Elliot continued to braid before pausing, his minor nausea quickly removing itself. Odd, he'd felt the exact way before sleeping, but he'd assumed that it was because he was so exhausted that sleep counter-acted the sickness. "It was an ability I was born with along with many others. It is hard to describe, but I freeze the air and any water molecules in the air move together before falling down as snow. I'm not quite positive on the science of it, but that is what I imagine." And chuckled softly. "You shall see quite a lot more snow that is much more beautiful than what I created. Mother Nature is much better than me."

He exhaled softly, glancing at his lantern, white, blank, calm, how it should be. "Like the lantern is another ability of mine, there is a stone in my country that reacts to my emotions, sadly the entire castle is filled with it, so I do my best to not affect it, though I don't affect such a large area. Just a bubble around me I suppose." and motioned an invisible bubble around himself, arms spread out. "I'm unsure of how that works as well."

"No, it's just me, though we have all sorts of abilities, I'm the only one who seems to have it. It's not a very good ability if people can read what you're feeling all the time." It was like he was an open book, maybe when he was younger it was good but growing older it certainly was not. Even he needed privacy despite being a well known figurehead. A soft sigh left his lips, moving back to undo all the braids he had created, running his fingers through her hair before tracing at her small ear again with a smile. "I find this to be a great calming exercise."

"As long as the lantern remains white, I am unreadable." He answered, continuing to trace and stroke the ear. "I do not mind being unreadable, though it can be a little lonely doing so." he smiled as she lifted her head. "That is why I have you." and kissed her forehead before kissing her pink lips. "I wish of nothing at the moment, Miss Lily. Your company is good enough."

"My sister's have abilities, Martha can imitate any sound you can think of which is scary. She can sound like mother or servants or myself, which doesn't help when she's talking back and quotes you word for word in your voice." He chuckled. "Annabelle can control gravity around her, but she's learning to focus it on other things. A mock psychic I suppose she is. She likes to stick to ceilings when she wants to be alone, Emily's abilities seem the most average. She can tame animals. She hates her ability, but it helps her memorize and look for mountain vegetation."

Though common abilities of people? "Well making others feel welcomed, there is actually that ability, many servants have it. It makes you feel warm and happy, what else?" He tapped against his other arm. "Ability to withstand the cold, I was born with it but my sisters weren't, nor was my father. it's soft of a 40-60 ratio." and moved his hand in a so-so motion. "Ability to make plants grow, though it's not quite frowned upon, but in a way it ruins soil and crops when things bloom when they're not supposed to."

"They are merely not allowed to use their abilities in the winter when things shouldn't grow, during the spring, summer and fall they can do as they wish with their plant abilities. Despite being a country secluded in mountains, we have the highest export of fruits and vegetables. It is our economy alone with mining and herbs." He explained. "But our flowers are colorful, vivid, and beautiful when they bloom. There are certain types of orchid that bloom in the winter, you know." As for other abilities. "As many abilities as there are people, but you do get the few that are born without anything. Those are the people I value the most."

He smiled softly before thinking again. "Our painter, yes. he can taste colors by just touching them, this way when he paints, he touches it to make sure everything tastes wonderful together. His paintings are exquisite and so lifelike." It was almost as if Elliot could see the paintings in his mind. "You would think they would start moving. But we have some healers as well, but we also have those with negative abilities. Making one feel sad, or killing things." he shook his head. "Such abilities cannot be helped, though the killing one requires skin on skin contact. They're lonely people, though two of them cancel each other out."

Was Lily interested in those with the touch of the grim reaper? It was a weird thing to be fascinated with, though the prince would admit, he was fascinated with them at one point in time. It was actually people with such negative abilities that gave birth to children with none, luckily there were few with such abilities, and even fewer kids as such. No doubt he felt sorry for them, they must feel so excluded and left out from the rest of the world. He had met one once, with no abilities, they were truly beautiful people with beautiful souls. They understood the words hard work and earning your keep.

"I can agree with you on that, Miss Lily. No doubt it is a very heavy burden. But by chance are you a healer? When you touch me my motion sickness disappears."

Oh dear, he'd said something again, she was stuttering and shaking. He touched her shoulders gently, squeezing them. "No, it's nothing bad, its actually quite all right. Healer's are one of the few rare abilities we have in Nalenyr." He said with a smile, stroking her hair and hugging her. "If you do indeed have an ability, Miss Lily, then I am very thankful you have it." and kissed her cheek, nuzzling her neck in a comforting manner. Would her healing herself quickly not count as an ability? It did, but it was best not to break her mind, she was now in a very fragile state.
