Rosc nodded a bit at her explanation, wondering if it was that boil she was helping, with the drowning lessons, but he didn't ask. Even if he wanted to, he wouldn't have had time, because Alcie was running up and babbling to Sin. He didn't smile so much when he stood to take her hand and shake it, though he did give her a small nod and his face was relaxed. He didn't even have to introduce himself, Sin had that covered.

Of course, they had met before, Sin had introduced him at the Demon party, but he wasn't going to correct anyone.
He sat down again, crossing one leg over the other in a relaxed, almost bored fashion. Should he say anything? No, he didn't think so. This was ghoul time, if they wanted any input from him, they would ask.

Tybalt blinked in confusion at Vaith, unsure of how to reply. Was it really cool to be a ghost? He had no idea. To be honest, the thought never occurred to him.

"Happens?" He asked with a slight tilt of his head and a weak smile on his face; oblivious to Ren's presence not too far away. "Err, can you be a little more specific? I'm not quite sure I understand..." Had this boil never seen a ghost before? That was kind of surprising, seeing as there was a entire dorm full of them. Then again, all the ghosts here had a somewhat solid form while they were attending school. So perhaps he had seen one and he just didn't know it yet?

Mandy had been about to give the boil another piece of her mind after his comments about her when she felt the familiar tingle of being stared at intensely. Eyes quickly casting about in search for who it was she found no one turned her way leading to one conclusion. Guiltily Mandy slowly turned to Alwine, shuffling her feet and generally looking sorry for upsetting her.

"I know Winnie, its part of why I like ya, you can act so prim and proper and yet be tough when its needed. But just cause I know that stuff in my head doesn't mean that I'm not worrying about you here," she said this tapping her chest, just over her heart,"It would just make me feel better if you have someone to back you up, yeah?"

People could tell Mandy was definatly staring at her feet. Admitting what she had was a bit different for her, emotions weren't high on her list of conversation makers.

Hugging her back, Alcie was feeling pretty alright about this field trip so far. They were going to be on the water and she wasn't going to have to watch her own back. Little things though it was very reassuring. "I heard that! Hopefully this trip goes well!" Smirking, Alcie had hoped that for their Christmas town visit. "I wonder how big the boats are going to be... How are you even going to manage fitting all of your outfits into a 2 by 2? It almost seems impossible." Her wardrobe had expanded quite rapidly after she had become friends with Sin.

"Pleasure to meet you Rosc." He seemed... interesting. Though she was curious at Sin and Rosc's relationship. Alcie had observed them earlier before Sin had called out to her but she didn't want to assume anything. Her friend would tell her when the time was appropriate.

"I know what you mean..." said Alwine. "I really do. But it makes me feel bad when you worry."

The area around Alwine was getting a bit chilly. Those who studied the race of ghosts often knew that when ghosts gathered energy it would often suck the heat around them, creating cold spots. The Samara Doll was a touch curious as to the sudden need for energy. Was it because of that strange monster? Feh, she didn't care. She just wanted to get back to the room and back to the TV.

"I don't know if ghosts have hearts," the haunt trailed off. "But when I think about this trip being made without you, my body goes rigid... and it is more difficult to keep from phasing. Look, my shoes are starting to disappear! I hope Professor Blue doesn't teach dance as well as music..."

LATE. As was the usual…but whatever, she was finally here and that was all that mattered.

"Alright, so..." The pasty white, barely clothed monster breathed in contemplation, fingers sliding along the rim of her pants as brilliant sunlit eyes scanned the length of these so-called boat assignments. Despite the weather, this ghoul was partially dressed with skimpy shorts, an even skimpier layered top, and sneakers with a neutral colored purse looped over her left shoulder. Carefully brushed and settled across the left side of her face were dark blue strands of hair, freshly cut and groomed to perfection. The ghoul looked extra sporty in this outfit, bent over with gum popping in her mouth and very little make-up smeared across her face; but most importantly she looked ready for the fieldtrip to begin! Even if the teachers did not seem all too enthused and several of the students looked a bit worried in their approach, Natalia aimed to make the best of this trip...

Straightening up once her name was found; features somewhat scrunched as the other names below her boat number did not register as familiar, Natalia turned and searched the many faces for a one to talk to...be it friend or foe, that didn't even matter. She just wanted to spill her excitement onto someone! It was lucky that Whisper was one of the first she recognized, (not that she was looking for her brunette companion or anything...) and so with her tail lifted off the ground slightly and her hips swinging hastily, the ghoul reached out and tugged gently at the hellhounds hair…a smile lifting her cheeks and pinching her eyes.

