Victoria Collins had a wide grin on her face as she watched the kids milling around the parking lot. She liked children, they reminded her of home and her younger siblings. Of course they could be annoying and she constantly had to check herself around them to make sure she wasn’t saying anything inappropriate, but that wasn’t so hard to do.
After a moment of looking at the kids she tilted her head back looking up into the face of Blake Allison, her grin becoming wicked. She knew she had tricked him into coming with her, choosing an opportune moment to ask and promising him that there really wouldn’t be that many children. She didn’t feel so bad though, she could make it up to him with sexual favours and he’d forgive her quick enough.
The sound of the megaphone distracted her from the hotness that was behind her and she glanced for its source. It was one of the adults instructing them to introduce themselves. She was going to go ahead and make her introduction first, but then she was being nudged. A surprised look crossed her face, honestly she didn’t think Blake would even bother, and she moved out of his way, letting her fingertips brush against his knee as she did. It was as close to an intimate touch as he was going to get surrounded by a bunch of kids.
She couldn’t help but smile as he introduced himself and when he was finished she took the opportunity to do the same. ”Hey guys, I’m Vicky and I’m going to be helping you guys make arts and crafts. You’ll be able to find me in the mess hall, or with this guy here. I hope we can all have fun together!” She grinned at the kids, before she found herself moved in front of Blake again. Tucking an orange lock of hair behind her ear she looked up at him and grinned. ”See, this isn’t so bad, and just think, if you ever knock me up you’ll already have experience with children.” Laughing she looked up at him expecting to see a horrified expression on his face. Blake had never struck her as the type to want children.
Leaning back against him she raised her hands to his arms that were around her shoulders, running her fingertips along his skin absently. When the tour started she pulled the lilac haired man off the fence, dragging him along.
Oliver felt slightly awkward in his Camp Larkspur t-shirt and a pair of shorts. His mother had made him wear the shorts saying that it would be too hot for pants. The fact that he never really wore shorts showed as his legs were paler than the rest of him. Shifting his backpack on his shoulders he picked up his duffle bag glancing around the parking lot. He was going to be here for two weeks. Two weeks was a long time, he especially was worried about his fish, hopefully his dad didn’t forget to feed them.
Walking around the parking lot he kept an eye out for anyone he might know. Maybe a school mate or- wait. He paused his head turning on a swivel, someone was speaking Japanese. Changing directions he followed the sound, stopping abruptly when he came upon Allie and another girl he didn’t know chatting away in one of his favourite languages. Of all the people he was hoping to see he hadn’t expected her, though he was happy about running into her. He liked the pinkette’s company truth be told.
When he spoke it was in Japanese as well, though he didn’t speak quite as quickly as Allie or the other girl did. He was fluent, but he needed more practice in actually speaking the language. ”Hey, Allie! I didn’t know you were coming to camp.” He paused there not sure what to say next. Then he remembered the other girl and he felt a light blush rise to his cheeks for being so inconsiderate. He turned to her and smiled, keeping to Japanese when he spoke. ”Hi, I’m Oliver.”
He was about to ask Allie what she was most excited about for camp having missed the beginning of her conversation but then the tour started and he never got a chance. Quickly he followed along, but stayed by her side, his only friend in a sea of strangers.

The kids were finally starting to get organized.
Mostly it was they grew bored of wandering aimlessly and their new target had been acquired: the cabins. But since most of them had no idea where they were going, they had to talk to the counselors. Which meant behaving.
Castille had already helped a couple find their counselors, and a couple others to find their cabins when she decided that it was time to do her own exploring, and find her bed. She tucked the clipboard under her arm and hefted her bag onto her back. She would check into the Daffodil cabin later and make sure they all found it ok after she got settled in.

Of course Sorrin was still undercover at the moment, he would round up the cabin shortly... and by rounding it was more like chasing them down with a water gun to round them up and send them to their beds. For now he worked his way properly through the crowd to join Lucien, Eve and Seth.
"Eve Summers, I see why The Midsummer Knight chose your nickname so at least. He gets points for puns. A good one at that." He offered Finn a thumbs up in approval as he finally got beside the other three. "However, Madam and Sir," he bowed to Eve and Seth in turn, "I'll be needing to take Lord Boring off your hands for some of this trip to round up the kids for our cabin."
At this point a duffle bag dropped to the ground, from it he produced one large super soaker holding it butt end to Lucien, "I trust Lord Boring you can be less boring then your lovely lady friend implies and will aid me in rounding up the youths?" At this he pulled out another water gun glancing to Seth and Eve "I have two more still if you would like to help yes?"

