Justin was deep in thought. He remembered when he spared Scarlett before. What made him give up the chance to kill her? He was beyond confused. Kamina teleported over to him, and Justin simply rubbed the turtle's head.

Scarlett sighed and finally stood again. "I'm gonna get fresh water." She said, going to the container and picking it up. She carried it out and dumped out the old water, then got more. She drank some, then just settled for staring out over the water in thought.

Justin held up a hand, trying to summon lightning from his fingertips, but nothing came out. He was a lot weaker then he thought. "s**t." He whispered.

Scarlett wondered if she and Justin needed to stay in the cave a while while he tried to get his strength back. he had shocked himself pretty badly. She sighed and returned a while later to the cave to see how he was.

Justin sighed. "I'm weak, and my powers don't work. Today's turned pretty bad, huh?" He asked himself.

Scarlett nodded, "Aye, but we'll have to wait it out. We'll stay here tonight and let you get your energy back." She said, handing him the water container in case he wanted some water.

Justin took the container, taking a swig of water. He stared at the cave roof, thinking about his current situation.

"I"m gonna get fire wood. You stay." Scarlett said, giving Justin a piercing look that told him he'd better stay there or he'd be in trouble. She walked out of the cave and disappeared in to the woods.

Justin sighed. "Great. I'm stuck in a cave with nothing to do." He said.

Scarlett came back an hour later with her arms full of firewood. She set the wood down and started a fire, then left to hunt. She came back with a boar and cooked it.

Justin looked up at Scarlett. Well, really, at the boar. He was really hungry.

Scarlett let the boar cook for a while, the sliced pieces off and gave some to Justin. She took some herself, then sliced a vein near the boars head, taking an empty container she carried for blood. She filled it and sipped at the boar's blood.

Justin took a bite of the meat, grateful for a meal. He then realized something. He owed Scarlett his LIFE! She saved him, even though they were enemies, and now she brought him food and took care of him. He couldn't exactly kill her in cold blood now.

Scarlett finished her food pretty quickly since she was hungry. Se sat back against the cave wall, looking out of the cave entrance for a look-out. She knew tonight was the new moon and that she would change in to her vampire half, but she didn't want to tell Justin that. (It's good to just feed on the boar's blood now to keep my thirst down.) She thought, drinking more of the boar's blood.

Justin saw Scarlett drinking the boar's blood. She had to be a vampire or something. He shrugged. He had met vampires before.
