((Hallway))
“Good Evening...” came a rather screechy sounding voice beside her. Edel hadn't noticed that the strix she had seen earlier had made his way across the hall to stand beside her. “Good Evening to you too....” But before she could reply any further, Edel had her hand taken and received a kiss on it. She was caught a little by surprise by his gesture, but returned it with a smile, a bow and her greeting “and I'm Edelweiss, it's a pleasure to meet you Ulmuka.”

Oh, and it seems he was a prospective student too!
“Neither am I actually,” she continued, “but I do look forward to enrolling into the esteemed Academy too.” She paused. Was she missing something? Oh yes. “I do agree with you on the haunted house, it does feel rather tame. Though I must admit, the decor is rather abhorrent...” And as if it were on cue, stuffed animals began to rain down from the ceiling.

Flushing slightly, Edel slowly made her way out of the pile of fluff and spotted the were lemur advancing towards the pile of wreckage. “It's a pleasure to meet you Natalia, my name is Edelweiss,” she responded while pulling off the last stuff toy off her and dropping it on the ground. How improper and impolite of her she realised, quickly offering an apology for her behaviour and straightened herself out. “Yes I do believe it would do some good to be more careful from now on” she continued, still feeling a little embarrassed about the scene earlier.

More people started to filter through the hallway, and Ulmuka and Natalia seemed to be engaged in conversation. Edel looked around quietly, trying to spot for any more booby traps she should avoid. Just when she was convinced the way was clear, a loud voice erupted through the hallway following the emergence of what seemed to be a .....GIANT BUNNY? A very disturbing bunny.

Kittens began to pour in from the sides of the walls, and the place was filled with an orchestra of meowing. The bunny seemed very pleased and a look of desire filled her face. So they were supposed to catch the kittens and hand them over to the giant bunny. The hallway was sent into a frenzy, with everyone trying to scoop up the kittens that ran amok ..... but Edel, oh Edel was enjoying this a little too much. She wasn't up to chasing after the critters in the hall, so she crouched beside the pile of stuffed toys and watched the scene unfold before her eyes.

And then, explosion.
Edel coughed and waved the glitter and confetti falling aside. The scene cleared.... and giant bunny and kittens were gone in a puff of sparkles!This was a night she'll never forget.

The rest of the people were starting to recover into groups, and Edel too got back up on her feet and made her way to Natalia and Ulmuka. The glitter was still sticking on her, but she decided to ignore it for the time being. “Are you two all right?” she asked, picking off some of the confetti that had fallen on the were lemur's head. She felt a little guilty for not helping out with the kitten herding, but --

“Shall we....continue?” she asked, clearly unfazed by what had just happened. People might think her daft for suggesting such.

"Defiantly! If we believe in him I'm sure he'll be fine" Poke said after the Baku ghoul, offering a reassuring smile towards her and Mitsu. And instead of getting up and moving on like she said,she opted to stay there and wait for shun just a little longer. It did seem unfair to just walk off straight away just encase he did happen to come back up, plus she didn't want to just ditch him even if she didn't know him.

And sure enough, after a few minutes the ball pit seemed to jingle uncontrollably and then pop into thin air, revealing the people whom had been sucked down.

"There he is!" Poke pointed towards shun then waved to him as he came over. "Glad to see you're alright!"

((Hallway))

She was brushing herself off still, becoming more and more determined to rid of the glitter that stuck to her hair, her skin, and her clothes alike...when their group came together with a proposal to move forward. Eagerly the monster nodded her head, sparkles being tossed with the motion, while her lips loosened to confirm her agreement. "Yeah...let's get the heck out of here." While a single foot moved her torso forward by a few inches, a pause and quick turn around kept the ghoul in her place for a moment. "Ulmuka...Edelwe--wei--uhm, would it be alright to give you guys nicknames? I think it might be easier for me to call out for you guys if...well...if something else happens in this house." A questioning smile filled her face quickly, but was turned south when something caught her attention just behind them.

Natalia did not have exceptional hearing. It was good enough for conversation and overhearing gossip, but that was about it. So for the monster to jump and scamper toward the Ulmuka, Edelweiss, and Vero in an attempt to hide behind them from a loud THUMP against the ceiling--well that was saying something about just how AWFULLY TERRIFIYINGLY LOUD the noise was.

