Cass had really been wishing for a pocket or a bag of some sort at the point when Marcus had walked up. She had two things to carry, two hands, and now needed a place to put all her stuff. However, she looked up when she saw the familiar shape of the red dragon golem. It seemed that he had gone after her. Come after her. Whatever the proper grammar of it all was.
"I may have...." she answered, smiling a bit in an attempt to look sly.
However, when she watched how easily Marcus was able to snag himself one of the small orb-like fish-egg things she couldn't help but feel jealous. She'd been caught twice and he just...did it without a problem! Clearly she'd have to learn her 'steal s**t from people' skills a bit better. Go pick-pocketing amongst the creepers or something.
She leaned in when he spoke, looking at the two figures the dragon motioned to, before nodding a bit.
"Yeah....." she agreed, shying away from the booth to look less...suspiciously looming over it.If she was caught there again she may have gotten in trouble.

Grabbing the incubus golem's hand..well it was odd, but in just knowing it was Cass in there...it was comforting. "Sorry" He gave a weak smile, wishing he could have- well...

Gale had spent half of his time at the festival so far attempting to figure out just what the hell was going and the other half of his time staring in mixed horror and awe at what sort of...things this Halloween place was filled with. So far he had seen a winged boil with what looked like a lion's tail talking to a boil with turquoise hair and dark greenish blue horns protruding from his head, as well as a ghoul with a fluffy red tail that resembled a wolf's, or maybe some sort of dog's. She didn't have ears, though, so he wasn't entirely sure what she was.
Since he had lost track of Bix, now he stood beside a fish tank. Gale had been surreptitiously watching a few of the other hunters make their attempts at stealing the little blobby fish eggs, and now he was determined to try it. So he stepped over once the rest had gone off in their own directions, and pushing icy blue hair away from his face (man girls had such long hair), Gale took a chance and pushed his hand into the water.
And success! His fingers closed around something slimy and wet, and with a triumphant smile Gale pulled out a tiny little blue egg. It seemed...well, pathetic, but this was what his boss wanted after all. Carefully he tucked it into his pocket and patted it, hoping it would be safe there.

Leon came back with the new shiny seed he won from the balloon popping booth. He already botched up the first attempt by yelling at Nid during the theft. like a true idiot.
Yep, total idiot.
He didn't bother to react to that snarky comment as he did his best to compact the tall vampire body to the ground in order to sneak up on the booth and its tank. it did sort of feel out of character, seeing as he had to be some graceful, creepy looking guy and he felt like nothing more than a creeper.
But it was for the fish. FOR THE MISSION. He continued to sneak his way up to the booth and snaked a long pale hand into the tank, and gasped a hold of one of the orbs and backed away from the pale light of the lantern. It was a strange little object, like a giant pearl but a mute looking blue,but it was an egg like thing. he placed it into his vest's hood gingerly and gave a sigh, "One down, one to go eh?" he muttered quietly.
bravo bloodbag, let's see how the next one goes. it rumbled back in a sarcastic tone, he was probably just grumpy cuz he didn't linger around the food stalls yet. "Lets go have a bite and come back." he said out loud, enjoying the double meaning, and for once, Nidhogg didn't have something witty to say back.

The tank appeared to be unguarded. Jordan paused on the way past, debating with himself. Aria hadn't specified how they had to get a minipet; swiping one was just as valid a method, as long as he came away with an egg, right?
He took a quick detour over towards the tank. It was the work of barely a moment to scoop one of the yellowish eggs out and stuff it into his pocket.

Maybe he could get another. It couldn't hurt to try; if anyone had failed to acquire a minipet within the time limit, having an extra would be a good thing. The egg Jordan scooped up this time was one of the bluish ones. A variety to study could be good.
He decided not to push his luck, and slipped away with two eggs carefully concealed in the pocket of his skirts.

It seemed the only luck he had recently was with this stealing fish booth, so he figured it wouldn't hurt to try again. It seemed that the pair running it was a little more attentive this time...which was cool, he could still try, there was no harm in that. Only...
Whoops, busted! Jeremy was spotted before he could even try, but he did lose one of his recently pilfered seeds in the fray.