"Doesn't look like we are on the same boat...bummer, huh??"

Viveca had come back to her room to find Victor holding a letter, requiring her to go to the lecture hall. She had already packed a small back of clothes and necessities for the field trip, so, scooping up Victor into her arms, she had headed out towards the hall.

Once in the hall she had found it hard to find seat, but listened anyway to the briefing. She quickly found her name on the list and skimmed her boatmates. To her surprise, she found that she was to be in the boat with the only two people she'd met thus far at school. Well, that would certainly take the sting out of having to leave Victor behind (her jaw had dropped at the announcement that there were to be no Minipets with them).

Looking around, she spotted the two familiar forms and pushed her way through the other students to get to them.

"Hi Sin! Alcie!" she greeted them. There was a third person with them, that she hadn't met yet.

"Hello," she said, making sure to include him. "I'm Viveca."

He blinked. Now that he thought about, he didn't actually know who Proffessor Malcolm was either. "You know, I don't know who he is either." Myr commented, shrugging. "I'm not even sure what he teaches." If they had known, they could have searched out his office, but since they didn't, that would have to do. "Might just want to go a little earlier in that case, so you can talk to him before everybody shows up."

He also didn't see that much of Sepheran either, despite every intention to. He just kept getting busy. "Mostly class," he responded, "And some club stuff. What about you?"

After watching and listening to the student chatter, Mei pushed herself away from her seat giving a good long stretch before making her way through the isle. She hated crowded places like this--she hated limited space. Weaving through the students as she moved by, she made her way for the exit. Honestly, there was no point in sitting around here any longer. The announcement was made, and she would have to prepare for tomorrow morning.

Her biggest problem was her HP supply.. She would need to call her father and ask him to bring a special supply for the trip. There was no way her usual source would cut it. And then there was the problem of her minipets.. Should she put them in the closet with the other minipets? Or should she leave them be, with a proper food supply? "Ugghhh." Ruffling her hair in irritation, she brushed her hair aside again as to not walk into something or someone with her vision blocked by hair. Was there going to be someone of school staff to watch over all the minipets? If there was, she felt a small amount of pity for them. That task would be more than enough to drive her insane--well, more than she already can be.

Lightly pushing past a random student, she offered a small apology as she continued her course. Eyes shifting, she spotted two ghouls chatting to one another, and let a smile appear. It was a shame that Natalia and Whisper were stuck on separate boats, especially when separate from each other. Oh well, they could always meet up on shore, right? Shrugging it off, she waved at the two, but was unsure if they noticed or not. She would have stopped to chat, but she needed to make quick arrangements for tomorrow. If she left it any later, then there was a good chance she wouldn't have her supply in time before the boarding---and she couldn't have that! No, she needed to be ready before her departure. She just hoped that her father would already be prepared for something like this.. After all, it was short notice.

After a short while of wandering, she managed to find Belladonna. she didn't want to interrupt the ghoul with anything, so she quietly waited for her opportunity so speak. When it finally arrived, she tapped the ghoul's shoulder lightly. "Hi...uh Belladonna right? I'm Whisper. I'm not sure if you remember me or not, I believe we met briefly at the auction? Or it might have been a class..." She paused, trying to remember for sure where it may have been, but quickly shook it off figuring the other ghoul would get what she meant. "It says that we are on the same boat, so I figured I'd come over say hi. I hope I'm not interrupting you or anything."

Then she felt the tug on her hair. It felt like a shock of electricity that ran through her body, and she had a feeling she knew who it was. She turned to see Natalia, in all her deliciously beautiful glory. She wanted to give her the biggest kiss possible, but she restrained herself. She simply grabbed the ghoul's hand and held it gently. "I know, I was really bummed when I saw that. I was really hoping I'd get some nice boat time with you."

She flicked her tail in a slightly irritated manner. She wanted to badly to be with the werelemur, but it seemed as though they would have to make up for hopefully later on in the trip.

Sepheran inwardly sighed, now he would have to get up even earlier. "I suppose I should...I just have to force myself to get up so early," Sephy crooned lightly. "I'm not exactly a morning person though...why do we have to leave in the early morning," Sepheran complained for the first time out loud. "Not that I have much of a choice..." the basilisk added giving in.

Tilting his head he listened to Myr as he talked about what he had been doing. When asked himself he chuckled lightly, "Pretty much the same...what club are you in?" Sepheran asked curiously. He still needed to get into a club too he just didn't know what to join.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 07, 2011 5:58 pm

"I can join you if you'd like," Myr said. "That way you're not the only one suffering." He chuckled. "I don't think there are very many students that are going to be looking forward to getting up that early anyway. I think a lot of us are more night people." That was probably an understatement, and Myr knew that he would be taking along some Mountain Doom, just to keep himself from being a grump.

