Beejoux ((Live or die?! Hourly roll 2)) ((Would help if I rolled..)) Luck had kept any more falling rocks from crushing the girl as she knelt stunned beside her fallen friends. Somehow she was still alive, Though at this point she wasn't sure if that was fortunate or not. She'd just witnessed two very graphic deaths, and not just deaths, but two of the people she cared for most out of all the citizens that'd been dumped into space. At this point she didn't see it as luck, but she couldn't quite bring herself to simply give up. She got to her feet, and that's when it struck her. An overwhelming, maddening sense of pure terror. Not at the giant skeletal beast, not at the attacking negaverse, but everything. It brought her back to her knees with a helpless, ragged shriek. Palms smacking against the sides of her head before fingers tangled and pulled at pale hair. Eyes slamming shut against the terror that was literally all around her. She was alive, for now, but she was damn near helpless in her current state. Some lingering, stubborn sense of self preservation forced her hands from her head, and she crawled forward along the wreckage blindly. Opening her eyes only when her hand brushed a bit of rock and brought a startled scream to her lips. She had to get away, somehow she had to get away from this battle and just hide. The senshi would kill that monster and drive the others back. She had to believe it, had to, or she might as well just curl up and die now.

the_scowling_cat Death was supposed to be peaceful. Death was supposed to be among a bunch of other gryphons and sunlight and grass and CALM.
Not being pinned down to the damn rainbow road with the dragon on it. Mary's ghost glared at the dragon and she roared. Roared. She zipped inside the road, underneath those who she classified as friends once. She stopped just under where the senshi, knights, and Negaverse were battling. She watched for a moment, rage building within her little ghost body.
And then she roared her frustrations and rage out like a shockwave, and shook the section of Surrounding she was inside of, like a major earthquake.
YOU WILL PAY FOR MAKING ME STUCK HERE! ALL OF YOU! ALL OF YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
There would be no distinguishing between good and evil. They were all at fault here, and they would all pay.
Her spirit was strong. Strong with the force of newly-departed life, strong with anger, strong with a desire to get the hell out of this place she was forced to be without really ever being asked. It was something that the Surrounding recognized, something that it felt it could use. A pattern appeared on the rainbow road beneath where the quaking was. An intricate set of rings entwined with the symbol of Chronos, an edge of lace around it all.
There was another roar of anger, of strength, of vitality that could last through one life into the next. The ring on the Surrounding glowed brighter and brighter blinding momentarily half a dozen people around it.
When it faded Mary lived again yet never would she truly be the same.

Knights, of course they had more knights waiting here, furious he waited for his eyes to clear from the blinding flash of light so that he could take in this new comer to the battle. A page at least, weak, had she been one of the multitude of civilians? She must have been perhaps that was why they brought them here.
Perhaps they had seeded them with whatever it was that created ‘Knights’, whatever it was that had twisted his one time General at the hands of that so-called ‘Prince’. What if even the senshi garnered more respect than he did? He might never amount to what Tanzanite had for all her sacrifices. The mingling of fear and respect and downright awe that mingled constantly around her was at least what he’d consider ‘Due’. He envied her strength, her resolution and in some ways her willingness to sacrifice.
He gritted his teeth and dreamed of their obliteration as he moved to defend their great beast.

Jada had always been a being of emotion. They shook her fiercely, quickly. The feelings brought on as she stared out over the battlefield came on as fiercely as any other. It was envy. The negaversers- every one she had met knew their place. Their goal. What they wanted was clear. They could teleport. They had a leader. They had rulership, goals. They had Ares.
So she punched the beast in the head.
It made her feel a little better, but not much.

In her scramble she came all to close to being trampled and so she had to reluctantly pull herself to her feet, weaving through the other's going this way and that, throwing punches and magic.
She stood shaking her eyes roaming about in an attempt to find a familiar face, wanting to at least be close to someone she knew. She need a bit of courage right now.

Apparently she had been careless. From her behind came a hit, enough quiet to not been noticed but enough strong to knock her down unconscious. Gravity took the effect and so Jade's lifeless body had fell on the ground.
After some time she opened her eyes slowly. She felt odd warmth surrounding her. She saw her hand, it glowing softly in golden dust-like color. Was she turned into one of those who had pointed up the space and said ominous words? What was she?
But most importantly, had she failed? Where was Menthe? Was she dead? She had wanted to protect her. But she was nowhere to be seen.
Jade eyes wandered into the fightning growth. Her lips pursed tightly againgst each other. These senshi.... They had powers that she didn't have. If she would had them, maybe she would had been able to protect her. Why she didn't have powers like they did?
With these jealous thoughts and disappointed feelings she turned to look back on ground, shedding a a golden tear that joined the glow of the rainbow bath.

So much s**t had happened so it was no surprise that Cameron decided to not be there when it hit the fan. However, the man hadn't been able to avoid the growing chaos that surrounded and flooded into prison that was otherwise called the Surrounding forever. It seemed to lurk around every corner and eventually he walked right into it like a brick wall. The wall was more like spit though and he walked right into the breath, causing him to cough and then take a step back.
He felt funny, and his arm began to spasm. He looked around cautiously and then his other hand held his twitching arm against his body as if to tell it to stop it. He was in control of his emotions, or at least he told himself. He did not wish to partake in this whole being afraid thing that his body seemed to be convinced of. It didn't seem to be any use though, his arm shaking under his hand.
