Germain frowned at his wife. "I'm afraid that even we gods are puzzled as to where Lucida is." he admitted and rubbed the back of his neck. "She escaped, but I do not know where. As for her people..." he muttered with a grim expression. "Millions have perished at the hands of their new king. Those that survived must bow to him." he said and turned around. "The new king of Litari: King Nikolai."

Nelanora felt her heart sink down to the ground. Her friend missing, and millions dead. And worse, Prince Nikolai was now king. She should have known that Trities would be behind this act of horror. Their king corrupt, the prince just as much as the king. And the queen locked away. She should have known. "Is there any way to try and find Lucinda?" Nelanora looked up at Germain, searching his face for any sign of hope.

Germain paused and pondered the idea before turning around to face Nelenora. "Perhaps, but before we do anything, I must tell you an important secret. One that must never reach anyone else's ears, especially our children." he warned.

Nelanora nodded, looking at her husband. "I will tell no one, I promise." "What secret could be so big?" Nelanora thought to herself. She pushed the thought away. It didn't matter.

"For years, many have searched for the ancient weapons." Germain muttered, looking at the flames overseas. "One lied in Aral, one here, until Aral's king stole the weapon from me." he said, though there was no anger in his tone. "I was enraged at first, but that was until I saw the purpose for the theft." he said and looked at his wife. "Lucida was in a deep state in depression, and it was certain that her kingdom would be the first to fall, and so King Deaven gave Lucida one of the weapons so she could defend herself. Which explains the large explosions you see there." he said. As if on cue, another explosion boomed over the flames. "But now that Lucida has disappeared, I fear Nikolai has gotten his hands on the weapon." he said and looked back at the flames.

"T..that does explain so much." Nelanora nodded, many things fitting themselves together now. She jumped slightly at the sound of another explosion. "Nikolai with an ancient weapon...One of the most horrid thoughts that may have ever crossed my mind... Do you suppose that Lucinda will be okay on her own for the time being? We need to search for her as soon as possible. I will go if I have too." Nelanora looked up at Germain, praying that he would agree with her.

Germain nodded and looked at the cloud coming from the recent explosion. "Yes, but you'll have to hurry." he said. "I believe Nikolai will be searching for her as well."
Nikolai stood on the roof of his new castle, watching the massive flames swallow the remains of the old Litari. He grinned as he watched his armies enter new cities, but winced a little at a gash on his left forearm. He let his mind wander to just a while ago, how he stormed into the castle and saw the queen, armed with a bow and arrow, but not just any bow and arrow. It was a legendary weapon. How she got it was beyond him, but she knew how to use it. She let loose one arrow and it destroyed the soldiers that entered the castle. Luckily, the young king managed to reach her, but the arrow managed to slash his arm in the process. He took her bow and aimed it on her, but before they could do anything, a type of fog swallowed everyone up. By the time the fog disappeared, so did the queen. But that didn't matter anymore. He was king now, and he didn't have to live with his horrid parents. Nikolai inhaled the smoke from the flames and reached over his shoulder to the quiver that supplied him with endless arrows. He found one, loaded it into the bow's string, and aimed at a section of a forest. He let go. Once the arrow touched the ground, a massive boom shook the land, a gigantic flaming ball engulfing anything in a 500 mile radius.

Nelanora nodded, hugged her husband quickly, thanking him, then stepped up onto the ledge, outstretched her wings, and dove off. She stretched them out the farthest they could go, soaring as fast as the current wind patterns could take her across the sea. As soon as land was in her line of vision, she dove down closer to the ground, bringing her wings in and landing smoothly in a thick forest, with one great wall of flames approaching towards her. It was now or never. "Lucinda!? Lucinda! It is me Nelanora! Please come out! Lucinda!!" Nelanora called out at the top of her lungs.

"Yeah, actually. I do get paid. Handsomely. But like I said- I don't kill friends. If I consider Cat-Man and Princey over here friends. Which of course. I do. Because apparently, Aki does too." Hiiro nodded toward Boris and Ace. She shrugged, "It's natural."
"And if she didn't consider you friends, she has no means of starting a war." Aki added.

Ace picked Boris up and tossed him into the air a few times. "Hey, could be worse. You could be a lame butler!" he laughed.
Lucida plodded down the forest. She had lost everything, she deserved to die. She remembered Nikolai about to shoot her with an arrow when a fog swallowed her up and spat her out in the middle of the forest. Was that her own doing? Lost in thought, Lucida blinked when she heard an old friend's voice. Nelanora, queen of Fentrol. Was she in Fentrol? Lucida slowly followed the sound of the voice until she saw her old friend. "...Nelenora...?" she mumbled, her arms wrapped around her.

Kohaku had wandered far but she didn't care. She didn't have any restrictions that she knew of and she was just enjoying the sunlight. But the feeling of joy quickly faded as she felt destruction in the air. She looked around and wondered what had happened. From a distance she could see that Litari had fallen and she knew exactly who caused it. Wanderer had walked into Trities territory and she was calling out for Daeven's son. Though she couldn't remember his name. "Prince of Aral! Show yourself now!" she called out in frustration. She was getting no where and if she kept wasting her time looking for him, she would probably never get the chance to find Red. And she had the oddest feeling that something terrible had happened to Lucida. She wanted to get back to Litari as soon as she could and rejoin her queen's side but she was stuck looking for someone she had never even met.

"Lay off, Hiiro." Aki said warningly, "No need to pick on them." She turned toward the sea and frowned. "We should set up some kind of camp." She mumbled.

"Lucida! Nelanora wrapped her arms around her friend, bursting with happiness that her friend was still alive. "You're alive! Are you hurt at all? Come, we must get you to Fentrol as soon as possible so you are safe."
