Well, Aeris did say that she was dating someone in Solider. It could have been either Zack or Sephiroth. FF7 is hard to figure out at times. Seph was a decent guy before he found out about Jenova and everything. It could have really been him.
If it was Seph she dated, then the real reason why Sephy killed her.......she was cheating on him with Cloud and he doesn't take rejection well. >_>

Cool I would like to see Aeris and Sephiroth together heart Cloud could just stick with Tifa. If Aeris were with Seph, the game would change and that'd be cool xd Cause then Aeris wouldn't be killed by Seph, Cloud wouldn't be such a woman and Tifa could finally make herself useful. 3nodding Yay!! biggrin

okay maybe if he was looking for hes soul-mate it might work, but I have a feeling that hes not all that interested in having a relationship.

Anyway, I'm not speaking for all AeriSeph, but, this is why I see the two together. You see, even though Sephiroth did in fact kill Aeris, there are two things that could be reason for this. Either he was completely controlled by Jenova and used as a puppet for her misdeeds, or he was a little unstable and misled into this death-dealing, manical Sephiroth from the game. However, take away Jenova, and add some stability to his form, and you can really see this pairing work. Now, back to the, "Didn't he kill her?" thing. Yes, he did, in fact, kill her, there's no denying that. Now, that can easily be taken out in an Alternate-Universe fic, but let's not go into that right now. Now, if they were both to meet in the life stream or in a second life, and Sephiroth asked for forgiveness from Aeris and said he would repent, than Aeris would probably forgive him and stay by his side.

Also, Aeris was praying for Holy, even if they were together or whatever, she was getting in the way, that and it would be like killing two birds with one stone, since he seemed to like to make cloud feel insignificant, taking Aeris away from the group is like telling him he can't be with her because 'he's not real...only a clone, the feelings he was having weren't real' yadayadayada...or maybe he just wanted to be the last Ancient on the planet...aside from Jenova...either way, all of it seem to be a much more appealing reason to kill her than to keep her alive if I was psycho Seph. even if he was once with her.
...though...he's a little old....*squints eyes*...a little too old...

Like I said before, maybe it was not Sephiroth's intention to kill Aeris. It may have been just Jenova controlling Sephiroth, and once she saw Aeris as a threat, she used Sephiroth like a puppet to take her out.
Still, you can't deny that if they were put under different circumstances, the two could have been an item. That's where Alternate-Universe fics come into play. If we keep the personality, but give them different life roles, then it could happen. Like if Sephiroth was a gang leader and Aeris was one of his hostages, and keep the personalities, the two could work together well.

I can see that happening actually sephiroth wasn't always crazy and i think the only reason why people say cloud and aeris is because clouds the good guy i think sephiroth would monster cloud anyday but thats just my oppinion

That makes sense... I wonder if people would still like AeriCloud if Cloud was the villain instead of the hero, and how many people would like AeriSeph if Sephiroth was the hero...
Oh, and Miss Mew, you did something I thought was impossible. You found an AeriSeph picture I never had in my gallery. Where did you find that one?

LadyPrincePyro I could actually see them togther...woah now guys, put down those pitchforks! eek Well what I mean is, they sort of both had harsh childhoods...both lost their mothers at very young ages...and for awhile, Sephiroth though he was an Ancient too so... In the movies of him, back when Zack was still alive, he was a much calmer and kinder individual, one who looked after the needs of his men. Now of course he became a psychopathic ramaging nut case...but before then...yeah, I can see them possibly being together. sephiroth isnt an ancient he thinks he is he was just created by janova cells and he went completly insaine! i see cloud and tifa such a cute cupple!

I like the Aeris Sephiroth coupling... mostly because it's so different, suprising, and original. And thus, difficult to write well in fanfiction.
If possible, do me a favor and please go on www.fanfiction.net, and search for the author Sulphurya. Read the AerisXSephiroth one. heart That's the one that got me started on the pairing in the first place.
