Vlad gave a bark at the approaching student, causing Malcolm to look Tess' way. He recalled her from a previous class - the one where the classroom was burned down. He smiled when she asked before giving a nod to show his 'okay'; it is rare to find students who are genuinely polite nowadays... But she seemed to be one.
"Well then," He lowered his voice to a whisper so that only she could hear, "Between you and me, smell the nests you find before trying to get anything from it. It might save you a trip to the bathroom afterwards..." He then leaned back against the chair with a small grin.

Joachim lingered a little bit longer at the booth after Willow headed on in another direction. He looked at the two claws in his hands that he had pulled out of his pocket his permanent gloomy frown deepened. So they ate fear candy as well? These were most certainly not the ideal minipets he had in mind considering the fact that he had enough mice that tended to eat too many sweets. Though they did provide a little bit of fear if he used it as a threat against Merel when she got a little too upset and chewed holes in his socks.
Shrugging he scooped up his things along with Phorum and Merel and put the rest of his prizes back into his pockets. Phorum was content in sleeping in the one pocket while Merel scurried her way to the top of his head again. Giving the professor a small bow Joachim replied, "thank you for the errr... minipets?"
Not waiting to hear his reply Joachim took off in a slow shuffle after Willow wondering what booth they were going to see next.
((Edit: Forgot to say I was leaving and heading to N.A.P booth <3))

The manananggal took the teacher's advice with grim determination. "I will keep that in mind, thank you, Professor," she nodded. "Excuse me." Steeling herself, she went inside the maze to try her luck. If this was anything like Breck's Shed or Professor Byrn's Maze, well, she was out of luck, wasn't she? So far, so good. Neither trap nor vicious predator that would surely look at her like some chew toy. Unless they were into eating carrion, in which case she will fly in the opposite direction.

Natalia had been on her way over to the fitness booth when...
Malcolm.
For as long as the ghoul could remember, she had always considered her self an average caretaker. Granted, she mustered up the ability to do the minimum for her pets--feed them, change their water, take them out to piss and poo all over the place--but to actually spend time with them or to hold them and cuddle them fondly.
Well...
Natalia was not always on point with that. But things had swiftly changed after her first encounter with the professor of minipets, more importantly it changed when she was praised for her excellent ownership. 'Gud', were nearly the exact words on the card...but to skew them just a bit made the monster feel a million times better. So, seeing Malcolm at his booth, Vlad at his side, left Natalia with no other option than to stop in for a quick visit.
That is assuming whatever activities he had going on would not take more than a few moments to complete. Before she even had the chance to examine the booth for information on whatever was going on, the werelemur flattened her hands in front of her professor and smiled wide.
"Professor! Professor do you remember me!? Right On is doing wonderfully! All of my pets are actually! I am so grateful for the training you offered me--er, everyone." There was something odd about the way the ghoul said this...but hopefully Malcolm saw nothing more than an appreciative pupil. "What do you have going on here by the way?"
...Obsessed would not begin to describe how Natalia felt for the minipet professor...
Pausing for a moment to glance over Malcolm's shoulder, and then to his left right, she lifted a hand and waved it before continuing. "And hello Vlad, do you remember me?!"

Maritess had nearly missed the fact she came across a nest. Mostly because she had nothing to step in it with, so it was only by sheer luck that she spotted it at all! Should she? Shouldn't she? Oh, why not? She lowered herself down and reached in, felt her fingers brush against something and pulled out a ribbon?
Crimson eyes widened in delight. A ribbon! She loved ribbons, even if you couldn't tell by what she wore. Of course there was a reason why she loved ribbons but that wasn't appropriate material to be thinking about at the moment.

"Where am I now?" Nim was most thoroughly confused and lost. Not that it bothered him. He decided if he was going to be serious about learning he would try everything. Of course the mysterious movements and sounds of others screaming did do a number on his nerves. Rubbing the back of his neck and gathering all of his courage, Nim chose a direction and kept on walking. If he was going to be here, he might as well win something.

"You are very welcome," He nodded at the reaper just before he left; he felt rather glad that not all the students and potential students had been rude or ungrateful... That would make teaching less fun for sure.
Years of training minipets meant that he had a pretty good memory where names and faces are concerned. Thus, when a student he had not seen for a while appeared before him, he nodded, unable to resist a chuckle at his enthusiasm, "Hm, Natalia, right? I'm glad to hear that your minipets are doing well! I hope that they had stopped the whole 'staring at you while you slept' thing?"
Vlad tilted his invisible head before letting out a soft bark at the student when he heard hos name. He sort of recognized her scent, but beyond that, she was just another one of his master's students.
"As for this-" He gestured briefly at the entrance of the maze, "It is a maze of sorts... With wandering Rapalicious inside. However, if you follow the rules, you should be able to enter and exit without much problem." He then paused momentarily, his voice becoming softer, "However, might want to make sure you sniff every nest you find before dipping your hand in though... Avoid the ones that smell really bad."
Might as well help out the polite, enthusiastic ones.

