On the topic of events, when are we doing the fight?

I have an idea for invites
Everybody who joins has to add astaldara as a friend. When we need to invite people, we send it to everybody on Astal's list.

yeah, itll be easy for anyone with the password to do XD. I dont know who has it other than Crow and Sovi though.

About the plot for the September event...

Could we have a good ol' fashion DnD esque plot? Okay, maybe not that cheesy of a plot, but something involving classic monsters like hydras, medusas, harpies, giants, dragons and the like.
I am a little vampire/werewolf'd out at the moments, so the whole sorcery and monsters aspect is looking pretty under developed in this guild, at least to my point of view. Ashen Blade seems to be mostly a fantasy medieval with little monsters.

Okay, refined idea.

Lets have something relating to monsters as the central focus. Battling something other than a demon swarm or vampire menace while retaining an interesting plot. Mind if I whip up a very basic idea? Out of necessity, it will involve a time vortex or planar rift of some kind to force our most beloved characters into the plot.

Ok, first real idea about a plot.

Some powerful dragon mage finds an ancient spell that can pull the life essence out of all sorts of things and imbue them into himself. Effectively, if he absorbs enough things/people, he becomes ungodly powerful and could do anything, which isn’t good because only an evil person would do that.
He experiments in life steeling have begun to tear away the fabric of reality and planes and realities are converging.
Enter the heroes.
Because of the reality convergence, they all get to meet in one place, most likely because of the malicious deeds of said evil dragon mage. Because of this, they realize they need to stop him.
In the mean time, he has been stock piling magic weapons, artifacts and all sorts of things that would have lots of energy and life in them, including powerful people. He is stockpiling them because only when he destroys a huge amount of them at once can he rip enough of the multiverse away to be absorbed absorb to become god powerful. Thus, he is gathering all he can to destroy in a nuke of super nova proportions which godifies him.
This equals bad.
So, assuming our heroes do in fact get to him, he does in fact destroy all of these things. But wait! What if our heroes absorb some of this god power too? an ultimate showdown against him as psycho powerful people? Or what if he back fires and rips a hole in the fabric of reality that lets in all sorts of twisted monsters? Then the heroes need to find a way to stop them from coming in or else everyone is screwed!
Either way, his experiments with life stealing need to cause holes in reality, which might also let in monsters or maybe make the ones already around worse.

I also have one that is much more sci-fi if you are interested in it.

So... When is the event?

Simple. As the favorites all seem to be particularly powerful, be it personality, skill or otherwise, they were targeted by said evil dragon mage's spell (they have the most “life essence“ of anyone else). He drags 'em to his realm (fire? darkness? something... interesting... gimme a bit to think on it) because he is more powerful there and knows everything about it, and it is hostile to everyone else.

No worries I'm scratching the September Event for now, though keep those idea of yours ready for a December Event Sovi. 3nodding
Since we may be going through with the GGN Expo we need all our focus put on getting it ready.
That is, if everyone agrees with going through with it.
