ℜ@√℮ Ѻмεℊα- I wonder if I'll get punished for this He hadn't been laying under his favorite tree long before he noticed something just a bit suspicious. There was someone walking around the grounds looking at, well, pretty much everything. The only thing that kept Leion from pouncing into action and attacking was the fact that the schools defenses hadn't gone off, which meant that they much identify the person as a student or friendly target or something, right? Regardless he stood, brushed some grass from his pants and started towards the guy as it looked like he was about to start climbing the walls of the school, did he have powers that let him climb easier like Jacen did? He hadn't seen the person before, so if he was a student he had to be from the younger teams or from the Alphas, since Leion only had access to basic data like who his team mates were and what their power was and this guy didn't show up in the Omega files. "What'cha doin' there?" he called out as he stopped several feet from the man, Marcel. Leion appeared to be standing casually, but was prepared to fire off some energy at the first sign of hostility, and who could blame him some of the stuff you see on the junior teams tends to make you think twice about dropping your guard while talking to strangers. "They don't know... What I know... They never seen this side of you... They Know the lies, I know the truth "They say stay... I say go... They never saw our stars before They think our love is beautiful..." "Everything is beautiful when you see them through... Rose Colored Glasses" ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Marcel Porter ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Marcel was stuck in a state of daydreaming. He admired the architect of the school. It was mesmerizing in his view. It gave him so many possibilities about hw he could scale the place. One was for sure though, he wanted to see through the windows of the basement, then somehow mange to find himself by the library windows. He was ready to make his move unti he heard someone say something to him. His body didn't freeze as if he was caught doing something bad. He wasn't doing anything wrong, was he? That made him think about alal the things he managed to do right, but those crazy humans saw as wrong. He sighed as he tried to figure his way out of this one. He could draw water from his own body if he needed to, but he didn't know anything about the person that asked that question. The rain water that was on the ground would help him too after all, it stopped raining hours after the meeting ended.
Climbing was something of his, but he was still learning. His father after all only taught him the basics. In order for him to get better, he found it best to try and climb the building until he made it to the basement. So far, no one was telling him he was doing anything wrong if he was, until he heard the voice. He didn't tell him to stop, but asked what was he doing instead, so he was good for the moment. Out of curiosity, he wanted to see who asked that question. If there was any choice in the matter, the person could have very much attacked him, so turning was good not to show any hostility. One thing though was if he could raise water without using those arms of his. When he became better at his gifts, he was able to manipulate water with his hand unless he was drawing it out his own body which wasn't a pleasant feeling. That was for another time to think about. He had another pressing matter to tend to unless it wasn't anything major.
He turned to face the man and was a little surprised at first. It was the same boy who was laying under that tree. He wasn't sure why he would be out there looking up at the sun, but people had their reasons. He had his reasons to try and scale a building after all even knowing the risks of severly injuring himself. "Oh..I'm just looking at my surroundings, trying to get a better view at the school...I'm not doing anything wrong am I?" It was then he found it best to study the boy in every exact detail from his purple eyes to the little defense he had on him. Did he think he was the enemy or something? "I..I'm not going to attack or anything i..if that's what you're thinking." Several words flew in his mind at that moment. He wasn't used to talking to people that well. The first time he managed to say something without hesitating. This time didn't go so well for him. He hoped the man didn't attack him still or anything. That would give him permission to fight back, right? "Everything is amazing when you see the view in... Rose Colored Glasses Take em' Off" ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Team: Alpha Code Name: Tsunami Location: Yard Ability: Hydrokinesis Thoughts: Trying to avoid conflict. ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀

Alpha - Library // Music Room - Those Eyes…Get Them Away From Me... As Rob cautioned Varis about picking his battles, Raine couldn't help but smile and snicker lightly. They were wise words - she could only hope they would be heeded. Many new students thought they could get through to the blonde, but it was in vain - that wench didn't have a soul as far as Raine was concerned. That was made abundantly clear by her continuing jabs at Alphas just because their uniforms were black and blue instead of black and red. She opened her mouth to say something, the smile on the corners of her lips turning downwards when she caught Cissa's comments about her offer to tutor Aren. Raine was in the top of her class - whatever the blonde had to say about her intellectual capacity was basically moot. It wasn't the words that stung, it was the person that said them - and there was not a god damned thing she could do about it. The fact that it was in front of Aren stung a bit, though her cheeks turned a light shade of pink when she heard him stick up for her. Thankfully her back was to them, so he wouldn't notice. As if he needed a reason to be more perfect in her eyes... The arrival of a new face, asking to join their little Alpha table brought a hint of a smile back to her features, the girl introducing herself as Tsukino. Varis seemed to have a bit of a problem with people remaining wary of Cissa's wrath, the lightning bug not sure if he was just that kind of person or if he might have a death wish. Either way, she figured she would have to keep an eye on him - it was all too easy to get into trouble around here, and Bella definitely had enough to deal with on a daily basis. He started to chat with the girl about what his powers were, Raine making sure to pay attention to what they said. It was helpful to know what everyone could do when they were getting ready to DR sessions and field missions. What really caught her off guard was the twinkle in his eye when he was asked about his powers - seems like he really liked what he could do, and was all to happy to