Smiling brightly, at Hawkeyes words Jenna was happy to know this. "Good, cause I really like Jennifer. I think I'll see her during dinner, she said something about that." She said, rambling a little. She was excited, she'd be able to see her friend at dinner time. It didn't bother her that her 'friend' was really a counselor and she had only just met her. None of that mattered, the other was nice and had helped her.
Dragging her own luggage, rather than have someone else do it, to the cabin she settled it with the other girls things and looked around the cabin. Maybe next year, if all went well, she'd ask her parents to let her come back to camp.

“True” Arian said in response to Cass’ suggestion that perhaps their names were still coming up. “Maybe...”
He was cut off by Miss Kookaburra speaking into the megaphone again and once she’d finished speaking and had hopped off the stage offered “Maybe we could stay together – at least until we find out who our counsellors are. That is, if that’s okay with you?” The last was added quickly. Arian didn’t want to presume anything. It was just Cass seemed nice and Arian really didn’t want to go back to drifting about on his own. He fiddled awkwardly with the end of his braid as he waited for the other’s answer.

Genevieve visibly puffed up in indignation and poor humor as Talia made a face at her, ignored her completely, and then ran off to goof around with her friend some more. Stamping a foot in a minor tantrum before she could catch herself, she crossed both arms over her chest in a decidedly pouty manner. How dare she act that way to someone that was only trying to be helpful and get her to her job. Scowling, she looked away at the trees for a moment before she burned holes into the backs of the other girl's head and forced herself to calm down. It would not do to have the children see her in such a way. ---
'Jennifer' smiled brightly as a taller and much darker girl came up behind her and snagged her attention. Turning around with the smile still cracking her face from ear to ear, she listened to Aitana intently all while her eyes got wider and wider bit by bit. Sure, it was nice that they definitely had some of the older female campers but not when they didn't speak English very well. A language barrier was not one the teen had thought she'd have to over-come during these two weeks. Feeling a tad discouraged but not anywhere close to the point of giving up she cocked her head at the term 'bed sandwiches'. Not quite knowing where to start, the blonde opened her mouth and just said whatever came to mind first. "There isn't a rule against eating in the beds but wouldn't the crumbs be a bear to deal with? Unless you're a really tidy eater in which case I guess you would be fine." She proceeded to go silent and think heavily on the idea until she caught sight of twin pink tails flowing and bobbing towards them.
The breath caught in her chest and her eyes narrowed as she tried to get a better view of who they belonged to until the girl was standing before them all smiles and hugs for the taller camper beside her. Within seconds 'Jennifer' relaxed completely and was all smiles as she watched the two obvious friends chatter away in a very foreign language. It sounded Chinese, or possibly Japanese, so there was definitely no keeping up with it. The obvious hint of mischief on Aitana's face was nearly impossible to miss however and Genevieve couldn't help but reciprocate a little in kind.
"Well, girls! I think its about time we start the tour and hopefully meet up with Moose and the other two girls of our cabin!" Looking the southern american girl in the eyes for a second she added, "Vos yeux sont très jolies. J'aime la façon dont ils sont brillants!" It was very choppy and probably incorrect French, but at least all she was doing was complimenting the girl's eyes. With a final chuckle she started to lead the way to join in with the massive Tour Migration.

Guen was really late.
This was a pretty unusual occurrence from the normally quiet and obedient girl. Her mother had decided to go over her head and put her into an Equestrian Camp for Young Ladies instead, and she had only found out when she'd noticed riding boots in her duffel bag, while her Larkspur shirts were mysteriously absent. She was still more than a little upset. She had had to cause a scene- calling her father to come pick her up, then missing the bus, and finally arriving by taxi (which she paid for with money she took from her mother's dresser). Really, this was not the beginning of a good day.
She ran to the mess hall first and checked the cabin list hurriedly.

Adira ruffled Sam's hair affectionately before wandering out of the crowd of children and back to the outskirts of the area where many of the other counselors were standing. She would have to learn so many names here without prior knowledge, and the task was daunting. She was beginning to reel a bit mentally at trying to shove everyone's names and faces into separate storage compartments in her brain. Each new person she met caused the room of people whose names she knew to expand, and Adira was surprised she managed to remember anything else at this point.
The tour was pleasant, most of the children were herded along easily like a flock of sheep. There were two, Hannah and Gertrude (who honestly named their child Gertrude anymore?!), that she had to herd back into the main group after passing their cabin. They had been undoubtedly trying to skip the tour to grab the best bunk beds that the small camper cabins had to offer. She herself was glad of a more privatized and civilized area for the Sr. Counselors.
After it had been concluded, Adira finished collecting the clip boards she'd been assigned and high tailed it off to the office. Plopping them down with not so much as a glance (she would finish getting everything checked out in a few hours), the short girl made her way into the sanctuary that was her cabin.

