Cynthia shrugged. "Well, it all started with a party. Maybe there was something in the party that set this weird event off that killed the people in the mansion," she suggested. She tested her ankle and thanks to the ghostly auras, it seemed to be fine. She blushed as she did a small curtsy to Dom. "W-would you like to dance?..."
Melody giggled softly and walked over to Amarillo's side, her little bird Harmony on her shoulder like always. "So what are you up to?" she said brightly, but she always had that dark look in her eyes.

Dominick blushed slightly when she curtsied. "It would be my honor" He said, managing not to stutter. He wasn't sure how to dance though, he never learned. "Umm, I don't know how to dance though..." He said, hoping she might.
Amarillo looked at her. "If being bored counts as doing something, then that's what I'm doing." He said to her before closing his notebook. "If I am not mistaken, this is where we danced on that day, so long ago." He said to her.

Cynthia blushed harder but nodded. She took him by the hand and led him into an open spot in the ballroom. She kept her right hand in his left, positioning his other hand on her shoulder while her free hand was on his shoulder as well. Her face was still red as she started the waltz, leading him slowly around the ballroom.
"Yep. That night was the party and the dance," Melody giggled, tapping his notebook once but his hand twice. "So do you wanna dance again just for the h**l of it? It'll be nice," she said with a grin. For once, the grin was actually warm.

Dominick followed her lead. A little clumsily at first, but he caught on pretty quickly. He was blushing a little more now, but it wasn't very visible in the lighting, but he could barely tell that Cynthia was. And he understood. Dancing with a guy she just met today, it would be pretty embarrassing, wouldn't it.
Amarillo smiled, and it was a warm smile, not his usual, demonic smile. He stood up and put his notebook on the en-table which the chair he was sitting in was right next to. "Sure, why not." He said as he stood up. He put one hand onto her shoulder, while his other hand held her hand. "Shall we begin?" He asked her, ready to dance whenever she was.

Cynthia relaxed a bit after a while, dancing a little easier as A: Dom caught on, and B: as she got used to dancing with him. After a bit, the dance still continued, but Cynthia had moved onto looking around them for any clues while dancing still.
Melody smiled and rested her hand on his shoulder, her hand in his. She merely nodded and at the right timing with the music, they started the dance.

Dominick noticed that after awhile, both he and Cynthia had gotten more comfortable with dancing. And he too, had started looking around at the ballroom for something looked out of the ordinary, that, wouldn't have been there at the time. Not seeing anything, he mentally sighed and focused on the dance again, realizing that he was starting to trip over his own feet.
Amarillo felt as if he was alive again as he danced with Melody. It had been so long ago, and, it felt weird doing it, but he liked it. He admitted it, he, liked it. It was fun, almost.

Cynthia nearly tripped when Dominick did, having to pause slightly in the dance so she didn't fall over. Her face turned red again but for not nearly as long as before. "B-be careful, Dom..." she said softly. When she took a step to start the dance again, she froze and looked down at the floor. As she moved her foot away from the spot, the floorboard creaked loudly. The music and ghosts continued their dance around the humans, but the ghostly outfits she and Dominick were wearing vanished.
Melody smiled as she looked up at Amarillo with a warm grin, giggling as they danced. "You know... it's been forever..." Harmony, her little bird, flew around the room until it found a perch to sit on: one of the chairs off to the side of the room.

Cambio's eyes changed a bit, as If the light had left them, he began dancing with another female ghost. He looked so happy to be with the woman.
Dante appeared as well, his white hair was pulled back Into a pony tail and he was wearing the same white tux Dom and Cambio had on. He was dancing as well with a female ghost, they both seemed to know each other since they were smiling warmly and laughing.

Dom blushed lightly. "Sorry" He said quietly. When he heard the floor board squeak, he noticed that Cynthia's dress had faded away. He looked down to see that his Tux had faded as well. "What, just happened, how come out clothes faded/" He asked her, then thought about it. "Never mind, you probably don't know either." He said, mainly to himself.
Amarillo smiled wider. "It has...Hasn't it." He said. A moment later, he chuckled a little to himself. This was hilarious. he was enjoying himself. He looked around for the two humans, and saw them dancing. But, suddenly, their ghastly clothes disappeared. He smiled a bit. They had probably caught on to something.

Cynthia shrugged at the question and knelt next to the squeaky board. She lifted it carefully, using her nails to get into the crevice of the board and lift. Underneath was a small black key. She snatched up the key and let the floorboard fall back into place. On the key was etched the letter "M", and it clearly looked very old.
Melody giggled before spotting the humans. She rolled her eyes a bit and smirked, clearly finding the humans annoying. "You know, I don't mind being a ghost here... I can do whatever I want..."

Dominick helped her with the board. He looked down to Cynthia's ankle and saw that it was swelling again. "Now that our stuff has faded, you're probably going to have problems with your ankle again." He told her. He looked at the key she pulled it out from underneath the board. Dominick stepped on the board and pushed down hard with his foot to make sure it was in place.
Amarillo winced when they found the key, He didn't want to be released from this place. He liked it here. Never had to listen to adults, and other stuff, but then again, he would probably go to hell and not return to a human body. "Yeah. No rules. I love it. From what of my journal I've read, I used to hate rules." He told her. Smiling even wider as she rolled her eyes.

Cynthia looked up at him before sighing and shrugged. "Well, I'll get over it..." she muttered about her ankle. She got to her feet and leaned to one side to keep the pressure off her injury. "Well... we found a key... now what does it unlock?..."
Melody giggled when he mentioned hating rules. "Oh trust me, so do I..." She paused for a moment in talking, still dancing though. Whenever they spun, she would look back at Cynthia and Dominick, narrowing her eyes once again. "They found one clue... Still many more to go... but do you think we should stop them right in the beginning?... If we're gonna stay here, we can't let them figure out this mystery..."

Dominick shrugged when she asked what it went to. "A door?" He said with sarcasm, completely intended. Though, he figured he'd probably get smacked for it, but, ya' know, who cares? Sarcasm was sarcasm, and he loved it.
Amarillo shook his head. "No. Not yet. I want to see how their mind works, and have a little fun with them before we kill them. Then re hide the evidence. Simple and fun. And I can't get over the fact that I'm watching people solve my own murder case. It's so, intriguing." He said as he continued to dance with her.

"A door, a chest, a locked journal..." Cynthia trailed off with a side, shaking her head. "Let's head back to my room. I have a laptop with me so maybe we can look something up to help us..."
Melody sighed but continued to dance. She shut her eyes for a moment to relax, the warmth returning when she opened her eyes again and smiled back at Amarillo.

[Dominick nodded and stepped to the side. "Lead the way" He said in as polite a manor as possible.
Amarillo felt a little warmth enter his wisp of a body, like it had substance again. Like the vapors that made up his form were slowly being boiled. Then he felt weak, nothing he'd ever felt before as a ghost. Though, he did not show it.