give them a demonstration. At least he was confident - that would come in handy when they were thrown into some sort of dangerous situations here they had to react quickly - Raine was still a little hesitant to use hers the majority of the time, but confidence would come with control. In that way, she found herself a little envious of him. As Rob cautioned Varis about picking his battles, Raine couldn't help mentioned that he could manipulate fire, closing his textbook. Fir the briefest second, she thought she might have interrupted his studying by so rudely inviting herself to sit down and start talking to him. However, he didn't seem that agitated - the last thing she wanted was to make a bad impression on the new team members. Clearing her throat however, she smiled around the table, folding her arms in front of her and leaning on them gently. " You guys probably already know, but I control electricity," she said simply, shrugging her shoulders as if it wasn't that big of a deal. Compared to some of the other powers at the academy, she felt a little out of her league, but there were a few times she was able to prove that she was good for more than just a little electric zap now and again. Glancing at the clock on the wall, she took a deep breath, the feeling of the Omega stare boring into the back of her head starting to bother her. She could feel her inner stores of electricity starting to bubble, threatening to break the skin - That was her cue that it was time to head elsewhere and find something to calm her nerves. " Well, I think I'm going to get out of here - maybe head to the music room to unwind since I can't go outside right now, I don't know. Stupid rain…anyways, you guys are welcome to join me if you want. Otherwise just make sure to stay off the radar for now - it'll be better for everyone in the long run," she spoke politely, collecting her rather large stack of books and adjusting her bag so she didn't lose her grip on anything. A small flutter of her fingers served as her exit, though her glance back indicated that her offer to accompany her to the music room still stood - she wasn't sure if any of them played or not. As she walked into the music room, she saw Leonardo speaking with yet another new face ( Aurelie), the firefly forcing a soft smile towards them in passing. She didn't want to interrupt them if they were talking about something important, instead focusing on retrieving her cello from her music locker at the side of the room. Taking a deep breath as she played her encounter with Cissa over and over in her head - the more she thought about it, the more agitated she became. As she reached for her bow, a glitter of electricity arced between her fingers, the brunette quickly drawing her hand away from the instrument and clasping it to her chest, scooting back in her seat to avoid damaging her new cello. Damnit... Shaking her hand out, Raine opened and closed her fist until the glittering electricity dissipated, absorbed back into her skin. Her breathing was controlled, hazel eyes staring down at the instrument before her as opposed to the others in the room. How was it that one person could get under her skin so easily - nothing the Omega leader said was true, and Raine knew it. So why did she find herself dwelling on it?

Omega: Workout room: Reading and getting a workout. Lillian had been running for a bit. It was good to give her muscles a good workout. She really had been in the lab to long this morning. She couldn't help but smile as she read the book. Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon, was a book she had read before but she always enjoyed it. Fantasy book with elements of mysticism, battle, and even a some romance to spice things up. The characters were all so well developed and each were quite enjoyable. Though the lovable Grunthor who was a great friend to have and a terrible enemy to have to face. was her favorite character. She turned off her tablet not needing to save anything nor bookmark her place as the program did that automatically. Hitting the end button on the treadmill it slowly came to a stop allowing her to hop off easily. Lillian took a few moments to stretch out her legs so as to prevent them from becoming stiff and achy later, even though she was used to running she knew the importance to stretching after a run. Grabbing a towel from the shelf that was in the room covered in many freshly laundered towels for those that used the work out room. She wiped off her face as she caught sight of the weights in the corner she was tempted to lift some weights. Shaking her head she moved over to the center of the mat. She bowed with a smirk as a thought of her when her grandfather was teaching her Kung Fu as her mother watched on. Many thought her Japanese grand father odd as he learned Kung Fu over Japanese Karate not that it ever crossed her mind as it was something she had always known. Though at the same time to many it was odd for her to have a Japanese grandfather when Lillian herself was clearly not Asian on the genetic level. Going through the motions she performed one of the katas she had learned many years ago. Her body moved with a practiced grace if anyone saw her would tell it wasn't something new to her one bit. Stopping what she was doing as Cissa's voice came through her comm. Lillian really couldn't help but laugh at what was said. Seems some Alpha's were deciding to test her friends patience for them. While really the Alpha's were fine at the moment and Cissa wouldn't hurt them unless she was truly pissed. Lillian knew the headache Cissa would receive thanks to Frost wasn't something the Alpha's would be worth to her teams leader. Lillian herself held no team bias like some other Omega's though at times some of Cissa's personality would flare up so to speak. Pulling her tapped her comm to connect to Cissa's and brought the comm attached to her wrist to her mouth. "Cissa did you get stuck tutoring or something? I wouldn't of expected you to spend time in the library while on a break from schooling." Lillian said plainly. She was one of the few that could actually speak what was on her mind without worry of punishment from the blond nuke. Though that was thanks to knowing her for a few years. Never mind that she knew more about her then probably anyone though Kerrigan could very well know more. But Lillian knew her so well because on several instants she found herself for lack of a better way to describe it as Cissa. Her power did take more then just energy and abilities from those she touched she even gained memories and their personality. Which did make things tricky at times depending on who she absorbed. Like the time she absorbed the very out spoken lesbian hydrokenetic, which in turn lead Lillian one day very boldly hitting on Betsy Braddock. That had been the talk of the school for a few weeks all those years ago.

