Nick nodded before having to lay back down again. "F-first things first... Yo-ou need to rest..." he said, biting his lip as he felt the pain searing through his chest.

Matthew chuckled, he ruffled Nick's hair. "You too bro." He said. "Night." Matt left the room, he turned the lights out and closed the door a bit, leaving It cracked. He went to the sleeping room and flopped down on his bunk.

Nick shut his eyes once the lights were off. It wasn't long before he was asleep again.

Matthew, Clay, Jace and Tanner along with Kirin were given the day off to rest.
Matt went straight to Nick's room when the medic's let him through, he was wondering how his bother was doing this morning. He peeked Into the room to see If he was up. He had Clay right behind him who wanted to check on Nick as well.

Nick was sitting up slightly once the medics left. He perked up a bit when he spotted Matt and Clay. "H-hey... Mornin' guys... What's the schedule for today?"
Kirin got up and changed, finally getting a nice shower and headed off to the lunch room to get breakfast. She sat alone for now, mostly in thought as she ate quietly.

Matthew and Clay walked In.
"Don't have one, commander Hoffman Is letting us off today." Matt said with a smile, he was wearing his lazy clothes. A black long sleeve shirt with NY on the front for 'new york' and blue jeans with holes In the knees.
Clayton was a dressed sort of the same way. He said a white and black thank top with black jeans.

Nick chuckled lightly. "Well at least you guys have the day off. Of course I'm stuck here still... They should hopefully let me out of here today... Even if they say I should stay another night, I'm getting out of here and at least sleeping in the bunks with you guys..."
Kirin, dressed in torn jeans and a simple black t-shirt. She sighed softly as she ate. Once she finished, she handed her tray back before heading around with her hands in her pockets.

"As long as you can get up with out hurting, you can come with us. We're going to get breakfast." Matthew said with a smile.
Tanner walked around for a while, he was wearing a black tank top with a bloody skull on the front and blue jeans. He seemed to be In his own little world until he turned a corner and almost walked Into Kirin, he stopped In time and took a step back. "Oh, sorry." He said.

Nick nearly shot up in the bed at the thought and had to restrain himself to make sure he got up slowly so he didn't feel the pain in his chest. Keeping a grin, he climbed out of bed and managed to stand on his feet.
Kirin came to a stop and looked up to see Tanner. She merely shrugged and walked passed him. "It's no big deal. Mornin' Tanner." she replied as she continued walking.

Matthew couldn't help but chuckle. "If you start having trouble let me know alright?" He said before leading him and Clayton to the lunch room.
"Morning Rin." He replied as she walked away, he watched her for a few before sighing. Tanner shook his head. /your In the middle of a war... you can't like her... not now./ He thought to himself before heading to the lunch room to get something to eat.

Nick nodded and walked after Matthew and Clayton. He kept up as well as he could. For now, his chest wasn't bothering him as much, partly because he was healing, but also because the medics had given him more pain killers earlier.
Kirin trotted off to the edge of the safe area, staring out of the gates at the uninhabited lands. She kept her hands in her pockets for now, only to bite her lip and accidentally made it bleed a bit. You have duty to fulfill... Start doing your job and stop worrying about him...

Matthew stayed close to his brother just In case. When they got to the lunch room, a few soldier's that were with them during the mission walked up to them.
"Hey Nick, how's your wound healing?" One of them asked.
"How can you be walking around? Shouldn't you be resting?" Another asked.
Clayton got his and Nick's trays before finding a table for them while Matt stayed behind with Nick.

Nick just scratched the back of his head slightly, keeping one hand over his bandaged chest. At least he was wearing a green shirt over top. "Healing pretty good, and I'm fine with talking around," he insisted.

Matthew smiled and lead his brother over to their table were Clay was waiting for them. "You've always been a quick healer." He said before sitting down.

Nick nodded as he sat down next to his brother. "Of course I have. It comes in handy too when we're dealing with the locust, so hopefully by tomorrow when you guys have duty again, I can be right there next to you," he said with a grin. He thanked Clay for getting a tray for him before starting to eat.
