Demi wasn't doing so bad for a novice shooter, as he was trying to learn how to keep the gun stable to shoot the same place twice in succession. He managed to fire the gun once, it was a very good start for the hound. He was lining up his sights again when Bul's howl caught him off guard and all he felt was a searing blast to his upper arm and howled out in pain. "YEOOWWWWWW JACKING MMMPH!" He was so overcome by the hit that his finger slipped on the trigger and a shot rang out from his own gun into a line of students.
"Sorry! Crap that stings!" he bit out with a wince before putting the safety back on with his the other hand. The tail that was wagging so fast that it could cause a draft was quickly held still as he waited for the sting to subside.
At least he already has battle scars, NAP club may not be as hardened as they are.

Perhaps it was the fact that she left rather out of place in a club that had to do with physical activity, or perhaps it was the fact that she didn't know half the students here, but... She found herself with the 'spaced out' expression once again up to the point a boil mentioned... Some sort of protection for... What was that Malodore said?
Oh.
OH.
OHHH.
Her face was red by the time she realized what he was referring to, and before Christof could even reach her with the offending bright red items, she was off to grab some gear for herself together with a gun. An awesome gun that would probably hurt if someone shot it at her, but it was a gun. A GUN. That was pretty exciting!
Tightening the helmet (seeing Riley shoot Christof only caused her to realize the important of protective gear!) around her head, she tugged her hair to a side before, in record time, braided and tied it so that it fell over one shoulder. With the gun in hand, she then followed everyone outside.
... Did it start already?

And then Aksaja was distracted by all the noise over where people were apparently already getting into this game. So they were shooting each other, huh? Just as he noticed that, one of the wild paintballs went whizzing by his head.
Oh, NOW it was so on. Aksaja really had no idea who the shot actually came from, but Jericho seemed like a good target. I mean, why the hell not? Hopefully the other dragon wouldn't be too pissed off. Grinning, he raised his own gun and braced himself, firing off a shot at the red dragon's chest-armor.
But it ended up going a bit wild, more toward his legs maybe . . . oops.

"Oh. ... Okay." So the boil had been being a pain to others as well as smirking at her. She supposed that explained Sammy's rather extreme reaction. Once again, she wasn't sure what she felt; she wavered between relieved that it wasn't just a reaction to the flirting, and faintly offended that it wasn't. One of these days she'd figure out what was wrong with her. She leaned into Sammy's arm a moment longer, then stood straight again. "I think it's starting?"
People were shooting each other, at least. Wait. "Weren't we supposed to be shooting at targets, not people?"

Something about Siddie seemed off, she seemed almost too docile? She wasn't sure how to explain it, but the shadow monster didn't seem to be completely together at the moment. So she simply let the ghoul lean in against her offering a tight hug before moving towards the range.
"Er.... no we shouldn't be shooting each other... jack dammit..." She glanced at the range and back to Siddie, "We should uh, just ignore it... for now at least. I think it was a missfire and I think Jericho is taking care of it."

Nodding to Bul, Jericho turned back to the targets, ready to begin firing at them once more. But then he felt a sharp sting in his foot as well all of the sudden, causing him to yelp out in pain. While he wasn't barefoot, his sneakers didn't give that much protection against the impact.
Turning to see the attacker, he saw the lizard fleeing. Oh. Ok. It was on.
Narrowing his eyes, his lips curled back into a smirk as he was about to give chase. He stopped just in time to avoid getting caught in the volley of paintballs Astra was firing... somewhere, but then he felt another string right in his left thigh. The shots sure didn't sting any less from what he remembered. Either way, he wasn't just going to stand for this. Those shots weren't accidents for sure!
Moving back, he started firing back at Aksaja, seeing how the lightning dragon was closer than Bul in the meantime.

Aksaja pumped a fist in the air when he realized he'd still managed to actually hit the other dragon - especially considering the fact that he'd never fired a gun before in his life.
But then Jericho shot back at him. And the paintball slammed into the arm that he had raised. "OW. s**t! ********!" he yelped, yanking the arm back in close to his chest. Dammit, if it stung that much, why didn't they have more armor or something? Jack! But he knew that the point of this game was to shoot each other and besides, the sting was already fading.
And now he'd be ready for it in the future. Brows lowering in concentration he aimed another shot at Jericho. RETURN FIRE!

