A few moments later, shouting could be heard from the blonde/Arthur, but not much else. He was apparently doing most of the talking.
As he continued to shout, getting more furious by the second, Julian reappeared in the tent.
"So," he sighed, staring dully at Chekondai. "Can you move or would you like help?"

Chekondai just stared at Julian.
'I robbed him of his knife. what do you think?' was clearly being thought.

Chekondai gave a grunt, standing up, keeping one hand on the wound, and walked toward Julian.

"Perhaps." Julian chuckled, forcefully grabbed Chekondai's arm to support the injured man.
"It's a sign you'll survive though. I still would like to take you to a doctor though, as I'm no medical man."

"You killed one of my officers, and I need to replace him. However, I'm growing a bit fearful of my life. I have no doubt our blonde friend wants to see me in the water, and someone else in the world wants my head for reasons I do not yet understand.
"So, I need someone to watch my back. A fierce warrior."

"But you didn't kill me, and no doubt you've had plenty of opportunity to do so, and yet I continue to live and even hold you. Which means you don't want to kill me." Julian looked at Chekondai with a confident smile, knowing he was right. But, just to be sure...
"Am I right or wrong about this?"