Natalia was not accustomed to being so easily frightened. While certainly a flamboyant exaggerator prone to flailing her arms in the air just to get a crowd riled up, the ghoul was just not the student to try and spook, as it would often be a difficult feat to accomplish. However, this house...no, more specifically this SCHOOL had changed her indefinitely. She no longer could contain her emotions as was once a common habit preformed mindlessly. It was frustrating to be aware of such differences. At times she wondered why she had even enrolled in this jack forsaken academy...

...Well she was learning a thing or two, that much could be said.

As the noise came their way like a stampede of wild animals, and then silenced without even the slightest echo to recollect upon, Natalia shuttered and came in close to the strix, looking around the room before daring to stare down the path they had come through. "...you guys I really want to get out of here..." She murmured, voice tiny and frail--very similar to the way her body hunkered over and appeared to be. A quick glance toward the ground where Vero stood prompted Natalia to extend a hand his way, taking the...leg...things that the bug boil offered as she tugged at Muka's shirt to lead on.

((Hallway))

Edel watched quietly as a visibly upset Ulmuka removed his vest to shake off all the glitter and confetti on him. She felt a little sorry for the charming strix – he clearly wasn't having a lot of fun in the haunted house. While she initially hadn't been too affected by the assault of sparkles on her appearance, his reaction prompted her to comb out the bits of confetti caught in her hair. Ah, and her dress was in a mess too, but she decided that she'd deal with that afterwards. Natalia too seemed to be less than pleased with the shower of sparkles as she unceremoniously dusted herself off.

“Oh, you may call me Edel for short,” she said sheepishly, answering the were lemur's request. She felt a little silly for not mentioning this earlier, after all her full name was a little....poncy.

Edel accepted Ulmuka's gracious offer and took his arm, uttering a kind “Thank you”. She was glad that the strix seemed willing to continue with this ordeal, for she was pretty excited to get going again and find out what more the place had in store. “We'll get through this together,” she assured Natalia, offering her a pat on the shoulders. Edel felt a little odd for feeling so....unaffected, and she wondered if she was being strange for finding the experience mildly enjoyable thus far. It seemed that another student had joined the group, someone Natalia was familiar with.

Anyhow, now that they were starting to stick together things shouldn't look so bad!

Damien was glad to have the extra company, even if they were glitter covered arms touching him, spreading more glitter back onto his body. oh fun. as he made sure to keep his arms around LW and Riley for security of course.

What made him feel so much better about the whole ordeal was the clearly grumpy Were-tiger covered head to toe in the stuff. "You look so sparkly kitten." he practically purred out in humor, giving the boil a playful jarring with his elbow.

But the undead boil that mused about glitter removal was more interesting that anything else. "Indeed tell us, I don't want to practically be peeing the stuff out later."

((Hallway))

She felt herself relaxing just a little, the kitten horror behind them. Though the jackdamned glitter still covering them all was a nuisance. Very annoying. And made her feel unclean. Oh Jack did she want to get it all off! The she-wolf sneezed and gratefully stuck close to the hound (who seemed to have a good hold on her on his own). Close enough to the safety of a pack, right? Right. LW couldn't help but brush at her arms in a half-assed attempt to get the sparkly smelly..."I don't want to be this Jack damned sparkly! Like a damn disco ball."

Hearing the playful jest Demi gave Faint, LW looked back at the were-tiger boil. Yep. He was pretty sparkle-tastic. A glance to the other side of Demi. Riley was looking pretty shiny as well. Wait...what had the one undead boil said (didn't she know that boil too)? Something about getting the glitter off? The she-wolf gave him her attention. "Please do share!" She squeaked and then choked on a laugh hearing Demi.

[ The Stairway ]

Van had been nearly unconscious for most of it, but when the bells seemed to chime especially violently all at once and then disappear, it jolted him awake. The smell was still there, though. It was awful. He just couldn't get it out of his nose. And to make things worse, he seemed to have tiny pink kisses all over his face and arms. He scrubbed at them furiously with his hand. What did they use to kiss him?! Wait, what was in that pit? If he had survived that, perhaps he could survive the other horrors of the Haunted House.

Cervantes, covered in smeared kisses and perpetually making a displeased face because the smell of fruits was fused with his nose, climbed out of the pit once and for all and headed back up the staircase. Didn't matter what had happened, he was not going underground. He was not much of a digger: how would he get out of something like that happened down there? No, no, he would rather be forced to scale a building than claw his way out through miles of earth. So he just took off running up the staircase, aiming for the first landing which had nearly been within his grasp.
