The twins took the books and looked at them.

Aki liked the dwarfs they looked cute. "I like this one" he said. "They look cute. These dwarfs and the girl."

Yuki liked the Cinderella book "I like this one. She has a pretty dress."

The twins went to look at the Peter Pan book. "This was your favorite?" Aki asked as he looked at the pictures. "The pirate does not look to scary." he said.

Yuki climbed over his shoulder to see and agreed. "Yes that looks like a good book."

They were having fun looking at the books.

They looked at the Tarzan book but decided they liked the pirate one better. It had more action and the pirate did not seem so scary.

There were so many books at the book store! Yuki picked up a book with a yellow bear on it that said "Pooh." She looked at it and said "This bear looks cute and no scary stuff."

Aki sat on the floor and started reading the Peter Pan book.

Aki and Yuki nodded as they read the books they liked. They had plenty of books from the children's section and the children's picture encyclopedia and atlas they picked out earlier. Aki was reading Peter Pan and really enjoying it and Yuki was reading Cinderella. They could read by very slow so they had to sound out each word a couple of times if they were long to read. They never went to school and they did not get to read that often as they mostly played games or did chores at their old house.

The twins said okay as they closed the books and piled them up for them to buy and take home. "Yes we want to see more stores please Sonja." said Yuki.

Aki wanted to read more but he wanted to see the shops too. "Okay we read later. Thank you for getting the books. We like them." He handed the books to Sonja.

"CDs and DVDs?" they didn't know what those were so they followed her into the store to see. "What are those?" they asked. They looked at the pictures on the packages. They had shiny silver discs inside. "What are these for?" there was a TV playing a movie on the wall. "Wow what is that?" they said as they watched it. They never saw a TV before. "People are inside box." Yuki said.

Aki said that they would like to learn to write and that they had never seen a TV.

The twins went to listen to the headphones. Aki picked one out and tried it "Oh, there is music!" Yuki came over "Let me try!" Aki hands it to her and she listens "Yes, I hear music." They played with the headphones for a while then went to the television to see how it worked.

They went over and there were chairs so they sat down and watched. Aki got up to get closer to the screen to see how it worked then sat back down to watch. It was playing Pirates of the Caribbean so he was fascinated by the action and pirates since he just was reading Peter Pan.

"Look pirates like in the book we got." he said to Yuki. She said "Ya they don't seem so scary." but she had to hold her ears when there were big explosions.