(( Nozomi pointed out that a general Camp Itinerary would be helpful to plan out IC interactions!! I agree! These are merely suggestions, a sort of a guide to help give your character a sense of structure. These are basic suggestions for interactions, not necessarily a future ORP. (Though previously planned ORPs are mentioned, just to fit them in an IC time-line.) )) --------------------------- Itinerary General Day-To-Day: 8am-9am: Breakfast. 9-12pm: Activities 12-2pm: Lunch and Free time, 2-4pm: Activities 4- 6pm Free time. 6-7:30pm: Dinner. 7pm- 10pm: Free time, Camp Fire lit and group activities for those who want to join. The Lake , during the day, is always open for swimming, except during meal times. At night, since there is no life guard on duty, the Lake is ‘closed’ but that might not stop anyone from going for a dip. The available activities vary from day to day, but there is always something going on. The various activities are open to everyone who wants to join! You do not have to go with your ‘group’, though it is advised that campers check in their supervising counselors every once and awhile. Day 1- Orientation, Tour, Camp Fire Marshmallow Roast and Sing-a-long Day 2- Improv lessons, Dance, Baseball, Flower Pressing, Painting and Sketching Day 3- Soccer, Canoeing, Trail Hike, Knot tying course, Macaroni art, Camp Fire Ghost stories. Cabin. Cabin. Daffodil. Right.
Pausing a half second to check her map one more time, she scuttled out, duffle bags in hand.

He had tucked his camera away finally now that most of the kids were off the bus and the 'bosses' were giving out the cabin assignments. He'd joined a few of the others and was trying to remember which campers were suppose to be in his, well his and Sorrin's, cabin.
He'd expected Sorrin to show up later with something odd. A super soaker was -not- what he'd expected as the butt of it was set in his hands. "Um ... you ... aren't serious are you?" What if the kids had electronics in their bags? Cameras or portable game systems (which he was pretty sure they weren't suppose to have anyway) or phones? They couldn't break those right?
He looked at Eve and Seth who had also been handed water guns for help. Not that he was likely to find any. "Hey ... wait. Lord Boring?"

Cass nodded vigorously, happy to have someone nearby who not only would be a-okay with him following, but shared the same sentiment of not wanting to wander around alone. Now he didn't feel like the pathetic nerd nerd with no friends; Arien counted as a friend right? Temporary friend? Acquaintance you cling to so it doesn't look like you don't have any friends.
"I think we can find out this way," He said, Tugging Arien along. If only the rest of camp went this smoothly, he'd be more than happy. ((Exiiiit~)))

Istas giggled when they were finished with the tour she ran off to her Cabin to make a tent and claim her bunk before many others had a chance. After all, it was easier to get there first rather than last, and she wanted Ridley as her bunk mate, so this would make it easier too.

Campers , with their bags in tow, made off for their respective cabins. For a brief moment, the camp seemed quiet and peaceful. Children were in their cabins, claiming bunks and getting settled. That peace lasted for all of five minutes, when campers rushed back out to enjoy all that camp offered. ------------------------------
((Thank you, everyone for participating in the first ORP of Camp! This orp is now considered FIN, as nothing new and exciting will be popping up here! You may, if you wish, post an exit if you have not already. In other news, the camp BATTLE (oooooo) will be starting on Saturday, June 25th. It is set to run (hopefully) until June 28th. I would also like to thank Lithia and LP for being instrumental in getting camp off the ground, planning, their encouragement and ideas, and being in general all around amazing helpers. Basically, if you didn't know it already, they are super awesome people; you all are.))

"Haaaa" She laughed a little as 'Jennifer' attempted to answer her question, curious as to what in the world had inspired the answer she'd recieved. It took her a moment, but then she attempted to explain a little more, her hands shifting one over the other. "Not food. Bed sandwich. Bed with person.. and then other bed and person right on top."
The french spoken to her received a delighted grin. Even bested she was glad that the ones charged with taking care of her weren't total sticks in the mud.
It was an understatement to say she was 'surprised' when a third voice chimed in in the foreign language. Her eyes searched the boy curiously before she offered out her hand in greeting. A friend of Coralie's was a friend of hers. "Aitana" She greeted him pleasantly before her attention was stolen by the tour they were being dragged on.
Falling in line with the tour, she watched this and that as it was pointed out, and when it was time to split she was sprinting to the Oleander cabin. She absolutely HAD to be the first one there!Exit
