. I somehow doubt we'll be able to survive long on minimal food like this, especially in this cold. Wonder how long it'll take to get enough resources to set an escape? Oh well... all in good time, just have to make sure to my my standards of living better while I wait.

I just lean against the back wall, and close my eyes. "Looks like I'm not getting out of here yet. I'm honestly starting to think this is real. But everyone knows you can't alter someones mind with alchemy, only magic!"

The guard leads you back to the cell room. There, he does let you go over to Laci's cell. He stands close to you, but is very patient.

I stick my hand through the bars to Laci's cell. "Here, you can give Tellat the food you wanted to giver her now. It wasn't too bad, by the way. not nearly as bad as the ambiance would like to tell you." I say to her, trying to help ease some of her nevres and make her more comfortable.

Laci grabs the meat and hands it to Jasmine. She wonders what the others look like beneath their masks. She'd already seen the boy's face, but what of the others? "There you go, take care of her. She looks as though she needs it."

I take the ship and bow slightly. "Thank you." I say warmly to her, then passing the strip to Tellat. I walk back to my cell. and sit down. I look at guards. "Hey, perhaps you should indulge the queen with some booze to shut her up. Or at least make the antics even more fun!" I say playfully.

"Can't do tha'," the middle guard replies. "Agains'a ru's."
Laci:
"All right, your turn," the left guard says.
He opens your cell and waits for you to come to him.