Alpha - Cafeteria // Game Room - #Winning? She actually hadn't intended to make a joke, if he thought she was witty, that was just fine. Either way, she laughed slightly, the two making their way towards the game room. She caught the sight of rain falling outside, bringing a slight frown to the corners of her lips. Looks like there wouldn't be anymore sunbathing until tomorrow. Oh well - the earth would be there when she woke up, freshly greened. As she waited for him to choose a game, her brown eyes followed where he looked, wondering what he would pick. She had a feeling she was flirting with dangerous ground if he tried to turn their activity dirty, but hopefully he would stick to the basics. Knowing enough about him, it could really go either way, depending on how he perceived her mood and how daring he decided to be. He shot down monopoly, Tara having to fight the urge to roll her eyes as he slipped a flirtatious comment in there somewhere. Instead, she just smiled as he chose poker, setting a deck of cards down on the table. It seemed as if her grin turned into a dangerous smirk, adjusting herself in her seat as he took his seat as well. Tara loved poker - she played it all the time with her step-brother and his friends, always to her advantage. He asked what they were playing for, Tara reaching for the cards and beginning to shuffle as a girl walked into the room, offering a small "hello". Tara gave the girl a smile, brown eyes following her as she went over to the of the game consols and got herself comfortable, Tara bridging the cards as she turned her full attention back to Dimitri. " What are we playing for? Oh, I don't know. Respect? Penny to the dollar? Emotional damage resulting from some obscene wager that involves something embarrassing or humiliating in public?" She'd played for them all at one point - and won. One time she'd forced her step brother to wear a pair of her underwear over his jeans when his friends came over to visit - he wasn't allowed to tell them why he was doing it either. That was just awesome. As she started to deal out the cards, the girl ( Alexandria) came over to them and asked if she could join them, Tara smiling and dealing her into the mix as well. At least there would be another girl around - if something went wrong she could focus Dimitri's attention elsewhere and make a run for it. Not that she would need to do that - he should know better than to misbehave. " Of course, the more the merrier. I'm Tara, this is Dimitri, and the name of the game is Texas Hold'em. You know it?"

ȻΩѶɆȾ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ Ωrchid Ⱥutumn Ωmegas Location: Cafeteria Thoughts: Small talk ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ Orchid smiled warmly at Megan’s comment about her artistic abilities. ”Fortunately for me, I was blessed with my mother’s artistic ability,” she remarked with a bit of a shrug. ”Also fortunate for me is the fact that I was not blessed with my mother’s humanity,” she added with a light laugh and a wink. Just then the hair on her head seemed to come to life, curling its way around her head, completely changing its style. Just then a few of her dusky locks changed into a shade of indigo. She smiled at the clawed girl. ”I simply love my powers.”She allowed the others to lead the way to the cafeteria, finding herself just behind the two girls, but in front of the one male of their group. The walk was mostly filled with typical small talk. While Orchid was likely not as hungry as the other two ladies, but she had skipped breakfast, and that was certainly having its effects on her. She could feel her stomach quietly rumbling along the way.
Making her way to the line, she merely joined the other two ladies in grabbing herself a couple of slices of pizza, as well as a bottle of Sprite. She strut her way over to the table with the others and sat down quietly, taking a few bites of her own food as the others did. She took a sip of her beverage, then set the bottle down on the table as Kerrigan proclaimed her hunger. She gave a light laugh at Christian’s comment.
It was then that the girl opened up the floor for questions. In truth, if Orchid had any questions she would not have been afraid to ask Narcissa herself. The Latina was anything but a coward, even against someone with a reputation like the fiery blonde’s. A reputation which Megan took upon herself to ask about, inquiring to Kerrigan whether or not Narcissa was as bad as she’d heard. Christian tried to reassure the clawed girl by justifying her attitude, to which Orchid couldn’t help but respond with another light laugh.”You certainly know how to paint a picture,” she replied with a shrug. She took another bite of her pizza, followed by a sip of her Sprite, then spoke up once more. ”To be completely honest, I’d be a little disappointed if she isn’t as bad as they say she is. I always was a sucker for a dominating woman.”((OOC: Sorry for the s**t post. X.x)) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☥ Daylight devours your unguarded hours...xxx.. Burnt and charred, this bride of scars...xxxxxx. Scorch Robert Mason Jr.
