Draven had been excited to see they were nearing something. Until they actually hit something, that is. More surprising than hitting rocks, however, was the fact that the squid helped them out. Again, Draven thought it would be best not to cross Cricket.
When he finally reached the shore, he'd taken a bit to rest and get used to being on land again. The island was clearly a strange place...and it appeared that the students were on their own. Supplies had been left for them, but still. Odd that they were alone. However, after the strange figure had appeared and disappeared, and other students began to wander off, he decided it was time to grab his own bag and get this adventure started.
Feeling sturdy on his feet again, the demon walked over and grabbed a brown bag and picked up a wooden toy sword. The wooden sword had a rather 'adventuring' feel to it.
With his pack and his weapon, he turned and decided it might be a nice idea to have a bit of a look around. He didn't plan on wandering off to far alone, but the fog seemed to be a bit thick....

In all total honesty, Belladonna should have been prepared for the boat to sink. It was kind of an inevitability given their last field trip, and when she seriously thought about it, the train ride she had gone on first had proved horribly disastrous as well. Of course, this whole time to think thing came about as the witch was hauling her a** to the shore, glad she at least had learned how to swim once long ago. Her sisters had deemed it a useless lesson (witches never went in a lot of water!) but Belladonna was now thanking Hecate and Diana and any other goddess she could think of for the ability to do a sort-of breaststroke to the shore. But by the time she reached said shore, the witch had run out of any sort of good thoughts since she had also run out of gratefulness for surviving and was instead wondering about the others. Amrita seemed like she wouldn't know how to swim, but Belladonna was hoping that someone had given the girl a ride. Or... Something.
"Well!" Was all she could manage as she haggardly arrived, late and very much soaked. A quick check of her skellyphone proved it useless (as she had figured and boo hiss, Daddy was going to be mad about it being waterlogged!) so instead, Belladonna only trudged forward to the table. HHMMM. What to chose, what to chose... Last time she had chosen a nice wreath that had proved useful, but this time... This time it was the wooden sword for her. After all, the book would provide entertainment, the sword would provide bashing in heads from a nice distance. Grabbing up also a satchel that she threw across herself, the witch turned and saw none other than Yaya. Something odd compelled her to go to the girl, where she leaned down to her.
"You feeling ok, Yaya?" The witch asked, giving her a wet hug before thinking better of it. "This is... A little familiar, don't you think?" She asked, her words cryptic and her whole body tense with something she didn't want to name. "Let me know if you need anything, ok? I can't use my skellyphone, but... Send brain waves or something." She smiled at her, gave her another hug and darted off. A heavy emotion was now pressing on the witch's shoulders as she hurried along, stopping to give Kasumi a hug and mumbling something about needing to have a very, very, VERY long talk after all this was over before running off again. If she started crying at least she had the water to use for a cover-up.
But before she could even consider the prospect of such, the witch's head snapped up and she let out one very long scream: "DAISUKE!!!!"

Most students had already wandered off themselves by now.. Mei on the other hand, was torn about leaving from this spot. Was it really so wise to split up like this? Especially after the whole hooded figure encounter. No, she didn't feel one bit of comfort on this island, and she doubt that anywhere she went, she would feel any better.
In any case, now was a great time to re-model her dress. Shredding it apart as she had before, she took off enough that she could move without worry of snagging on things. This time, Ms. Winters would not change it. She wanted her old clothes back. She hated this! And to walk around some Jack damned island in this, this----DRESS!? Bloody Mary! This was a nightmare! At least for the Christmas Raid, they got to choose what they wore!
Once finished, she moved towards a familiar face from her crew; tapping Vaith lightly on the shoulder. "You survived to?" She asked, grinning. "I think everyone is leaving now, so it might be wise to follow after." She added, unsure if he was ready to leave or not. "See ya'." With a small wave, she sprinted off.