...Okay, who was he kidding. He never learned. The lost seed seemed to distract the creature long enough for Jeremy to return moments after his 'flee', scooping up a red fish egg before he whistled away.

Calder was humming along, hand in hand with Cade, as they made their way back to the booth. Smiling, he looked to his close friend from the corner of his eyes. They have nuzzled plenty of times today. Were things getting serious? Could he........ask Cade if he wanted to....go out? It didn't look like the boil had someone to call his own or else he would be hanging with them during the festival, and all the signs he was giving him just said that he wanted to be close. He certainly wasn't shoving Calder away and being insulted by all the affection he was giving.
That's it. He'd ask Cade out!
Feeling a quickened beat in his heart, he stopped a little ways from the tank. "You ready to try again?" He had no idea if Cade had a seed or not. Wasn't hat something boilfriend was supposed to do. "Oh, do you need a seed?"

Roch had been on his best behavior. All. Jacking. Semester. It was driving him insane. He hadn't stolen JACK in months, and he was positive that he was going to lose his talent at any moment.
Which was why he found himself watching the unguarded fish tank. It was just a fish egg, right? With that thought he slipped closer, his hands in his pockets, pretending to watch the things on the tables around him, or maybe the people walking past.
A little closer. He was standing next to the tank--and there. He slipped his hand in--
Grabbed an egg, and casually walked away, slipping the egg into his pocket without a word. Okay, maybe he hadn't lost it just yet.

Petra had found a few more seeds as she had been wandering around the festival, something she had considered using at one of the other booths, but decided not to. Why did she decide not to? Because she thought the idea of using them as a distraction if she got caught stealing those little fish-eggs to be an infinitely better use of the shiny little things.
Unfortunately, she ended up having to use the first one right off the bat. Damn, she needed to be more careful.

Candace was trying very hard not to cringe and try to gnaw her hand off like a trapped wild coyote, allowing Calder to hold her hand with very little protest. Her flicking ears were..excitement! Yes. Totally. Just nothing but excitement. "Yeah, I'll try just..one more time." She grinned as Calder offered her a seed, holding up one with a wink. "Nope! I got one~!"
She'd picked it off a random passerby on their way here.
She was caught pretty quickly and cursed, throwing the seed and trotting back to Calder. Stupid locals. Candace sighed and put her hands on her hips. "Alriiiiight. I think I'm done." She sighed.

Petra noticed Candace talking to the horse boy not too far away, offering 'him' a nod of her head before she crept forward again, seed in hand, ready to chuck it at the two 'guards' if they should see her again. This time, however, she crept all the more slowly, careful to go completely still with the slightest movement before snatching another egg, this time a pale blue one that she thought was quite aesthetically pleasing, despite how it was a Halloween thing and therefore was evil incarnate. It had occurred to her that perhaps the creatures were innocent, considering they were like any other animal, but she tried to dismiss this thought, finding that if she thought about THAT she would never give it up to the Hunters for death. Despite her hard exterior, she could be very sensitive at times, really.
Gently dropping the egg into the jar with the other, she picked up her spoils, heading away from the booth to find another -- this one was kind of like gambling, it was getting far too addictive.

Calder watched, cheering Cade on until he was spotted. OH DEAR!! Calder nearly had a heart attack at the idea of Cade getting thrown down and maybe even beaten up like he had been. The very idea chilled him with fear and angered him to think that ANYONE might go after his darling and try and hurt him. If that happened, so help him, he would be on those tank watchers like green on moss! Luckily, his beloved was fast, what with those delicious legs of his, but came back defeated. Ohh, he looked defeated. He wished he could make it better.
Wait.
HE COULD! He still had that...surprise, and well, now seemed as good as any. It was getting late, and he was sure it would just perk his darling up as right as rain!
"Don't worry about those stingy slugs." He waved in the game booth's direction with distaste. Smiling, he curled his arm around Cade and smiled. "I was going to wait, but I have a surprise for you that I'm sure you'll like. Come, I left it someplace safe." He started to escort Cade away, excited at what he would present him.
