Aislin had eventually wended her way back over to the first place she'd stopped at. Why wouldn't she? There were tables to be flipped and she'd needed a break from spending all her floresctival seeds on games. She noticed a few new faces in the area as she came over. Actually no one over there was really recognizable, except perhaps the little fairy whom she remembered had been Cat's date at the Prom.

She decided to break the ice the only way she knew how. Impress them with some table flipping. And being loud. The ghostling gripped the edge of a table, bent her knees, and promptly flipped her table as high and far as she could manage. As it soared she couldn't help but let loose a shriek of laughter, hands coming together.

It flew up through the air majestically, revolving an impressive number of times before crashing to the grass in a splintered mess. There. Now if that wasn't impressive she didn't know what would be.

Robert frowned as every move he threw came back at him full force without so much as a blush. Super-fail. Not to mention, she seemed a little insulted. His shoulders slumped, and he dropped down to a seated position once more.

"Damn, I'm sorry. I don't like it either. I didn't mean it like that, but - you know, it's fine. I ******** up. It was nice to meet you Astra."

He was giving her an out, because he'd messed up the conversation enough. And with the only other short person he'd seen so far, too! That couldn't have been worse luck.

A voice that he hadn't heard for the entire festival finally jutted in, whispering only to him - and only when he was at his lowest point. As usual.

You're going to fail this mission, and they're going to put you back in the pod forever. Maybe, if you're nice, you can request to be put next to Roberta. If she's still alive, that is.

He resisted the urge to scream obscenities at the voice of his weapon in his mind - but only just barely. As it was, he looked very uncomfortable - and just a tad bit hurt.

She always knew exactly when to make her presence known.

Someone was flipping tables nearby. He barely lifted his head to watch the wood crashing into one another, and sighed.

Robert was definitely not looking at Astra anymore, but he hadn't yet progressed to the stage where he felt the need to walk off. When she stopped him from even considering it, he turned back to her and his expression was awash with confusion.

"I know you're not mad, sugar. I shouldn't have called you little. I mean, I wasn't actually calling you little - little lady's just a term of endearment. But still, all things considered, if someone came up to me and said little guy.." He shrugged, chuckling weakly. "I get it. I'd be pissed. Believe me, I understand."

He hadn't had much time in this body, but every second he'd spent in it had been some sort of fight for survival, just from walking in a crowd. Being small in a crowd was an eye-opening experience. Usually, he was the one pushing others out of the way.

"Anyway, I ain't going nowhere. These are my friends here, you see." He gestured with his head to the two sitting on the next table, chatting. They were an odd looking crew. "But I won't bug you anymore, either. So, you know. You don't have to worry none."

He gave the ghoul a weak, half-smile, and winked, before turning back to watch the table flipping with a melancholy air.

Since he had been watching the table flipping, he had watched the ghoul doing the flipping as she turned to head towards him. His head turned slowly to one side, taking her in.

She was in nothing but her skivvies. And somehow, that would be a little more scandalous, except she was also kind of.. sort of.. wispy.

That there was a half-naked ghost Robert was staring at.

There were worse jobs in this world than the one he'd stumbled into so accidentally, he suddenly decided.

She said hello, without moving her mouth, and Robert watched in silent and obvious awe. He wanted to reach out and poke the little wisps of air coming from the hole in her neck - was she a smoker? Was that how she died? Was she one of those people who had to use a vibrator on their neck to talk until she finally croaked from lung cancer like in the anti-smoking campaign?

Man, those commercials were ******** depressing.

It took him way too long to realize he was just staring, and not actually saying anything. His entire body shook with a snap, and ducked his head instinctively - somehow, being patted didn't feel very emasculating.

"Yeah. I'm new. I MEAN I'M VISITING. I'm new .. and visiting." Robert should not be left alone on his first day on the job. Send help.

"Nice to meet you, Ash. I uh, I like your.." What could he even call her outfit? He gestured with his hand gruffly, and finally settled on.. "All that."

So smooth.

Yeah, he didn't think he had a chance in hell at flipping one of these tables, either. Although, deep down, the real Robert inside would have killed to do a little damage. He took a deep sigh in, and eyed the fairy beside him. She hadn't left yet - he'd been so sure he'd insulted her enough that she'd want nothing to do with him, but there she was.

And she was looking at the tables, too. Probably thinking the same thing he was..

"Well, maybe if me and my girl Astra here worked together, we might be able to get one of 'em." He reached over and lightly tapped his fist against her chin - very lightly, in fact. "Right, Astra?"

Aislin's smile grew a little bit, looking down at herself. She cocked a hip, setting her hand on one as she struck a simple pose. At least this Undead had some taste. "Thanks!" She paused as she looked between fairy and the gnome.

"Okay well uhm. What was your name?" She pointed towards the gnome. "Since you're smaller maybe if you sat on...er. What was your name?" This time she was talking towards the Fairy Reaper. "If you sat on her shoulders you could reach and then you could flip!"

There! What a solution!

"Oh, It's Astra" She replied to Ash. "And...um..sure, that could work..I think" It all depended on weather she could support the gnomes weight while he was flipping the table. Her thoughts where interrupted when Robert had suddenly jumped of the table and ended up rolling.

Normaly this wouldn't be a problem for Astra. She had wings, so any great fall she could slow down or stop with their aid. But he didn't have that advantage, so she quickly hopped off the table to go and assist him. "Ah! Are you alright?" She asked with concern in her voice, pausing the contemplate what a elephant was. Was it some kind of monster? I sounded like one...

Once robert had kicked one of the tables, Astra paused in thought, antenna moving about of their own accord. She looked at the flipped table, nodded to herself, then hovered over to it. "Okay, I'll pull one leg, then you pull the other, okay?" It sounded like the most logical thing to do.

She focused on her target, taking hold of the wooden leg and began to ull as hard as she could to try and get it to move. "grrr...mmmm.grrr!" Her face was beginning to go red with strain, and her wings were humming as they moved faster to compensate. The table began to move...but only a little bit. She then took to trying to push it back over instead of pulling it.