He thought for a minute. "Um, let's see. I'm in the Skullinary Club, the Host Club, The Scario Kart club, and I've tried out for Miseree, but I haven't heard back from them yet." He hadn't realized just how many clubs he was involved in, and to make it worse, he was an officer in half of them. "You joined any yet?" He was fairly certain that Sepheran wasn't in any of the clubs he was in, but he could be wrong. He wasn't always the most observant in the world.

Efflo was attempting to make his way out of the auditorium, eager to get away from the boisterous crowd of chattering students, when a sudden chill washed over him. It was unnerving; the glow worms worked hard to keep his temperature very regulated and for something to be able to pull all their hard work away, well, his breath caught in his throat. He hurried forward, disliking the frigid embrace.

He rubbed his arms gently, pausing to look back over his shoulder. He still didn't understand a lot about the creatures of Halloweentown (not that he understood much about how he actually managed to function) and because of his lone wolf demeanor, he hadn't had any sort of chance to satisfy his curiosities. The undead boy unwittingly found himself staring at Alwine, as she stood near the icy spot. He sniffed the air, but it gave no clues. He inwardly cursed that lapsing into his horse form here would probably land him a detention. Things were so much clearer when you had hooves...

He was quiet, so quiet and she could tell the people being so close was probably the cause. She looked at him a moment and tried to give him a reassuring smile, but she knew she couldn't make him trust her friends. He would just have to slowly acclimate to the school, make some friends of his own. For all she knew he didn't really even trust her anymore, she had kind of socked him right in the face after all. For someone with a near phobia of having their eyes touched she was probably enemy #1. She didn't let the thought break her smile though and turned back to Alcie with a laugh.

"Oh don't remind me I almost cried when I saw it had to be 2X2! I'm going to have to re-pack tonight in a smaller case! Narrow it down to essentials, I'm bringing two swimsuits at LEAST though, I mean come on we're gonna be on a boat. Sunscreen is a must as well, I need at least one hat, a formal outfit, and I suppose I can make do with only a few casual outfits...and nightwear. Ugh! Oh well it won't be too bad and if we mix and match some outfits with one another we'll never be forced to wear the same thing twice!" She grinned at Alcyone and then smiled as she saw Vivi. Hey did the two demon ghouls already know one another? That was convenient.

"This is great we'll all be on the same boat! Vivi I was just complaining to Alcyone about the constraint on my packing. OH! Forgive me...Viveca this is Rosciel, Rosc for short, Rosc this is Viveca she's a new demon student." Sin smiled and seemed to relax with the ghouls nearby, she was glad they hadn't asked about Rosc. She really had no idea what she would sa-oh dear.

Sin caught Arachne's look from across the auditorium and wished she weren't standing anywhere near Rosciel. How could she have forgotten to tell Arachne about recent developments? Well really what was she supposed to say? She didn't even know herself what was really going on, she just knew that things between her and Rosc had gotten infinitely more complicated. She lifted her hand and gave Arachne a sheepish little wave, she would have to explain...once she figured out exactly how she could do that.

With Junko still working at cheering up the kitsune ghoul Seiji was glad for the distraction provided by his friend and the boggart he recognized from groanspring. From what he remembered Icky seemed pretty cool, so he was actually glad for the chance to meet him. Of course at current he looked half awake and irritated.

Regardless, the jikininki lifted his clawed hand in a mock salute, grinning at the half-beast as he was introduced. "Hey, nice to meet you." He grinned, offering a fist to Bul for a bump before sitting up in his seat. "Least you two get to be on the same boat, "he snorted, glancing sideways towards the futakushi-onna before Icky's question tugged his attention back to him. "Ghouls? Oh, Yaya's on your boat, Junko's friend. She's that water djinn, doesn't wear many clothes." They'd met, and he'd gotten the distinct impression that the ghoul wasn't sure if she liked him or not. Still, she'd been nice. "S'got a boil, though their relationship is odd." Not that they were shaky, but from what Junko had said had come to the conclusion that they had something of an open relationship. At least that was the impression he got. He could be wrong though.

Looking at his list again, the ghost noticed a familiar name on Junko's boat. "Looks like Sarias is with Junko. I wonder if they'll get along." He glanced up at Icky, smirking in a good natured sort of way. "Don't you two got like a thing going on?" He'd seen them dancing at the party, and after their back and forth banter on groanspring he just assumed. Then again, the banshee had been rather forward when she'd given him that tour of the dorms.