Alpha - Team Library to Music Room - Location Time to relocate. - Currently The conversation was going well; friendly chitchat, new faces, everything that constituted a normal conversation. For a second, Rob dared to hope that maybe, just maybe, the verbal attack on the Alpha's would take a recess. He almost blamed himself when he heard that voice again, only now it had an echo through the comm units that made it even harder to ignore. Like a fish to the hook, he was certainly sizing up the bait laid out for him. It didn't matter whether or not it achieved anything, it was more his need to show he wasn't afraid of the scary Omega Leader. All she was was a school yard bully. Confronting her would probably end up just as well as the countless other confrontations Rob had triggered, provided everyone in the room suddenly forgot they had powers.
But then, like music to the fire bugs ears, Raine offered the chances to join her escape to the music room, and judging by her body language, it was an escape. "Good idea," he said quickly as he stood up to return the book. The only problem with the plan was if he followed and the other two didn't, Varis seemed the type to put himself in a position to learn, first hand, just how much bite went with Narcissa's bark. Probably a case of takes one to know one, since five more minutes and the redhead would be staring slightly up at the premenstrual blonde. Rob gave a barely visible shrug, wishing Varis all the luck in the world.
Casually walking over to return the book to the shelf, he headed for the door, making sure he timed the distance perfectly so he would finish his next rant just before he was technically outside of the library. "I'm not sure if it's her accent, or her pronunciation, or if it is just the sound of her voice; but it certainly tends to grate after a while. Explains why the Omega's are always so grumpy." With a strategic glance back at his target, Cissa, hopefully to single himself out in an attempt to avoid Varis and Tsukino taking the brunt of the blonde's next blow, Rob was out of the room and swiftly closing the gap between him and Raine on their way to the music room.
Upon arriving, Rob recognised the two faces already in the music room. Leo and.... Was it.... Au-rel-ie? If he kept running into his fellow new recruits like this, remembering which names go with what faces wouldn't turn out to be overly difficult. By now Raine had her cello, reminding Rob just where he was and the fact that he stood out like a saw thumb without any inclination of grabbing an instrument. It was the much more merciful option, to those that had ears. That was when a quick flash caught his attention, and he focused back on Raine, who looked as if she was scared she would hurt her cello. She was obviously shaken up about something. Rob could guess what, or who, it was, but the chance of him being wrong was too great to risk saying it. Wither way, it seemed Raine needed a distraction.
"So how long have you been playing?" Rob asked curiously, motioning to the sizable bowed string instrument. This was the first time he had been this close to a cello, probably the closest he'd been to most of the instruments housed in the room, and it held an elegance that was lost whenever he saw one on T.V. "And if you don't mind my asking, why the cello?"

Name: Leonardo Rossi Team: Alpha Location: Music Room Damn That British Blond... Leonardo froze as Narcissa’s voice came over the comm unit that was attached to his belt. That female posh British accent always gave him chills down his spine. Picking up the comm unit with lightning fast speed, Leo listened intently to what the blond fireball had to say. So it seemed that one of the Alphas… or perhaps a few of them, had unlocked Cissa’s ire. Leo instantly came to the conclusion that it was some newbies messing around or something. Maybe that should have been lesson one of Alpha orientation: there be dragons… and that dragon’s name was Narcissa. And no doubt Cissa had broadcast the message to all of the members of the Junior Teams to embarrass Bella. That got Leonardo fired up more than anything. Just why was Cissa the leader of a Junior Team anyways? It just wasn’t right in his eyes. There was just no way that such a selfish and stuck-up person could be leading a team of mutants into battle. Ever.
After looking awkwardly over to Aurelie, Leo stated, “That’s Narcissa for you…” and as he finished saying this, Raine stepped in. Although she flashed a small smile at the both of them, she seemed perturbed about something… no doubt the recent sneering remarks from Cissa. She had a certain rushed gait in her walk and since her face was etched with such stress, Leonardo came to the conclusion that Raine was more than likely present at the events that lead Cissa to issue the mansion-wide warning to Bella… if not the instigator. He noticed the small cackling arcs of electricity that danced around her hand as she retrieved her instrument (he wasn’t sure what it was). Leonardo instantly felt sorry for her. He didn’t even know her very well, but anyone who has to put up with that sort of psychological abuse didn’t deserve it. Now he wished that he had been there to stand up for her… or at least knock some sense into Narcissa, because from Cissa’s smug tone and Raine’s current disposition, it seemed the electrokinetic had lost whatever sort of row she was having with the Sun Queen.