With a huff, a very wet and tired Colette crawled onto the shore. She had been swimming for what felt like ages. Why? Her boat crashed -- just crashed! It was all too similar to the last field trip, and she wondered why she didn't she see that coming. Colette looked up toward a light source further on shore and tried to move her wet and heavy hair out of her face, but she knew it was hopeless and doubted a hair dryer was nearby. The hair would only get in the way now. Reaching under her arm-warmer for a hair-scrunchy, Colette took it from her wrist and put her hair up in a bun. There! Much less troublesome.
The glowing monument, mass of students, and other two buildings were definitely eye catching on the shore. Colette made her way up and observed students grabbing packs and weapons from tables - it really was similar to the last field trip. She didn't want to face it, but she knew what she had to do. More fending for herself. How wonderful.
"Might as well get my stuff now," she murmured to herself. Colette grabbed a knapsack and put it on before stopping and staring at the table of weapons. "..." She knew it was a stretch based off her luck and the situation, but she tried to summon her swords. Nothing - of course! Sighing, Colette grabbed a wooden toy sword too. It felt strange, and she shrugged while reaching for another with her left hand. It looked like there were plenty anyway, couldn't hurt. She was definitely used to wielding two and felt more comfortable.
All she had to do now was.. uh. What did she do now? Colette looked out into the dominating fog and then over at handful of unfamiliar students. What were her chances of finding one miraculous face she knew? Pretty low, she guessed. Maybe someone she knew had already wandered off.. Colette would take the chance over awkward introductions with strangers. Strolling into the fog, Colette sighed. "Here goes nothing."

There was only time to take two running steps before she was flying across the distance, throwing herself against him and letting out a tiny sigh of relief. "Thank you for being so solid right now." She whispered, crumbling against him for a moment. Too many things were too similar right now and it took her a minute to focus fully on who was in front of her. Pink eyes followed his blue ones, watching as he pressed his nose against her own and before she could stop herself, Belladonna's hands were clamped against the side of his face, her eyes wide for one long second before she pulled him into a proper kiss. "Please don't go crazy..." She mumbled, pulling away and moving her hands down to hold his.
"Hey Lilura, glad you're safe Nyrikki..." Belladonna waved to the small group gathering, taking one step closer so that she was almost standing on top of Daisuke and looked around. "We should probably move away from here so we don't get attacked, you know?" Though she was being authorotative, anyone close enough to see through the fog would notice her cheeks were a very bright red. Now she took one step away from Daisuke, raising her hand through the fog and waving it frantically, her other hand still clutching his.
"HEY! If anyone wants to join our group, we're about to leave! You're free to come along, just hurry up! We don't want you getting lost!" And it was true, anyone wishing to join their group just had to come over and show interest. Idly, Belladonna hoped they found Whisper soon too... She was so nice and the witch didn't want her to have to be alone during all this!

Daisuke blushed and looked off to the side when she pulled away. Go crazy? Why would he go crazy? He should ask her about it at some point but for now, they were right. They should sort out a plan of action. He smiled and nodded, turning around to face the two reapers again, giving Bella's hand a gentle squeeze.
"Nyyrikki's right. We might as well, gotta start somewhere." He smiled feeling much happier now that his witch was here, although the fog was thick, he was sure four of them would manage to make their way through it and whoever else who wanted to join their small group.
"Hmm Wait... Wouldn't the fog be thicker on the shoreline?" He had no idea how this strange island worked. He looked around, spotting the black cat ( Night ) of concern from before as he lifted his hand to wave him over. "Hey! Over here. Were grouping up, wanna join us?" He called, hoping the cat boy would notice them. Besides, it seemed Lilura was very fond of him. Just as an observation.

They hadn't gone too far though the fog made it feel that way. Soon their part was back, Christof in various people's arms, heading off to the patch the patchwork back up to hopefully full health. Calder followed only so much as to get to the spot where Malodore decided to do his work and once they seemed to find a spot, he set Christof's bag down for him when he woke up. Calder already knew from experience from when the Igor fell down from being outside on the ledge of the demon dorms that Malodore could fix the boil up quickly. He wasn't even in as many parts as before.
Leaving them to it, Calder walked off, pulling out his map and note and wondered what exactly he would do with himself. So much for his vacation. He had been hoping for a fun trip, even better when they all were here and with Christof, but everyone was going to hell in a hand basket. He forgot that he and Christof hadn't really cleared things before going on this trip, and it nagged at him greatly. Looking about, he also knew that he didn't know enough people, especially anyone he could trust, to wander into the unknown with.
Sighing, he sat down on the beach, watching the waves rush up and receded for a while.
