 This time around, DK was a little wiser to their attacks, twirling to the side to avoid the brunt of their blows. Once he stopped spinning, he faced them and sang some more. "I'm bigger. Faster. And stronger too. I'm the first member, of the DK CREW!" On the last word, he began to slam his palms into the ground, sending out shockwaves to the hunter team. HP: 36/60 Damage: MISS Target: All

Somehow, miraculously, Jerry managed to jump out of the way of the shockwaves with only a yelp as he tottered in a tangle of skirt and high heels. "I am... DONE with all of this!" He howled, finally grabbing the skirt to haul it off. Frilly pantaloons and (oh god) tights was better than battling with the layers of poofy skirts at least. "Candy you can have that if you want," He huffed, and the bazooka was back onto his shoulder once more....
Unfortunately, it was at that point one of his heals decided to break and he went toppling back onto the conveyor belt with a yelp. Frustrated, he threw said shoe at the ape anyway.

Candace frowned. "Don't call me Candy, Jerry." She called out to him, jumping over the skirts. Somehow DK's attack missed her don't expect a lot of detail when this is done from an iPhone. Maybe it was because she ducked to grab Atropos who had returned to her via the movement of the conveyor belt headed her way. She put them on quickly and ran up the belt as fast as she could, jumping in the air and putting a leg out to kick at the monkey thing.

Getting kicked by the one with sharp boots, DK let out a screech out before grabbing the nearest barrel. He managed to avoid the swordsman... and it seemed that Peach wanted to try and mimic Mario. Only.. her shoe didn't really do a damn thing to him. "So DK! DONKEY. KONG. DK! DONKEY KONG IS HERE!" he shouted before hurling the barrel at Harrison. HP: 32/60 Damage: 6 Target: Harrison

Harrison did not dodge the barrel.
"I ALWAYS HATED THIS STUPID GAME," he said, going in swinging.
B0nez didn't share Harrison's irritation. At that hit, the eyes of the skullguard lit a hot and eager yellow.
Really, B0nez said, because it's my favorite.

Jerry was at his wit's end. Ups and downs and belittlement and mockery and his fragile psyche wasn't sure how much more he could take. Standing up straight and tall, despite the pink corset, the tiara and the stockings and lacey bloomers, he aimed Roar once again, more carefully this time. Nostrils flaring, he pulled the trigger.

"Ready, Atropos?" Candace grinned down at her boots. She could see them sparking and glowing brighter and brighter, the gem eyes pulsating with purple light. Atropos cackled with delight, literally buzzing with excitement.
YES. YES. YEEEEEEEEEES. AHAHAHA. DO IT, CANDACE. LET IT OUT. Atropos' excitement was contagious. Candace's grin faded into a smirk as she ran at DK as fast as she could. She jumped into the air and stuck out her leg to kick the monkey in the face, taking that chance where he was stunned to get in another strike. And another. And another. And another. Over and over until the glowing died away and both she and Atropos backed away panting, a grin on the hunter's face as she backed out of the way of her two teammates. Damn. That felt good.
Damn right it did. Atropos purred, sounding blissfully content like...well...a woman who had just experienced a fantastic release.

Things seemed to be going alright... until Candace ran up to him and began kicking him in the face over and over and over and over again. DAMN THAT HURT. Letting out a rageful sound once she was through, he blindly wound up a punch before unleashing his fist at the nearest target. It seemed that last attack had done well to get him to STOP SINGING. Rushing forward along the conveyor belt, Jerry's expression barely flinched, a soft, rhythmic hum escaping his throat as his weapon was re-aimed from a closer trajectory. He'd show this stupid Haunted House what a Princess could do...
Roar's eyes suddenly burst with light as the howl screeched it's way through the room, echoing across the far walls with ear-drum splitting tenacity, the air visibly rippling between his cannon and the ape with his drums.

Harrison took the punch in the jaw, and then turned back to the gorilla. The shield had taken the damage, but still.
Touch me, B0nez said.
That made Harrison pause. I am touching you, he thought.
Me to me. My blades. Right to left. Touch them.
Harrison did. They both lit up, growing that same hot yellow that B0nez's eyes had gotten hot with, until he was holding two glowing, bright, yellow blades. And then the glow started to focus, at the point where the blades met, until Harrison was struggling to keep the blades together at all, the energy felt like it was going to throw them apart.
Let them, B0nez said, voice strangely focused.
Harrison did.
The ball of energy went barreling right after Jerry's.
Jerry's hit first.

And then without so much of a warning, a hole was blasted right through DK's torso as he lifted up another barrel, ready to hurl it. Letting out a shriek, he fell back, with the barrel falling onto him. Donkey kong was no longer here. HP: KO

Candace winced and covered her ears as Jerry's bazooka unleashed a mighty, screeching howl that blasted straight through DK and tore the gorilla in half. She stopped and just stared. What was with him today? He was asking her out on dates, killing everything, being an all around...badass. Jerry was..Jerry was awesome. Shock and bewilderment changed to pride and excitement, a wide grin on her face as she hurried over to Jerry. Atropos' boots glowed until they desummoned and formed into her purple rings again.
Then she did something she didn't think she'd ever do. Not with Jerry. Not in a million years. She grabbed him by the arm, tugged him close against her, and planted a kiss square on his mouth. Her other arm lifted to curl around his shoulders and hold him close until she felt she was ready to end the kiss. It wasn't anything spectacular, not in Candace's book, but it was still a kiss. She was grinning ear to ear as she put both arms over his shoulder, curling them behind his neck and rubbing the tip of her nose against his again. "Ohhhh, Jerry! You're amazing today! I'm so proud! I have the best team ever." Candace squealed, now rubbing her cheek against Jerry's and grinning Harrison's way.
She really did have the best team ever. That's how she felt right now.

Jerry's eyes were still glazed, nostrils flaring as he repetitively pulled the trigger on his cannon instinctively, even as the woman suddenly threw herself against him, arms wrapped around his neck. Roar took that moment to desummon himself, glinting as he now hung from the pink-clad man's neck. They did not need any sort of accidental eruptions.
The kiss made him blink, his face going scarlet, "C-candace!" he managed, and nearly lost his tiara. "I... " He looked around frantically, a bit confused again but this time at least he was smart enough not to vocalize it, "Is Harrison okay? Are you ok? I think I'm ok, that monkey wasn't so tough, not really! I'm more mortified about the ah... costume change but er-" He babbled bashfully.
Had... had she just... really just... on the lips and...
She likes you, guy. Get over it. Play it cool. Roar at least sounded in good humor. Aah, delicious Fear.
"I'm g-glad we're ok!" His voice cracked in a totally cool manner.

B0nez's blades still tight in Harrison's grip. It was all pretty unbelievable. But they weren't out of the woods (warehouse?) yet. The glow in the Bonez's skull had gone with the ball of energy, and B0nez wasn't coaching him any more, just had the same nervousness Harrison had.
"I'm okay," Harrison volunteered. "You guys'll have plenty of time to schmooze later. We need to find a way outta here."
