Tense enough as she already might have been, Dyani became even more stiff when she finally saw Toby. While it looked like he was younger than her, she also couldn't deny that he was a cat - a snow leapord to be exact, a predator. She stayed completely silent as Toby and Sebastian conversed and Sebastian handed Angel off - maybe in a way she was relieved that they wouldn't have to get themselves lost trying to find where this wolf lived, but there was still something twisting at her heart. Why, she couldn't have said. What, she had no idea. ... Wait, what? Dyani's ears twitched as she realized Sebastian had asked her a question - did she want to come to dispose of the humans? No, she didn't want to. She didn't want to look at them. She didn't want to know if they were simply unconscious rather than dead - and learn that the hard way. She didn't want to have to carry one if circumstances required her to. No, she did not want to go. But maybe she should? Maybe she shouldn't be around whoever this other anthro was. He was an anthro like her, but so was Sebastian as well - and she knew the latter man better than she did the former. So what was she to do? The tugging feeling in her heart became a lurch in her stomach when suddenly her choice was made - she could have sworn she saw one of the humans stir. Biting her lip, Dyani nodded towards Sebastian and inspected the human who had stirred with a hooved foot. Was it true that he had stirred, unconscious and alive rather than dead? What about the other one? Could there be more humans on their way? What if said other humans found these two and increased their search? The same human stirred again, this time with a spasm of the hand, and Dyani bucked.

When Dyani bucked, Sebastian, out of reflexes, leaped back off from her "Whoa whoa whoa, calm down, the human isn't gonna wake up yet, and if he did I'll handle it ok?" he walked up and placed a hand on her shoulder "Are you sure your gonna be ok, Anya?"

Dyani's bucking was mostly an instinctual reaction, but as soon as she thought she had hit Sebastian she felt guilty. Sebastian, who had showed her that human things weren't always scary. Sebastian, who liked whatever those strange 'burger' things were. Sebastian, her friend. And she might have hit him. She herself wasn't entirely sure of how much power her bucking packed, but she knew it couldn't be good. She turned to look at him, and realized right about then that he had his hand on her shoulder; the touch brought the feeling of some strange material against the fur there - oh, right, he had given her his jacket. Sebastian, her friend ... she might have hit him ... She stared at him for a little bit, thinking - he was her friend. He was her friend. He was -- He was asking her if she was going to be okay? Well, she wasn't entirely sure. It was true that if she had just bucked, she wouldn't be calm at all transporting the humans. She couldn't even carry one - they were much too heavy and she knew that-- Wait, had he just called her Anya? "I ... want to go with you."

He looked at her and noticed she was sure, he nodded "ok then but I'll carry the humans." he then went into the shack and came out it what looked like a long metal stick. "Hold this handle here" he held the rubber grip part to her.

Dyani looked from Sebastian to the two humans, wondering - since when was it possible to carry two humans at the same time? Well, maybe it was possible to carry two infants (Oh, infants scared her so much) but considering the size of these two men, would that be possible? They had weapons on them, too - what if they accidentally went off? Where would that put them? Had she actually hit Sebastian when she had bucked, and if she had would that deter him from carrying two humans that could be easily larger than they were? She turned her timid deep brown gaze to look at him, but he was gone. A click of fear registered through her like a snaking chill up her spine, coiling around her neck to choke her with it's -- Oh, no, he was coming back now. What on earth was that he was holding? Would they be using it to carry the humans, maybe? Now that he was back she had a chance to look at him, and her gaze was puzzled. What is this thing, and why do you want me to hold this handle? But even despite her questioning gaze, she gripped the rubber part of the handle. What a strange feeling rubber was against her hand. Yes, there had been rubber in there ... But maybe as long as these things were here with Sebastian, a fellow anthro like her, they lost their power and weren't as scary. She had told him so. She trusted him ... ... right?

He smiled "there, now incase something bad happens just hit them with this, it won't kill them but it'll knock them out. but remember don't touch this metal part of it, ok?... Well actually what it really does, you'd have to press the button on the handle where your thumb is. you press it first then swing, but as long as you don't press it-" he touches the metal part "it should be fine see?"

Dyani's ears perked with the sudden realization. Oh, this strange pole like device wasn't to be used to carry the humans as someone might use a device to carry a piece of litter ... It would be used to hit them and knock them out. But he had smiled at her, like he had used whatever this happened to be a dozen times before. (She trusted him, right?) Dyani looked at her hands almost as though in embarrassment, her gaze having been on Sebastian. Okay, I shouldn't touch this metal part ... there's a button by my thumb ... (This was where she looked at her hands, curious. She didn't press anything though, not wanting to know what might happen. She had already bucked, she was sure that was more than enough.) But it should be fine. That was what he had just said. Everything was going to be okay. She trusted him, right? She trusted him. Although still unsure of what to do with this strange pole like device she held, she looked from Sebastian to the humans as though to say; So what do we do now? I ... I trust you, Sebastian. Please don't prove me wrong.

