 Berwald Oxenstierna The Silent Junior "Det är inget skämt." Berwald would never joke about a friend's serious condition "I.... I don't know 'f 'll th' d'tails, but... 't may have somethin' t' do 'bout what happened last night." he tried to keep his explanation as brief as possible "A few nights 'go, there were some mysterious d'sappearances, turns out monst'rs were th' cause. Lukas 'nd a group of stud'nts went out to 'nvestigate. Lukas and 'nother student were fightin' a very pow'rful monst'r. they managed t' d'feat 't, but somehow 'ts blood ent'red their bodies through their wounds. We think that's why his blood 's black. 'ts been causing him 'xcrutiating pain." 'lo there, let's be friends....

 The Finn's eyes widened as his expression went through a rapid series of confusion, disbelief and horror at what he was being told. Tino gave his head a small shake to clear it and his eyes settled solemnly on the sleeping Norwegian again. "Monsters... Other than a few scarce rumors there haven't been any real monsters in hundreds of years..." he said softly. If anyone else had told him he wouldn't have believed it, but Tino knew Berwald would never make up something so serious.
"Do we know what kind of monster it was?" Tino asked as he resolved himself to the very real danger of Lukas being infected by something magical and beyond the realms of medical science. "Maybe the library would have an old book about local legends? There could be some hints to a cure." It wasn't much and it was probably a little too optimistic to honestly hope for, but he hated the thought of doing nothing while his friend suffered.

Berwald Oxenstierna The Silent Junior What kind of monster? Well, Lukas did say who did this... "He said 't was a giant black wolf by th' name 'f Fenrir..." By the expression in Tino's face, he probably thinks he's contagious. He shook his head "This 'snt some kind 'f disease. Ev'n th' doct'r didn't suspect a thin'. This seems t' be more like... like a curse... There's anoth'r student who's sufferin' from th' black blood. Howev'r, she doesn't seem t' be 'n pain or 'nything." 'lo there, let's be friends....

"A curse... You don't think the library would have a book about curses, do you?" Tino asked uncertainly. Surely they wouldn't have something so dangerous at a school of all places. Then again, Romulus was the principal so anything was possible. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to try but... The name Fenrir does sound familiar, doesn't it? I think there was a monster named Fenrir in one of Peter's video games..."
"Ah!" Finland gasped and shook his head at himself for thinking of video games at a time like this. He needed to focus. "In any case, I think it would be good to do some research when we can. Hopefully we can figure it out before that poor girl winds up like Lukas."
They needed to do something to help save their friend even if it was a bit of a long shot.

Th' one who's 'lways carryin' a laptop. he might be able t' help us find th' book we need without readin' 'very single one." 'lo there, let's be friends....

"You mean Eduard?" The Finn mused thoughtfully for a moment before his expression brightened. In his enthusiasm he gave the taller Nordic a hug. "That's a great idea, Su-san!" he praised cheerfully. "Eduard would definitely be able to find it. With his help we can save Lukas. I just know it!"
Tino released Berwald so he could send out a text to his dear friend. He could only hope that Eduard wasn't busy at the moment. The text to Estonia read:
"I need your help. This will sound weird, but I need to find a book about how to cure curses. Something about a monster called Fenrir, too. Can you help me? It's VERY important!" ((I don't know where Estonia is in the RP right now, but since you play him I figured I'd just post it here.))

♱The Only One That's Not Stupid♱ Lukas shifted on his side. He couldn't feel the pain so much, but it was slowly creeping back into his system. He winced a little, but it soon went away and he was back to just a normal sleep. {{OoC}}

Eduard was in his dorm, he was busy examining the wings he extracted last night. he heard the sound of his cell phone ring. A text? Was it from Raivis? he opened his cell and read the message. The number was from Tino. He texted back
"Ah, Tino. Welcome back. How as your trip? Hm? A book on curses? Well, there's nothing like that in school library. Not even in the fiction section. As for Fenrir... You mean the wolf we fought last night? What of it? he's dead. There isn't anything about a monster with that name. However, in Norse mythology, there was a wolf by the name of Fenrir, who was a servant to the gods, but I doubt they're related."

Tino's expression fell as he read the text. "The library doesn't have anything on curses..." he said unhappily. "Oh, but it looks like he already knows about the monsters. That makes things a little easier." He looked over at Lukas when the Norwegian moved and waited until he seemed at peace again before returning his attention to texting Eduard.
"Thanks. My trip went better than expected but it was very stressful. I'm glad to be back. Did the Norse Fenrir ever turn someone's blood black? Have you ever heard of a monster or curse connected to black blood?"

"I'm glad to hear that. And of course not! The Norse Fenrir was a loyal creature who would smite the wicked in the name of the gods. And I'm afraid not. This is a bit new. I've did some research. I only find links to blood disorders but no black blood. By the way, is someone cursed?"

Tino sighed and hung his head. If someone as smart as Eduard couldn't find any information then what was he going to do? He didn't want to even consider defeat or giving up with his friend and others in danger, but this was not going to be easy.
"Berwald, is it ok to tell Eduard about Lukas?" the Finn asked. "I don't know if it will help or not, but I feel like I owe him an explanation for helping us."

They had to keep them to themselves, otherwise, the whole school will know, and people will start jumping to conclusions "Not now... We can't tell 'll our friends...." 'lo there, let's be friends....

"That's true. I'm sure Eduard will understand," Tino agreed as he texted his friend.
"I was just worried after Berwald told me about what I missed. If that monster wasn't the Norse Fenrir, then what do you think it was? It's pretty freaky."

"Thanks anyway," Tino texted. "I'll see you in class tomorrow."
The Finn sighed heavily. "Eduard couldn't find anything..." he said as he looked up at Berwald with a worried, almost helpless expression. The Estonian had been his best bet on finding a cure or something about Lukas' condition. Now he wasn't sure what they would do. "Curses can just get better on their own, can't they?" he asked with no confidence but he was trying to remain optimistic. "Maybe we're over thinking it and it is just a rare blood condition..."
Tino obviously didn't believe himself when he said that.
