She bared her teeth as a low rumbling growl rolled out of her throat "Let me go!...If you won't let me go then I shall..." She said fiercely struggling to break free, she stopped and closed her eyes as a grin crept across her face she thought to her self I don't need to break free I can just shimmer away She focused on that power but nothing happened, her eyes flew open by now she was in raged that she couldn't get free something about the trees was stopping her from doing so.  Ace was giving his wings a stretch outside enjoying the wonderful breeze. His right eye then took notice of something peculiar. He stopped in the air flapping his wings to keep him steady as he saw Melody being attacked by a tree. Ace didn't have his trident with him but hoped he wouldn't need it. He swooped downwards and placed his hand on the tree. Ice extended from his hand and began to freeze the tree solid. The branches wrapped around Melody could now be easily shattered. He then removed his hand, any further damage to the tree and it would die.
"What good fortune you have that I was flying nearby" he said with a polite smile. His red hair keeping his right eye neatly covered.

She didn't think about it for long and soon a wicked grin swept over her face, her eyes looked up at Ace, Did he know what was going on with melody? maybe it wasn't known that the tree had caught her for a reason to stop her from terrorising anyone further, She chuckled deeply realising he had no idea
"But less fortunate for you...Although I may spare you since you were so nice as to letting me free from my trap..." Ace sighed a little, "You say some strange things" he mentioned.
"Are you hurt anywhere?" he asked curiously showing more concern for her than himself currently.
"I hope all the trees here aren't as friendly as that one" he stated with a chuckle of his own. He would seem to be a very friendly and kind person.

As her current state didn't phase Ace in the slightest, for the first time there was no sign of fear of her something that had never happened before not even in her past, she would strike fear in anyone she met like this nor had anyone been so friendly towards her either, did he not see the darkness that swam inside, that she had no conscience for her actions. "Ha you ask as if it really matters, I have no reason to care about that.. She said continuing to frown her dark eyes kept focused on him. Confusion swam inside of her, where was the fear, that same fear she would soak herself in that filled her with excitement. She wasn't in her kindest state and needed to be stopped before she would do more damaged. She growled in disappointment and went to rush over to him, but before she got near him Roots from the ground shot up at her caging her inside of them, again she was trapped.  LAIA Every flower... Laia had been flying past the forest when the land cried out to her. She stopped and listened for a moment before darting off to where the trees had told her the two people were, arriving as the female became trapped once more. Melody? She had seen the woman briefly at the ball, but from what the plants told her something was wrong, Melody was not herself today and quite dangerous as well. Her eyes narrowed when they fell upon the male and her blood began to boil. How dare he do such a thing, he had nearly killed the tree, one that had been perfectly healthy, and it was young compared to most of the others here as well. She landed lightly in front of the cage that had been formed around Melody, ready to stop the male from releasing her again as well as to keep him from harming the plants further.
Laia glanced briefly at Melody before turning her glare to the male. "They do not attack unless there is a threat or unless they are harmed first." The fairy pointed a finger behind her toward the caged woman. "She is a danger to everyone right now. I would suggest you do not try to attack my friends again or free her, lest you incur their wrath and mine." There was an edge in her voice as she spoke, making it abundantly clear that she was angry. The female had no idea that Ace was a Master but it didn't matter, she was furious that he would harm the forest, even more so because it was only trying to protect them. ...is an educated weed. -{OoC}-

Ace turned to Melody still confused by her attitude when he was taken aback by the sudden cage that formed around Melody. He placed his hand on the cage about to free her again when Laia flew down and warned him.
"Sorry?" he said seemingly confused about the situation.
"I didn't want to kill the tree of course, but even if this person is a danger what right do you have to keep them locked away? It is in certain times that people who have lost their way simply need to find the right path again" he stated speaking of experience. Though most anyone could tell despite he was very young. The young male appeared to be about 18 or so but in reality he was only 28. The small fangs protruded from his mouth as he spoke giving subtle hints to his identity along with the ice blue dragon wings attached to his back.
"If you don't mind me asking, who exactly are you anyway?" he asked maintaining a very gentle and kind voice.
Edit: Ace then noticed the forest itself began to cage him as well. He moved and laid his hand against the branches of his cage, "I see, this forest is very much alive. I mean no harm to you." he said speaking kindly as he rubbed the branches hoping they would understand him.