Leonardo hesitated for a moment before stepping over to Raine and hopefully getting her attention before she started playing. “Look… I know this probably isn’t the best time to give you some heart-to-heart advice…” he knew that sometimes, people just wanted to be left alone, “but I need you to hear me out for a minute. I don’t really know what just happened… but I’ve got a good gist of it. She’s getting inside of your head, Raine. You can’t let that happen… ever. See, people like Narcissa get some sort of sick pleasure out of treating other people like dirt, because they sincerely believe that they’re better than everyone else. She probably came from some hoity toity rich family where everything was handed to her and she’s used to people bowing down to her. Take it from a guy who’s been there… you can never let that woman get to you. Because then eventually she’ll control you, and that’s the worst that can happen. No one, no matter how powerful, seductive, or intelligent, should be able to take the best of what you’ve got up there,” he pointed with his index finger at Raine’s forehead. He knew what it was like for someone to manipulate him… Nadine Portman made sure of that. Then again, Leonardo just ran away from his problem instead of standing up to it… and Raine didn’t really have that choice. Sure, she could leave the mansion, but that would mean that Cissa would win. When Leo left S.H.I.E.L.D. that meant that Portman lost… so things were a bit different here.
After taking a deep sigh, Leo spoke, “Hey, Aurelie and I were thinking of going out into the town and hanging out.” Not necessarily true… he had only suggested the idea moments beforehand. “You’re welcome to tag along if you want… it could help you blow off some steam. Unless you’re content with staying here, that’s fine.” Whenever Leonardo was done with a training session or mission where Portman got on his very last nerve, he knew that all he wanted to do was be as far away from the witch as possible.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠The Kitchen Eli walked about the school grounds after zoning out and remaining outside. He wasn't quite sure where to go. Look for the others? Nah. It wasn't his thing. Maybe he could go train some, or for kicks play around in the science lab. he always favored his solitude there. Not many people ventured into a class room after class was over. His stomach growled and he figured it'd be best to satisfy his stomach's call for nourishment. Taking a few steps forward as if about to bound into a sprint, he quickly stopped as he realized he didn't have his board on him. His usual mode of transportation. "Looks like I'm walking from here.." He mumbled to himself. So began the begrudging trek. After a few what seemed like centuries, but were truly minutes, Eli made it to his destination and began to prepare food. A peanut butter and honey banana sandwich, or three on toasted white bread with a glass of milk. Sitting down he leaned back in his chair and began to eat. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ If you could flick the switch and open your third eye, and see we should never be afraid to die. Rise up and take the power back, it's time the fat cat's had a heart attack. OOC ↠ I'm back, sorry for the low quality post. i'll be posting more this weekend (gonna be bed ridden with pulled teeth and pain killers). See you all this weekend ^.^

♬ Team: Alpha xxxx♬ Mutation: Telekineticxxxx♬ Location: Music Room Her hand made the perfect cup for her chin, yes... but with how long she'd sat like that, the trepidations of needles started to go through her elbow, alerting her to move before the feeling of a muscle being “asleep” became completely uncomfortable. She shifted to the other, blue eyes solely on Leo as he re-told the story of what had happened during their last mission. They widened a fraction when the word vampire fell from his mouth – shaking her head with incredulity. “Fun times.” Aurelie said with an uncertain lilt to her tone.
“I wonder what I would have been...” She mused airily, trying to muster a few things that were far more ridiculous than a feathered chicken suit. "Were you the only vampire?" Because this subject was just to interesting for her not to inquire about.
She giggled softly when he reconfirmed her suspicions to his mutation, shoulders shaking with slight movements to only confirm her mirth. “You didn't... but I was hoping I was right.” Else she'd look like an idiot, on top of being an awkward duck. Could he mimic that? Her obvious failings in new situations? God she hoped not...
Part of her was amazed that she'd held his attention this long, that he listened to her ramble on about her old lifestyle... Most would find it boring... tedious. And she counted her lucky stars that he didn't catch the significance of dancing; that was so not something she was ready to face. Nice as Leo was, she didn't want to get into that.
And he segued perfectly into getting out of the music room, despite the fact that he'd not played a song for her yet. Mentally, Aurelie made a note to weasel one out of him at a later date. “Actually... yeah.. practicing will likely just get Bella to be creeping in on us again.” She said, smiling to indicated she was joking. “I think I'll find somewhere off the campus to practice; someone with sound manipulation will probably kill my skills on the piano enough to bruise my pride.” Again, she was joking... but she certainly did assume that Bella would be more gifted in the ways of music.
“I already got all settled into my room.” One finger tapped her temple. “Telekinesis makes for a fast unpacking job.” But she stood then from the bench of the piano, ready to go where he lead. “Thanks for that though... how about you show me where your favorite spot off campus is?” She'd show him hers, but he'd likely find the serenity she often sought trite and monotonous.
It was then that a british lilt sounded on her comm, causing Aurelie's sapphire orbs to drift down to her wrist. ““Dearest, Isabella—This is belittling slut speaking. There are several of your children in the library at the moment, which may be returned to you a little... Damaged. I’d like to take a moment to allow new recruits the time to ask Aren Aquene what happens when I blast someone in the face… Though perhaps I’ll take pity, and aim away from the head…Surely, they don’t need both arms for your pathetic training sessions… Put a muzzle your puppies, Stone.”
“And if you don’t… I will.”