Sebastian happened to pick up what she wanted to say and picked up the humans "Alright, then lets get this done." he winked at her "no worries its not far from here to teh road, so it should be a quick safe run." he started walking, his speed was slightly slowed cuz of the wait of the two humans but he seemed to be ok.

Dyani looked back up from her hands, surprised, when Sebastian seemed to have picked up her thoughts. She gazed at him for a moment. Did that mean he knew that she trusted him now? What would he do with that information, if anything? Silently hoping that it didn't mean anything (They had a good ... friendship ... here) the doe watched as Sebastian picked up the two large humans with what almost looked like effortlessness, just for a second. And then it was gone; she saw the way his walk became hampered - was it indeed possible to carry such large humans for an extended period of time? Holding the device he had given her carefully and a bit akwardly, Dyani walked beside Sebastian towards their destination. She still didn't know where they were going, but hoped it would just be over with soon. She knew she never wanted to see humans again - even though, whether she liked it or not, there would certainly be many more of them very soon ...

"your scared of humans right?" Sebastian asked as he carried the humans up a steep hill, it seemed like he was getting a workout of it like it was an excerise, but he seemed to have alot of stamina. "I mean I guess most anthros are scared and/or angry of them, huh?"

Dyani didn't react inordinarily (provided her mannerisms) when asked if she was in fact afraid of humans - yes, very much so. Of course she was. She was all too aware that her fearful nature showed as conspicously as a porcupine's signature feature, and although she wished that one day she might be able to control that, she knew right now that it just wasn't possible. Her only defense was running, and it was just instinctual. Her fear of humans, however, wasn't instinctual - it had become ingrained in her over a number of years. Just for a split second (or maybe a little more,) Dyani considered telling her what the humans had subjected her to during captivity. But then she squished the thought under the weight of self-consciousness and self-doubt, realizing that she had never kept a lingering fear of Sebastian's weapons. That certainly meant nothing seriously bad had happened to her, right? No, of course not. She was just being silly.
Then there came the hill and Dyani's posture changed a little to adjust her body to walking up a steep hill as they approached it, probably an instinctual thing once again - but what wasn't instinctual was that she came a little closer than she had been and put one delicate hand on one of the human's backs (sweaty, damp and disgusting) in an attempt to provide leverage for the both of them. The pole like device Sebastian had given her was in her left hand because Sebastian was on her right, still held slightly akwardly but with more of a firmer and more confident grip than before. Hopefully, they wouldn't have to use it. But how far were they going to go, and what time would it be when they arrived - and what if the humans were awake and tried to fight back? By the time the 'what-if' scenarios finished their crazy spirals through her frizzy-headed hair, they had climbed back down to the bottom of the hill and Dyani shyly put her hand back towards her side.

Sebastian walked with her as the street was not far off form sight "Its a shame really... being scared of humans... in the end their just as scared as us. they might even think that your dangerous to them... you know?" he looked at her smiling, there was some meaning to what he said there. he then looked forward as the were almost there.

Dyani finally caught sight of the faint glimmer of the street just as Sebastian said something that made her muscles tense. In the end they're just as scared as us. They might even think that you're dangerous to them ... It was a policy she had learned to adopt with honeybees (even though she was still very much afraid of them): If you don't bother them they won't bother you. But the humans had started it. And wow, that suddenly felt very childish. Sebastian was only one year older than she was (although she herself didn't know that), because in her mind his wisdom made him much older than she. In truth, listening to him made her feel like a toddler yearning to hear about their relative's 'good times' of the past, like it was some grand fairytale that only they knew. Keeping up at a trot in the realization she had probably stopped in her tracks during thought, Dyani realized they were close to the street now. The humans started it, she thought. They trapped them, experimented on them, did horrible things to them ... and it was only because they were afraid? Dyani risked a look at the human that she had not only bucked at because of a simple twitch, but had put her hand on for leverage on the hill. They certainly didn't look afraid, armed with weapons almost as big as they were and dressed in black as though to think it might help them camoflauge better. And then she returned to seeing Angel, hearing her call Sebastian a 'human wannabe.' Could it be that ... ? No. No, he was safe. Perfectly safe. Of course he was. He was her friend. She trusted him. Yes, of course she did ... she trusted him ... And then suddenly the road was right infront of her, looming endlessly on both sides. Beckoning, almost. Dyani shook her head and looked at Sebastian again, silently asking him what they were going to do.
