He gave her a smile, reaching out to put his arm around her affectionately as he began to walk forward.
"It's easy. You just have to think about the area you want to give them. Think of something, make it real in your mind, and I will make it be so."
He smiled, thinking of what else he'd be doing. Seeing her soul, completely, with no walls between them. Seeing her thoughts and feelings as clearly, no, clearer, than he saw his own.

Lucy closed her eyes and thought in her mind about an area and somehow a rose garden popped into her mind. She always liked roses under a beautiful night sky.
"I have a place in mind, though I am not sure if it will work,"Lucy told him.

He smiled, walking with her to an old jukebox which seemed to clash, yet went so well with the ancient summer night. He pulled out a chair for her at the table, and the demons around them began to murmur. The entire bar and grill was looking at Dare and Lucy.
"Very good. Is it real to you? Then let me in, and I will take it from you and make it real."

Lucy sat down in the chair he pulled out for her and took a calming breath. Then she closed her eyes again and concentrated, allowing Dare in her mind, so he could see what she was thinking about. She tried to make sure he didn't see any of the thoughts of how she thought he was cute.
"Okay, I have let you in,"Lucy spoke.

With her words, the last of the barriers opened in her mind. He saw everything she'd ever thought, about him or otherwise. Every memory, every dream. He smiled, and made the rose garden real around them, as real as she'd seen it.
When she opened her eyes, the rose garden had replaced the greek night.

Lucy opened her eyes and smiled as she saw the beautiful garden she had had in her mind. She gently touched one of the roses, allowing the soft petals to to touch her fingers. She could feel a light breeze playing with her hair and saw a brilliant night sky above their heads.
"This is all so breath-taking and beautiful,"Lucy admitted.

He nodded, still smiling, but he hadn't glanced away from her the entire time.
The room erupted into cheering and laughter.
"Dare! You've managed to snag a demoness, eh? How'd you find one who didn't want to kill you?"
Dare sighed. He'd expected it, but he'd expected it to last longer. "Remember to give her royalties when its used. We'll be going now."

Lucy's eyes looked up from the rose she was focused on and her head whipped around to look at the others. She wondered what they meant when they said that he snagged a demoness, she was certainly not a demoness.
"What are they talking about, I am not a demoness. I am a white witch, always have been,"Lucy pointed out.

The demons all seemed to laugh as Dare gave her an exasperated look.
"Yes, yes, and they all know that now, wife."
"Wife?! DARE has gotten married?" There was more laughter now, and Dare raised an eyebrow.
"Is there a problem? I have obviously married a demoness. Witchborn and white as she might be, I have chosen her."

Lucy looked to Dart and could tell that he was getting fed up by the others laughing. She reached over and gave his shoulder a squeeze, letting him know that they were just being stupid.
"They are just jealous, that's all. They tease because none of them can get a girl to come close to them,"Lucy comforted.

He gave her a surprised look, then smiled. "If you want your constructs, she'll be at my house for eternity."
He raised an eyebrow at a watching familiar. "We'll have two tea lunches, to suit this beautiful new rose garden."
He winked at Lucy and they both wore Victorian age clothing. Lucy was once again a princess. He patted her hand. "How do you take your tea, Princess?"

Lucy looked down at herself and blushed at the beautiful outfit she was in, before turning back to Dare.
"I prefer my tea with a little bit of lemon, please. It adds a little tang to the drink, I believe,"Lucy answered. She didn't know why she was feeling so calm, but she was.

The rest of the restaurant customers had also changed with the shift, even the familiars, who were acting as waitstaff.
He watched her, wondering quizzically if she'd been listening, the way she was acting.

Lucy saw Dare looking at her and she gave him a quizzical look, wondering what was wrong.
"Is there any particular reason you are looking at me the way I did. I was defending you because it isn't nice for others to tease you, no matter what you are,"Lucy explained. She still wondered what they meant about her being a demoness, it still puzzled her.

"No matter what I am, eh? You are the same as I, you know. Only a demoness can make a construct, and only a demon can make it reality."