“That... was pleasant.” She remarked sarcasm laden in her voice, tilting her head slightly. “I take it that was Narcissa Stone.. but who is Aren Aquene?” Was she going to need a study guide to know everyone on the teams? “And why is she blasting people?” Already, the deep seated warning Scott had given her was enough to cause her lunch to sour on her stomach. He really hadn't been kidding. He confirmed her suspicion that the voice over the comm belonged to the person everyone was being warned about. And she shook her head. “She sounds brutal.” More so than what she'd been warned of.
A girl walked in then, grabbing a cello, her demeanor seething despite the smile she'd tossed in their direction. Aurelie cast a look at Leo, as if to urge him to do something to make the girl feel better. Rob, a guy she had recognized from their initial introductions to the team followed after, and she gave a small wave of her fingers, now standing in front of the piano, it was hard to tell of the first pair there who had been playing.
Leo did just as Aurelie would have suggested, deciding to console the girl, who he probably knew. And she'd give him one more star to his personality: the animal mimic gave one hell of a pep talk. Slowly, Aurelie's feet brought her over to the others, the stride a bit more shy than what she was normally. But today was her first day... things would eventually even out... right?
“If you're mad about anything that awful thing on the comm had to say, don't worry about it... I keep getting the distinct impression that no one likes her anyway.” Not that she'd make an opinion until officially meeting her... but it was a considerable effort not to just go with the flow and flat out just not like the woman.
Aurelie didn't chance trying to shake hands with static dancing in the air so easily. “I'm Aurelie by the way...” And she really hoped this girl was an Alpha. “And we were about to head out... and the more company, the better the excursion will be.” Because otherwise, she was going to bore Leo to tears.
"Though, we'd not decided just where we were going to go..." And she had to wonder if it was safe for the electric girl to go anywhere while it was raining so heavily. Of course, Aurelie could shield her, but that would make the brunette rely on her abilities, completely blind. And the telekinetic couldn't blame her if she decided that it wasn't a good idea.

Omega – I can’t think of anythingJacen listened as the man explained the dish, finishing off his plateful before wiping his lips with his sleeve. The roll of paper-towels sitting next to his cross-legged form evidently not even coming to mind. “Well, I thought it was excellent bobiagant.” He said cheerily, managing to horrifically botch the name of the beef without even trying. The foray into Roland’s psychological problems only made him raise his eyebrows in surprise. He had seen the golden-eyed man in Limbo go-as Roland called it- beserker, but Jacen had figured it was part of the transformation getting to him, like Adam’s or Shandra’s had. “Um, glad you’re better then?” He didn’t really know what to say to that, but the fact that his team-member hadn’t spent time in solitary did give him a tinge of reassurance. Ah, the ever present quality of his origin and powers. Essentially the ‘how’s the weather,’ conversation cliché for the Academy. Jacen didn’t mind of course, he just wished he was better at telling it. “Well, I grew up on an island in the south pacific cuz my parents lived there, and it wasn’t very westernized, so they still had all sorts of cool traditions and stuff. Then my powers came in and my mom figured it was time for to get into the real world-“ One might note a tinge of bitterness in Jacen’s voice at that note. Leaving had not been his choice. “-and learn how to control them, so I went to Muir Island, that place in Scotland for mutants, for a bit. before we got kidnapped. But we escaped, and then I came here.” Confusing? Perfectly acceptable. Narcissa’s comm-link broadcast interrupted him there, illiciting a sigh as Jacen listened to his leader’s voice squak from his wrist. Why couldn’t people just leave her alone? He had worked it out; stay the hell outta her way, and she doesn’t hate you and make you catch fire. “As for powers…” He always struggled at explaining his mutation. “I guess Leion says it best, I’m like the Octopus version of Spider-man.” So a cop-out answer will work. “What about you? Logan seemed not to want to scrape you off his boot.” Jacen turned, looking to the doorway as that one guy from Catalina with the bebe-fingers walked in. “Hey! You’re that one guy!” Jacen called from the counter-top, waving to Eli So I’ll just say hi.

Team Alpha's Moonlight Name: Tsukino Kazuki Ability: Barrier Creation Location: Music Room Thoughts: Finally My chance to sing! Tsukino was happy to finally get out of that library. She walked down the path Raine had taken to get to the Music room.Tsukino had her sheet music in a folder along with her book in her hand.Sheet music for her was only slightly different from the kind of sheet music musicians read.It has a staff with sixteenth notes, quarter notes, and even whole notes, but has lyrics underneath the markings that showed her how to sing the words. She was very excited because she would be practicing a song she had been singing parts of for a while but never the whole thing.Tsukino was coming up on the music room and listened to her comm to see if Miss Narcissa had any other b**** remarks to make.
