Namir arched a brow. "And that's important? That someone be amused?" Just then, a red figure hurtled to the sky to land abruptly and more than a bit unsteadily several feet away from where they were huddled. The wind serpent shook out her wings before tucking them against her back. She grumbled darkly before glaring at the storm that dared to drive her to the ground.

"That's an interesting turn of events," Αελλα noted watching the serpentine figure seem to almost stare the storm down. It was a futile battle of course, but still very interesting to watch.

Namir growled at this new intruder.
Thosi glanced at them, hearing the sounds of voices. With a frown, she cocked her head slightly. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" she demanded haughtily.

"Sunbathing..." the kalona answered dryly. This was just her luck, one with too much in ways of brains and no way to use it and one with apparently none at all. "We're waiting out the storm," she growled. "What do you think we're doing out here? Better yet, what are You doing out here? What type of fool flies into a storm?"

Thosi stiffened, baring her rather impressive fangs in annoyance. "I was flying with the storm, not into it. And I am not a fool, merely an excellent flyer and such skill requires practice," she sniffed.
"So you court death?" Namir snapped, liking this new stranger no more than his blue bat.
"Practice without a risk of injury is worthless. You can't improve if you don't realize you've made a mistake, and you can't realize a mistake if it doesn't hurt first."

"And all would be for nothing if you damage yourself beyond repair," the kalona mare noted sourly. She shifted her own wings guardedly."I respect a swirling tempest as much as the next demon but I have to agree with Fluffy here about the death wish thing."

She snorted and muttered something uncomplimentary about them before frowning. "You do realize there is a cave less than twenty yards from here? Or do you LIKE huddling under trees?"

The demon mare was about to make another cutting remark when the other's words finally caught up to her, "Wait- what?" She was on her feet in a moment, eyes keenly searching the dark around them for signs of this marvelous chance at dryness in the form of a cave. "My dear winged warrior, you wouldn't per chance be willing to take me to this cave of which you speak, would you?"

In a less dignified creature, what Namir was doing could have been called gaping at his blue companion.
"...It's in plain sight," Thosi frowned. "But fine. Follow me." And she set off, her serpentine tail lashing behind her as she picked her way through the foliage and to a rather well hidden cave.

"Keep your mouth like that and look up, Spotty," she muttered pushing past the skinwalker to happily follow her new found 'friend'. "I'll time how long it takes your lungs to fill with water, once all the hot air exits, of course."

"Be nice to me and we just might be able to squeeze you into this cave with us," she chided with a sinister smirk. "Come now, I know you want a chance to let that accursed cursed pelt of yours to dry."

Namir huffed. "I would rather hunt," he snarled, turning to do just that.
"Just as well," Thosi muttered, watching the skinwalker stalk off. "I hate the smell of wet dog."

Αελλα flashed an almost sincere smile, "It's that the truth. Well good riddance to bad rubish and all that." Her tail flicked warily as she continued to search for this foretold cave, so very eager to get out of the rain and give her own wings a chance to dry. And her mane. And her coat. And...and she really hated rain.

The cave would be dry and warm, but otherwise empty. It would be big enough for a couple more to squeeze in comfortably, but would dead in with no extending tunnels. Thosi watched her, near the opening, not seeming to care that the drizzle flattened her feathers. "What are you doing with the likes of that, anyway?"