Nim came upon...nothing. Well, not exactly nothing, because there was a pool of water. He bent down near it a dunked his hands in. It was kinda cold but it felt nice. Standing, he shakes the water off his hands. Do I keep going? Shrugging his shoulders, Nim continued onward.

Nim turned the corner and found...a nest? Yes, it was a nest! Nim wanted to run to it, but he remembered the rules from the entrance. He bottled his excitement and slowly walked to the nest. Bending down he reached into the nest. He picked up his prize and headed towards the exit. Deciding he'll come back later.

Her grin was wide spreading and sure to be long lasting; so long as her memory did not do away with Malcolm's desirable figure. When he mentioned her name Natalia straightened up and clapped her hands together once, lacing long white fingers together. Then, with her hands balled up, she dropped them in front of her and nodded her head. It was nice knowing that at least one of her professors could recollect her attendance.
"Uh...well I have not woken up with them at the end of my bed in quite a while but I can not speak for what happens when I am asleep." Briefly, she took a moment to pout, sinking her lower lip beneath her teeth for a quick nibble before continuing. "The least I can say is that they have stopped trying to freak me out, I guess." And with that, she moved with their conversation.
"Oh yeah? Well this is one hell of a booth, huh?" Natalia had no idea what the hell a Rapalicious was, but she was also not about to look silly in front of Malcolm. Leaning to the side to get a better view of what was beyond the professors booth, the ghoul 'hmm'ed before taking a few steps toward it.
"Sounds simple enough..." Although nothing was ever as simple as it seemed here at Amityville. But even with this knowledge, the monster was still not willing to look worried--not yet, anyways. Separating her hands so they were now fists at each of her side, Natalia nodded her head again before chirping the next few words aloud.
"Awesome! I think I will give it a go. Look out for smelly nests? Got it, thank you so much Malcolm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Slipping his name out, mostly by accident as she could not recall whether or not first-names were acceptable, the werelemur broke free of her daze and proceeded forward toward the maze.
She would win this...whatever this was. She would find the Rapa...Rapalicious things? And bring them back to Malcolm...and make him so proud...yes.

While keeping an eye on Mitsu, Shun listened to what the professor had to say about the raptors. It was good to know. Once the girl was back up to her feet, he glanced between her and Riyo, thinking for the moment.
"Let's move on," he said before nodding to the professor as a silent thanks for patching the wolf up.
He wasn't sure where they were headed next, but hopefully it was some place safe for the sake of the masked girl.

Mitsu gave a bit of a sigh but she knew the teacher was right. It wasn't like it was the first time she had heard that she lacked confidence. Though the idea he gave her was quite an intriguing one. Think of someone else who is confident? She would have to think on that a little.
"Thank you for the advice, Professor. And the bandages..," Mitsu said softly not wanting to be rude. She was, however, ready to go somewhere safe. Looking up as Shun offered her a hand up she took hold of said hand and pulled herself to her feet only to stumble because of her leg. It was rather sore from being treated as a chew toy / scratching post for the day.

As Shun snapped at not only the stranger, but her, Riyo shot him an intense glare before her eyes fell back to the teacher. Confidence...
Well... Riyo had confidence, but she still struggled with one of her pets... The idea that the fact that he disobeyed meant she lacked something infuriated her on the inside, though she did her best to hide it...
"Yeah... Thanks..." Was all the demon cat could think to say before scooping up the pop tart box she'd left outside of the maze. Too many things were happening in one day, and she wasn't sure what to think...
Yes, it would be best to leave now. It really would, considering the wolf ghoul was on her last leg (quite literally), and there probably wouldn't be much to see from here on...
But Riyo hadn't had this much fun in a long time. Fun? Being mauled by minipets all day was fun? Secretly, deep down somewhere, she supposed it was...
Instead of telling them she was following, Riyo continued to silently track behind the duo, secretly studying the two and making stipulations about them.

There had been a time when Natalia wandered through a maze very similar to this one...or, well she had cleared a maze once upon a time and for the ghoul each and every one after that would look almost identical in crossing. But, the speckling of nests every now and then proved to be a difference worth investigating, as her professor had so kindly pointed out. It was the name of the game, after all.
Upon taking her first turn the werelemur came up to her first find and approached it with extreme caution. What had Malcolm said about these things?...something about...uhm....chests. No. Bare skin. No that wasn't it. For Jacks sake the ghoul could not remember! Oh well, it must not have been that important....
Wait...
Dear--what the hell, were these things suppose to stink? Uck. Biting down on her lips while still moving forward ever so slowly, the monster tried to concentrate on what it was she was suppose to recollect; but the stench proved to be far worse than she could have ever imagined, and all but blinded by it, Natalia threw herself at the nest and reached boldly into it.
Surely doing this quick and easy would work best.
...THERE! She felt...something...whoa...
...or not. Stumbling backwards, Natalia thought she had rid herself of the odor; but oh how she was wrong. Her arm...it reeked...