As she entered the Music room her ears were filled with the sounds of familiar voices.Well they might as well have a party in here since quite a few of the alphas were here. She looked over to See Aurelie and Leo,along with her new friends Robert and Raine.Tsukino waved at everyone inside as she found herself a stand to hold her Lyrics so it would be easier to read without the hassle of holding it.She stared at everyone else and decided that she needed sing at a mezzo piano or mezzo forte, so she wouldnt bother the others as they spoke amongst themselves. She looked at the words and began to feel the music as she opened her mouth."Listen...To the song here in my heart. A melody that starts but I cant complete.."She let the verbrato resonate on the last note as she took a breath."Listen mhmm", She ad libbed slightly,"to the song from deep within. Its only beggining to find release." She readied herself for the chorus."Oh the time has come for my dreams to be heard they will not be pushed aside and turned.Into your own all cause you wont Listen." She belted out the last note as she entered the main chorus. She began to feel as if it were only her in the room as she sung the song Acapella for the moment.
She pushed her way through the main chorus and successfully did all of her repeats. She was really liking this song.Tsukino hoped that she wasnt too loud either as she sang the beautiful song. She swiftly came too the vamp and wanted to finish this song big.
"I don't know where I belong But I'll be moving on If you don't, if you won't Listen to the song here in my heart A melody I start, but I will complete
Oh now I am done believing you You don't know not what I am feeling I'm more than what you've made of me I followed the voice you think you gave to me
But now I got to find my own My Own."
Tsukino belted out the last note as she began the decrescendo. She smiled as she finished the song and wondered if the school had talent shows. If so she would love to be apart of one of them. She smiled to herself and sighed as she looked around at everyone else.

Team: Alpha's Winter Wolf Location: Headed to the Music before he did something to stupid
Seeing his new team go and head out Varis dropped his chair just right that any and all attention left in the room after Rob's comment would be at him as he opened the door he was laughing quietly to himself though with his laugh it was still kind of loud. As he walked he followed [Tsukino to the music room and entered with just enough time to hear her sing the last few lines of a song he was familiar with, then again anything not within his his personal genre tastes he usually didn't listen.
As she finished Varis clapped not to be disrespectful but he had to admit the girl could sing as he watched and leaned in the doorway he himself began singing a traditional song of ireland it was the only Gaelic he knew and he could translate it after he sang it for anyone listening. As he began his accent with his english disappeared and it was replaced by melodic notes of the Gaelic language as he looked around the room to those still there, Tsukino, Rob and Raine. He wondered what the reaction of his new found friends would be if they heard him singing like this after his attitude in the library. "Céad slán ag sléibhte maorga chondae Dhún na nGall Agus dhá chéad slán ag an Earagal ard, ina stua os cionn caor 's call Nuair a ghluais mise thart le loch Dhún Lúich, go ciúin sa ghleann ina luí I mo dhiaidh bhí Gleanntáin Ghlas' Ghaoth Dobhair, is beag nár bhris mo chroí.
Ag taisteal domh amach fríd chnoic Ghleann Domhain, 's an Mhucais ar mo chúl Ní miste domh 'rá le brón 's le crá, ghur fhreasach a shil mise súil Go 'Meiriceá siar, a bhí mo thriall, i bhfad thar an fharraige mhór D'fhág mé slán ar feadh seal ag Dún na nGall, 's ag Gleanntáin Ghlas' Ghaoth Dobhair.
Níorbh é mo mhiansa imeacht ariamh ó mo thír bheag dhílis féin Ach trom lámh Gall, le cluain 's le feall, a thiomáin mé i gcéin B'é rún mo chroí'se pilleadh arís, nuair a dhéanfainn beagán stór 'S deireadh mo shaoil a chaitheamh le'm ghaoil, fá Ghleanntáin Ghlas' Ghaoth Dobhair.
Slán, slán go fóill a Dhún na nGall, a chondae shéimh gan smál 'S do d'fheara breá in am an ghá, nár umhlaigh riamh roimh Ghall Tá áit i mo chroí do gach fear a gach mnaoi, 's gach páiste beag agus mór Atá beo go buan, gan bhuairt gan ghruaim, fá Ghleanntáin Ghlas' Ghaoth Dobhair.." As the last note fell gently away from his lips he realized he had remained in the doorway throughout the song and finally pushed off of the doorframe and entered in earnest.

(If I missed anything or anyone be sure to drop me a pm.)
Bianca was glad that Reggie had taken her awkward conversation starter and went with it. The girl went on to say that she enjoyed the rain and that were she not hungry she might have stayed outside a little longer. Bianca nodded in reply as she was currently debating staying outside even if she was hungry. Lately she had been neglecting mealtimes just to avoid being around others. Thankfully she was able to blame it on her now 'flimsy' mind and how there were times when she just...forgot. Though in all honesty there were times when she forgot because she was busy doing something else. Perhaps she should focus more on eating so she didn't get too skinny. Her brother would never let her hear the end of it if she allowed herself to get, how was it he put it, supermodel skinny? Personally she didn't see the problem with that but once he got things in his head there was no arguing with him. What was she doing again? Oh right. "Yes it is tempting to stay outside. The rain might still be after we eat though."
