Alex looked out the window and leanded on her arm,'I hate this I dont like make up, I dont like dresses, I HATE DRAMA!' she thought.

"We're here," Jack said as the carriage pulled up to a mansion with iron gates. He got out and helped Alex out walking her inside. The inside of the mansion was beautiful and painting were scattered everywhere. Jack looked around for a maid or butler. "Jacky!!!" A female voice screamed from the stairs and Jack laughed walking forward to hug the small woman dressed in a blue dress.

Alex looked around and smiled,"This place is beatiful." she tried to look like a engilish woman not a stealing girl off the streets,'This is going to be a long day I just know it.' she thought.

Jack pulled Alex forward. "Alex, this is my lovely sister Katey, Duchess of Nightingale." Katey smiled taking Alex's hand."Well, you are beautiful," she said. "Jack found a pretty girl, no? You must make him very happy. I know we're going to be best friends." Katey glanced back at Kinna and Logan. "What is she doing with him?" she turned to jack. jack sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "That's what I need to talk to you about later, Kat," he said.

Alex smiled,"Thank you your very pretty too, I hope I make him happy." she smiled and then looked back at Kinna and Logan,'I wonder whats going on between these guys.' she thought.

Jack leaned down to whisper," You'll learn in a second." He nodded to Kinna and they watched as she hugged Katey. "Mother,"she said. "This is Logan, a friend of jack's." Katey nodded to Logan who bowed and kissed her hand.

Alex bowed her head to his mother, she didnt know what to do but she wanted to have Jacks's parents respect so she acted nice and lady like. She smiled at his mother.

Jack chuckled and told Alex, "Katey is my sister, Alex. Kinna is her daughter making Kinna my niece." He looked at Logan. "That happens to being in an affair with my best friend," he grumbled glaring at Logan.

Alex smiled and looked Jack,"Oh...I went through that long ago that a real pretty sight, well mine wasn't." she held Jack's hand so he would calm down.

Jack sighed and smiled at her kissing her cheek. Katey grinned at them. SHe nodded and pulled them into the study. "So, Alex, tell me about yourself. Where do you live?"Katey picked up a glass and wine and gently sipped some looking at her. Jack glanced at Alex and sat next to her holding her hand.

Alex smiled and sat down in a chair and put her hands in her lap,"Well when I was younger my parents traveled to place to place, to keep me safe, we used to live in North America and then we lived longer in the Carribeans."

"Really?" Katey looked at Jack then back at Alex. "I assume Kinna did this, then." She motioned toward the dress and the hair. "She taught you this?"

Alex smiled and nodded,"She dressed me up..did my make up..and picked out a dress." she looked at the ground embaressed.

Katey chuckled and set her glass down. "Yes well, we will need to show you to the ton. They will want to hear the latest gossip in London." She got up and pulled Alex with her while a man strode through the door. "John, Honey, Jack is home." Katey pointed to Jack and John grinned walking to hug his brother in law. The man stayed downstairs while the women all went upstairs.
