Ze shook his head, "All right, all right. I'll be back later." He said. "Try to have some of your medicine or I'll force feed it to you myself." he said, opening the door and closing it behind him. He left the building and made his way toward the cafe, where he borrowed an extra uniform and got to work.

Devon grinned at Ze's comment about the medicine, and just before he shut the door behind him, Devon called to him, "Don't tempt me." with a laugh.

Ze shook his head at Devon's comment and just went to work. The three hours went by in a flash, but he had to stay another couple to help them. He got out and went back to Devon's apartment, "All right, you'd better have taken your medicine," He said, stepping into the apartment with a large yawn.

Once Ze left, Devon sighed, laid there on the couch for a moment, and then he got up to go take some medicine, deciding that if he was going to get over this stupid cold faster, he'd need more than to just tough it out. Due to Devon's beliefs of will over medicine, his system reacted to the cold drugs quicker and more effectively than that of someone who'd taken it every time they were sick; by the time Ze got home Devon was knocked out on the couch, or at least half-way because his head had rolled off the edge of the couch while one arm hung to the floor, his legs hanging of the side of the arm of the couch.

Ze looked at Devon, chuckling softly to himself. He shook his head some and closed the door behind him. He made sure the door was locked and made his way into the living room, where he straighted Devon out so he was laying comfortably on the couch, the blanket wrapped completely around him. Ze found himself a pillow and extra blanket and curled up on the floor next to the couch. As soon as he was comfortable, the boy was out. He just felt comfortable here and he was able to sleep more effectively because he knew Devon was resting.

(true. I'm gonna have Ze come back to the apartment after karate practice.)
About a week's passed since Ze started taking care of Devon in hopes of making him feel better. When he wasn't with Devon, he was either at school, home to change, working or at karate practice. He had just finished karate practice and after showering and changing, he returned to Devon's apartment with some milk, "Devon, I got some milk since I know you're almost out. Did you take your medicine for the day?" He asked, closing the door behind him and taking off his shoes before moving farther into the apartment. He put the milk in the fridge before heading into the living room to check on his charge.

Devon groaned, rolling to his side on the couch, "C'mon, it's been three days since I've had a fever or sore throat, and I've hardly been coughing or sneezing, I'm pretty sure I'm over it by now." he complained, "At the rate your keeping this at, I'll become a cold medicine addict." he muttered, pouting; he hated the cold medicine, it would make him tired when he wanted to stay awake and he'd feel super groggy and sluggish when he woke up.

"That may be true, but the bottle says to drink all of it, even if you don't have any symptoms the cold may still be there, just laying dormate. It may come back." Ze lectured, picking the medicine up off the floor where Devon had put it. He showed Devon, "Come on, there's just enough left for today and it'll be gone, all right? I can make you take it too." He said, raising an eyebrow in a challenge as he sat on the very edge of the couch.

Whining and complaining, Devon took the medicine reluctantly, "Just so you know, the moment that this stupid medicine wears off, you're gonna' have a hell of a time dealing with me, because I'll be just fine, and you won't be able to use my being sick as an excuse if I advance on you later." he grumbled, rolling over and pulling the blanket up over his shoulder in a manner that said he was unhappy with this outcome.

"Fine, Jackson, but as long as you're feeling better." Ze said, shaking his head some. He got up and yawned, "When you wake up later, I'll have something for you to eat, so try to get some sleep." He said, stretching some and sitting on the floor. He leaned back and snoozed, his arms crossed over his chest and one leg bent while the other was laying flat on the floor. He snored softly as he snored, breathing in and out softly. He snoozed like that for a few hours before waking up again and cracking his neck where he felt it was sore. Grumbling to himself, Ze got up, stretched and went into the bathroom to relieve himself, then washed his hands and went into the kitchen, starting to prepare some soup for Devon when he woke up.

Devon continued to snooze, his breathing smooth and slow as he drooled on the couch, his face contempt and nearly blissful, but the drool had created a wet stain on the couch and was growing up toward his eye, making him grimace a bit in the process.

Ze noticed Devon starting to get uncomfortable so he left the soup for a few minutes to warm up and went over to the couch. He looked over Devon to see what was making him uncomfortable and grabbed an unused towel. He went back to the couch and gently cradling Devon's head in his hand, he lifted it up and put the towel down, mopping up the drool at the corner of his mouth and gently laying his head back down so he could sleep.