Were she not already on her way to eat with company she would certainly ditch to stay outside. It would be rude if she did though now that she had basically agreed. Bianca nodded attempting an amused smile at the girl's joke of not wanting to wither away. She was pleased that she was at least moderately successful in her attempt. If she were not so odd herself (especially now all things considered) Bianca might have thought the other girl odd or weird. As it was however she simply noticed Reggie was different and no more. Different wasn't so bad. As she was asked if she was always so jumpy Bianca gave her a somewhat confused look. Was she hopping around? Or did she mean it in an entirely different way? Not knowing exactly how it was meant Bianca did not know exactly how to respond. Shrugging she did her best to address the question at hand. "Uh no not usually or at least I don't think so. How exactly am I...jumpy anyway? I can try and stop if it bugs you."
She had not failed to notice that she had also been compared to a rabbit. It was a comparison that Bianca didn't fully understand. She was not fluffy and certainly didn't have body hair. Was the girl meaning the timid nature that she was currently displaying? That was the only thing that could possibly make sense after all. Reggie answered the boy saying she was fine with him coming as well and Bianca nodded her head slightly. There that was settled. As Reggie answered the boy's question about the private meeting Bianca didn't exactly understand why they would need to know each other first. Strangers made private meetings to get to know each other better right? As she didn't get the slight innuendo being tossed around it didn't make her uncomfortable at all. Then Reggie agreed knowing the boy's name would be good and Bianca was about to nod in agreement with the other girl called her out on her pause. Well that didn't look good on her what so ever.
Biting her lower lip and fighting back the urge to blush Bianca let the other girl finish and despite hearing that it was fine felt the need to defend herself. "I maintain that I was simply...building up suspense." Yes that would suffice for an excuse for sure. As an added bonus she tapped into her memory banks and even managed a small sweet smile to go along with her excuse. Bianca didn't offer her hand to the man since currently she wasn't sure she wanted to come into physical contact with anyone. Of course she wouldn't outright refuse him should he want to shake her hand. Then suddenly another woman (Lexi) passed them all by and offered them a hello. Bianca waved somewhat halfheartedly in response considering how quickly the girl was off as soon as she had arrived. Oh well that would be an introduction for another day it seemed. Sighing slightly Bianca was more than ready to head inside and eat so she could get back outside and enjoy the rain more. That is unless something else came up while she was inside.
Suddenly a voice echoed over her comm that Bianca had only heard once or twice personally. The first time being in Catalina when the blond was busy doing something else in the kitchen. It was something that Bianca remembered well considering it had been her first meeting with Dom. Well that and it was also her very awkward first meeting with Bella. Not that it had been awkward at the time of course.Still just thinking about it now was enough to make Bianca feel odd about the entire thing. As she became momentarily lost in thought Cissa finished her message and Bianca felt a slight tinge of anger towards the blond for her treatment of Bella. It was something Bianca would never ever act on all things considered but it felt good in the moment. Hopefully the blond didn't injure anybody.
(Edited. Forgot the broadcast message.)

Omega: Cafeteria - Oh, come on now... Kerrigan smiled as the rest of the group sat down at the table - she'd been doing a lot of that today it seemed. Apparently she was not the only hungry one - it made her feel like less of a pig. Of course, watching the strange condiments that Megan poured onto her pizza also made her feel a little better about herself, for some strange reason. She wasn't sure how anyone could stand the taste of bleu cheese, though she tried to keep that thought from showing on her facial expression. Christian made a joke about pizza being an instant "in" to her good side, Kerrigan casting her green eyes dangerously over to him. " Hey, It never hurts to appease the redheads on this team," she spoke with a crooked grin, a soft wink signaling that she was kidding around with him. Of course, then the conversation turned to theta leader, the new members of the team asking if Cissa was as bad as the rumors said she was. It was always a tricky question for her to answer considering how close she was to the blonde - how many other sides of her she'd seen as opposed to almost everyone else. Thankfully, Christian stepped in and gave his interpretation, causing Kerrigan to laugh. Orchid must have found it about as funny as she did, because the girl did laugh, going on to express her expectations that the blonde be exactly as she had already been described. If she loved a dominating woman, she was going to really enjoy the Omegas. " You know, there is a reason why the Omegas are called in for the more dangerous missions. The girl knows how to get results and keep a team together. I mean, you've already dodged the most dangerous bullet-," she started, only to have the comms echo with the blonde's voice sending a message to the Alpha leader. She winced just a little bit, though the timing couldn't have been better. Clearing her throat, her eyebrows raised slightly as she leaned forward onto her elbows on the table, tossing her red curls over her shoulder. " And, that is the perfect example. You're uniforms are red and black, so that's automatically on your side. Now, you just have to keep your heads out of your asses and don't do anything stupid and you'll be fine. I think it'll all become a bit more clear in the next DR session. She runs a tight ship, but it pays off - we're a pretty well-oiled machine when it comes to the field." She could only hope that she was a bit more…diplomatic about the whole situation than her teammate, though she couldn't say that his description was wrong by any means. They would see - it wasn't necessarily as bad as others made it out to be. Not to mention, Frost probably wouldn't have promoted them to the Omegas if they hadn't already showed promise and the ability to handle the pressure.
