She nodded and got up looking back at the ballroom. "Will you stay with me," she said quietly. "For the ball, I mean." She blushed.

"I'll stay as long you want me around" Caiden smiled and wrapped his right arm around her waist and led her back to the ball, but before he stole a kiss from her.

Molly blushed following him into the ballroom. Instantly her eyes found Marcus, and he met her eyes and smiled coming toward them. Molly grabbed onto Caiden's jacket in fear.

Marcus nodded back to the well known prince, but his gaze was on the girl next to him. "Molly?" he said softly looking at her worriedly. "Is everything alright?" he made a move to touch her, but she flinched back into Caiden. Marcus see this and frowned dropping his hand. "D-did i do something wrong?" he asked worried again.

Caiden glared at Marcus "Don't touch her, she's scared of you. Marcus" he pulled her closed "Its okay, I won't let any happen to you" he whispered in Molly's ear.

Molly nodded hiding her face against him. Marcus stiffened at the sight of them together. His eyes cut to molly and he bowed his head at her. "Forgive me if I did anything, Molly." He looked over to Caiden. "Prince," he sneered walking over.

"Yes, Marcus" Caiden smiled "Sad that she didn't go to you? Sad that she ran to me?" he kissed the top of Molly's head "She deserves to be loved not scared"

Marcus paused, then started back across the room away from them. Molly shuddered hiding in Caiden's side and hung onto him. "Thank you," she whispered frightfully.

"No, he's from a kingdom that hated. No one likes them, we invite them to balls because proper too." Caiden shook his head and bent his head down and kissed her.

Molly blushed but closed her eyes and gently kissed him back. She didn't remember anything, but it felt so right, kissing him, being here with him like this.
