Israfel had been fluttering around the Prom area for a while, curious and...nervous. He needed to get a date and also get something to wear. It was an odd aspect. Did he wear a dress? Did he wear a suit? Technically he could do both but he was at odds with himself. Lately he'd been find himself..looking. At things. getting fuzzy when thinking about certain parts. It was also kind of painful.
It made his poor Siren head hurt.
Wanting a distraction he saw a game. Games were good. They didn't make him think too hard. Unless they did, which in that case he...well he wasn't sure. Mimicking the other students, he picked up a ball and dropped it into the wheel.

Nothing. His ball dropping had gotten him nothing. Israfel glared at the wheel. He'd show it. He'd drop his balls so hard he'd win for sure.

The siren let our a cry of indignation. One ball drop at a time didn't cut it. No. He had to drop both his balls on it at the same time.

They bounced and his head bobbed in time with them. His balls bounced up and down on the wheel as it spun. The winning numbers so close...almost there...Then-Nothing. His balls had dropped and he'd come out with nothing. Not even the satisfaction of making click click click annoying noises. Israfel sighed and let his wings droop. He could try later but. His balls. He was sure if he dropped them he'd get something.
"Why won't my balls drop right?" He said this out loud, mind innocent to just all notation of what he'd said. "I think my balls are broken." This he muttered to himself. Because later he'd be sure to inspect his balls. Make sure they were not...misshapen or off weight. His balls had failed him, and this made the siren feel....actually kinda weird. It was probably the punch.
It was always the student council punch.

And he was back, Roch thought with a hint of self disgust. He hadn't gotten very far away at all, not when the bouncing of the ball was stuck in his mind. He couldn't help but pick up another ball, tossing it onto the roulette table, watching intently as it made its away around and around. Only to land on a non winning number.

He glared at the next ball, trying to use mind control (not that he had any even when his FEAR WAS working, but still) to keep it from landing on a bum spot. Then he tossed the ball onto the table. "Come on, come onnnnn." Only to watch it land on a bum number again. "Jack dammit!"

Two more balls, he swore. Whether he won or not, he would stop for good after these two. He grabbed the next one and let it fly, not bothering to use tricks that didn't work.
"YES!" he said, making a triumphant fist. "Co'mon, baby, giimme love," he said said he grabbed for his last ball.

He grabbed the fourth and final ball and let it rolll. A little grin pulled at his lips as he saw the 65. "Yeah, that's better," he said. "Now I'm done."
Because something told him it would easily become an addiction.

Aislin pushed herself up onto the table, sitting on it so her long legs dangled over the edge. She kicked them lightly, listening to the others talking. Yes, this was much better. Maybe she'd been less jealous of the ghouls and more jealous that she had just not been in on the conversation. Especially since it included him. She couldn't help it.
"I've met Riley before. At the sparkly booth... she ate my spookies." She hadn't been upset that they'd been eaten in less than a blink of the eye. In fact she'd been rather fascinated by the purple female. As the other ghoul was introduced she turned towards her, looking thoughtful. Junko... the name was familiar. "Junko? From groanspring? You were asking me things about knowing Seiji?"
The banshee moved to sit up on the table, letting her long legs dangle over the edge where they swayed lightly. A little, playful smile curved her lips upward as she leaned forward. "I don't know what happened to my luck. Usually it's better than this. I guess it got all used up on that sparkly booth." She gave a dramatic sigh. "I was hoping to get some chips, too."

Oh good, a distraction for Nuk. Riley took this chance to lean in, while still sitting on the table itself, as it was her spot, and she was obviously being very territorial about it hisssss-

She would have said something to Aislin concerning the chips that eluded her, but she was too busy trying to act like she didn't really need to talk to Nuk about this entire Shehk business.
This was an important look.

Aislin seemed like such a pretty ghoul. And so obviously up to something. Riley liked that in a ghoul. Fortunately, Riley also didn't realize that what Aislin was up to, was Nuk.
If she had, this situation would be a lot less rolling, and a lot more punching.