Any chance of the hound focusing on his stationary target practice was quickly going down in flames from all the stray paintball bullets being fired in all directions. Stationary targets was so half an hour ago, it was all about moving bulls eyes.
Speaking of bulls eyes, West was a lot like a bull. And with that idea in mind he fired a couple of bullets at West before running away with a barking laugh. "Take that!"
At least the sting on his arm was fading fast, hopefully the others wouldn't have bad injuries.
But who cares, less qq more pew pew.

When he saw he had gotten Aksaja, he continued to smirk, but he didn't stop moving. If he had, he probably would have gotten hit again, but he managed to avoid getting shot by the other dragon again. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw Damien getting in on the action as well, shooting at someone else.
Riley was likely going to be rather unhappy once she realized what was going on here, but it was far too late to turn back now. He figured he may as well make the most of this.
Moving his sights off of the lightning dragon briefly, he tried to fire at Bul again, despite the guy being further off at the moment. He still needed to get back at him after all.

Getting to her feet Astra Looked to see if her shots had hit anything, but was again thrown to the ground, her helmet now covered in paint. She got to her knees and thought that jericho had shot her again, but he was off shooting Askaja,
Wait, so were others starting to shoot her now? She panicked. Even with the armour now fitting her porperly her wings were still covered, so she was just a sitting duck.
She didn't want to be targeted by everyone!
Picking the gun up again she saw another dog student she wasn't familiar with, and taking aim she fired a shot at him.
"I'm sorry riley I'm sorry riley I'm sorry riley..." she chanted in her head. It was self defense, she swore!

It was as if the tension between them had sent alarms blaring about, a red warning for all personnel to rush to the designated area at once or else the ship was about to explode. Core 1 was reacting violently to a unidentified element and all hell was about to break loose, or so it seemed to outsiders.
Calder COULD have made it worse, but he was more or less turning green at the hand touching his chest and Riley's very disgusting words. He read romance novels. He knew double meanings better than anyone, and in this case, he wanted to just start dry heaving at the very idea of being under the ghoul. Ew. Ew. Triple Ew times infinity plus a bagillion.
Malodore had arrived as Calvary but his attempt to dump armor on his hadn't worked. Calder hadn't torn his eyes from the mindflayer and only seemed a bit less green when she finally removed her hand from him. In no time, Christof arrived and now it seemed they really were getting a audience. Oh great! He was TRYING to be discrete here.
Christof had moved to his side, grabbing his arm and twisting it in his grip. How this was supposed to help, he had NO idea. It just made him want to go OW! OW! OOOOOWWW!
This is exactly why you need to work out more.
With everyone around him and Riley practically leaning over him, he felt more and more sick. Shuffling, he covered his mouth and gestured for Riley to move away. "Geez, Riley. I told you already I wanted to get up. Why are you still trying to lay on me? You're making me uncomfortable." He said, making use of his 14 year old voice and sounding a little worried and uncomfortable, and even making his ears drop back for show. It wasn't like anyone here knew he could make them drop on his own.
Calder reaching up to take Chrsitof's arm that was currently gripping his to try and get up. "....and pointing a gun at me? I'm completely defenseless." He continued to look hurt and worried, as if Riley was some lunatic who decided to gun down innocent civilians on a whim.

The members of the Fitness Club were oh so lucky for Calder's arrival, because if Riley knew what was going on just outside the doors of the building, heads would be rolling for sure.
But she had bigger fish to fry at the moment.
Enough. Riley's playful mood vanished as quickly as it came. Stop your bullshitting and tell me the truth. Why. Are. You. Here? She gave Christof a withering glance. I'm not actually going to shoot him, Christof. Besides, they're just paintballs. She pointed her gun at the wall beside the kelpie, and fired. The splatter even got a little on her. They wouldn't kill him.
The word unfortunately was left hanging in the air, unsaid.

There needed to be a paintball club after this, there just had to be, Demi was having way too much fun with this one sport. He wasn't even sure if he managed to strike the grumpy boil, but odds were he'd find out soon enough.
At least all was safe before he felt a few shots hit his chest plate, painting it a variety of colors like some violent work of art. He wheeled around with his gun at the ready and saw a tiny ghoul taking her shots at him.
"Lets go ghoulie!" Oh it was on, revenge was a dish best served with a volley of paint and his gun was ready to take customers.

Er they still hurt and um. He's er... my friend, Mistress and um. He's not wearing the proper armor I should go help him get suited up, right Mistress? The hunchback gave the club leader a pleading look, already slowly dragging Calder away towards his abandoned cart.
Why did Calder have to come? What WAS he doing there?? If he was going to sabotage his only chance to do some PROPER Igoring for his Mistress, the kelpie had another thing coming.