'what right do we have to keep them locked up?...'
A sly grin appeared on her face as she leaned to the edge of the cage "You should listen to him...I simply need to find...the right path..." LAIA Every flower... Laia continued to glare at the man. If he hadn't wanted to kill it he shouldn't have done what he did, he should have found out what was going on first. "What right do I have? What right did you have to do such a thing to my friend?! For your information, I do not control the forest. I speak for it because you clearly can't hear their voices no matter how loud they scream. Not everyone who loses their way can find the right path again." She turned her glare on Melody at the woman's words, far too angry to be frightened right now. "You may remain in there until you find the right path." Her eyes shifted to Ace when he asked who she was. "Why should I tell you when you haven't even given me your own name?" She felt the earth begin to move slightly and then saw that the forest had begun to form a cage around the male. "Yes, it is. How do we know you won't try to free her again?" ...is an educated weed. -{OoC}-

Oh?" he began to say, "I apologize for being rude, my name is Ace Nightwalker. It is... nice to meet you?" he said not sure if Laia was a friend or enemy. The branches soon began to release their hold having had Ace apologize to them.
"I apologize that I did not understand the forest. I cannot hear as others hear. But I can often see what others cannot" he said speaking a little in riddles.
"I mean no harm to the forest, I thought this person was wrongly imprisoned and set out to free them. I could sense some ill-intent but it was not long ago before I was like that person, in fact, I think I might've been much, much worse" he stated looking a little gloomy from the memory.
He perked up and smiled, "But, it seems as though this was a big misunderstanding" he said.
"Oh? And I would like to clarify a few things for my own mental well-being, could you tell me exactly what happened?" he asked curious as to what happened between Melody and Laia.

She was loosing patience in this cage slamming her hands against its walls "Let me out!...I don't need the right path..." She roared.
Snarling she tried time and time again to get free, she was restless, but slowly her attempts were slowing down, it seemed as though the plants them selves were having some kind of effect on her, making her drowsy, till she stopped to sit down and lean against the wall of the cage, she couldn't use her powers or break free. Was the plants themselves in fact trying to bring her back out of her power reserve? trying to bring back her conscience?

LAIA Every flower... The fairy kept her eyes on the male as he introduced himself. "My name is Laia. I would say it's a pleasure, but..." Laia shrugged her shoulders. "Perhaps under different circumstances." It came as no surprise that he could not understand the forest, most could not hear plants as she did. "Most cannot understand the plants when they speak, but you did not even attempt to find out why she was imprisoned, you simply froze the tree to the point where it became as brittle glass." She wondered, briefly what he meant when he said he could see what others could not but didn't bother to ask. She didn't really care about how he had been in the past, Laia was more concerned about what Melody could do now.
"Yes, a misunderstanding." She said, though she didn't sound totally convinced. Laia tilted her head momentarily as though she was listening to someone speak. "So far she has terrorized a nearby village as well as a shop worker in the marketplace." Melody's outburst surprised the woman but she stood her ground. She watched as the other female slowed in her attempts, eventually sitting down and leaning against the cage wall. The plants were doing something, Laia could feel it, but she wasn't exactly sure what it was they were doing. ...is an educated weed. -{OoC}-

"I see... That is rather troublesome" he said.
"Well it is nice to meet you Laia, I apologize that it isn't under better circumstances. I didn't think the trees were protective in nature. I have seen some odd magic in my short lifetime" he said. He turned towards Laia and even approached her cautiously. He wanted to open his right eye and really check her out but thought that it might cause her to be hostile.
"I was just on my way back to the mansion. I hope my girls aren't worried about me" he said over thinking a little.
"Oh before I just up and leave is there anything i can do to make amends for the trouble I have caused?" he asked.

"...What have I done...." She said as her voice trembled, she looked up towards Laia and Ace knowing that they were aware of what she did that very day, She wanted to run but was froze by her emotions, not knowing if anyone could forgive her actions, not knowing if anyone who knew of her actual past could even forgive her for that. She looked to the ground again as thoughts flooded her mind
What have I done...The market place...The Village...My old home...the name I was given...the screams...the faces...
With her final thought her eyelids flickered as she collapsed to the ground blacking out.

LAIA Every flower... Laia arched one eyebrow at Ace when he said that he didn't know trees were protective. "It's only natural to be protective of one's home, isn't it? Not everything is magic you know. Nature is just as alive as you and me." She was not saying there was not some form of magic at work, just suggesting he open his mind to other possibilities. Her emerald eyes traced his every movement as the male approached.
At the mention of 'his girls' Laia wasn't sure what to think, did he actually have daughters here or was he a Master and they his pets? She couldn't imagine him meaning in a romantic way, Risa didn't seem the type to let a playboy in so he could fool around. She shook her head at his question. "No, nothing at the moment. Just go and return to your girls, I suppose. I can deal with this for now." She said with a wave of dismissal, turning her attention back to Melody.
Only a moment later and Melody's demeanor began to change, the woman fell forward and dug her nails into the earth. Something which produced a glare from the fairy, not that Melody could see it, at least her act hadn't been intentional like Ace's though. The cage retreated as the roots made their way back home. The blue eyed female looked up, her eyes giving away what she felt, before she passed out. Maybe I should take her to Risa... Laia thought as she moved to pick Melody up. At the very least she could take the woman back to her own room until something could be done. ...is an educated weed. -{OoC}-
