Well that wasn't horribly unexpected, but at the same time Albali was not at all prepared for the Lieutenant to turn and fly (haha) at her. It was the first time that a Negaverse agent had attacked Echoes without any backup in appreciable range -- it was thankful that they were on an even power footing weren't they?
It was Tanzanite's voice that hissed in the girl's ears as the rod descended and made her ears ring: Mistake. Oh yeah she was absolutely mistaken to have underestimated that someone could have hurt her so very badly. Head over ankles she tumbled through the air before compensating and righting her wings.
"So you want to take me on? Alright! You'll be my first victim!" She had miscalculated the force of the blow because of their wings, that was all! Hadn't she punched a General of the Negaverse to the grass? Yes she had, and that was something to embolden the senshi as she flew in again towards Fayalite.

And another rock was hitting him in the back of the head. What was with him and rocks? Grunting he tried to fly higher, rubbing his head. Luckily hit head hadn't split open again.
Turning he found Alcyone and flew towards her, grinning. "We can fly, how cool is this?" His grin was cut off by the fact that someone was attacking his teammate. Furrowing his brows he glared down at Raite before pointing to him. "Meteor Shower!" That would teach him to back off.

Tanzanite was determined that it would not end like this.
It could not end like this.
Their scuffle was violent, bloody and downright below the belt. They rolled together through the skies, a pair of harpies dead set on ripping one another violently limb from bloody limb. They pitched through the air and nearly hit the ground several times, until finally the General seemed to have enough.
“Let them talk,” she hissed the words, her blackened arm reaching around Ares, hugging the Parallell senshi's body close. It lasted only long enough for her hand to find the base of Ares' wings, the bone that connected the right one to her shoulderblade, “I'll shut them up, one by one.”
The youma's mouth came down on the wing bone with a sickening crunch, and together they fell.

Maia grinned as her attack hit Zink, but it was short lived as she stared to itch and itch. The stupid it was growing and it was like tights and wool sweaters put together and what on earth it was on her back and she could barely reach it. She knew she should be fighting and did dhe ever try to continue, but she could help but to scratch more and more. This only caused her to freak out becaue more skin than she would have liked was coming away and it was disgusting.
Then something sprouted from her back and OH MY, she was in the sky and she was flying and everyone was flying and everyone had wings. She gaped openely before nearly beling knocked out the sky by a wayward attack and pulled her attentionnback to the matter at hand. The negaverse had to go.

Painite looked surprised when another Nega came flying, perhaps not entirely on purpose, into her fight with Boreas, but she certainly wasn't upset to see it!
"Hello there! Nice hit, buddy!" she called, grinning ear to ear, though she wasn't sure he'd be able to hear her. Anything that beat the senshi down was A-Okay in her book, regardless.
She growled when the senshi taunted her, though, following after him into the air. She wobbled on Mr. Saddles, gripping the handle for dear life. She felt like she would topple off. Why couldn't they fight on the ground? Wings beating at an irregular rhythm, she pushed herself toward Boreas.
"Stop running and fight me, little boy!"

Even his big serious business voice did absolutely nothing to quell the fighting below. Quail was sad, upset, pissed off even. The bodies below all mingled into one for him, lines blurred between 'right' and 'wrong'.
In his mind, everyone was wrong. This wasn't their home, nor their place to claim. Their morals meant little to the Guardian, their actions speaking loudest.
Intruders. Every last one of them.
The tiny bird dove, firing off a string of air bullets right at Castor. There was no rhyme or reason to his attacking, his method simply being attack whoever came the closest. The attack would feel like several tiny little bullets, thankfully not leaving any blood or holes behind, but still painful nonetheless. Likely also disorientating, with the new wings and all.
The Quail was already rounding to find someone else to attack.

Dusting himself off, Biotite took to the air again to lick his wounds. The meaty guy sure did a number on his face. He could feel the blood rushing into his forehead where bone connected to bone. He rubbed the back of his hand against his forehead and was about to divebomb someone when this little dude started screaming his head off!
What on earth did he get himself into?

His field, huh? Captain Alumo looked up as he heard someone shouting, almost snorting as he saw that it was coming from some little pip-squeak bird.
Really? Really??
This little brat really thought this field would belong to him once the Negaverse was through with it? Ha! They would claim not only this field, but all of Elysion! The Senshi would do best to back down if they wished to live to see another day.
Captain Alumo flapped his wings, though doing his best to stay as close as possible to the ground, aiming for the little brat bird with the big voice. He didn't really like animals and was all up for getting rid of them.
But then he noticed someone much closer. It was the Senshi who had attacked him before! The punk with the freezing wind. He would be much more enjoyable to kill.
With a twirl and a swing, Alumo brought his staff down, aiming to whack Sailor Boreas in the side.

The Negaverse lieutenant wavered unevenly in the air, the newness and complete alien-ness of the wings causing some amount of problems on this first flight. But still, she wasn't going to let that stop her from grinding this no-good Senshi into the dust. She pumped her wings once more, sending herself higher into the air as her opponent himself finally made it into the air.
She snickered at Ganymede as he questioned her. It looks like she had picked a real wuss. Or were all of the Senshi like this? What the heck was he doing in Elysion, on this battlefield, if he didn't want to fight? "The day you started to prance around in that little fuku," she answered to his second question. And true to her previous statement, she did indeed dive-domb on him, the curling iron aimed for his head.

Her ears rung from the force of the quail's demand as Alcyone flew higher and higher. It was still a struggle to adjust to the wings that held her aloft, though more and more was she becoming fond of them. Troublesome probably wouldn't be the word that the sailor soldier of storms would use to describe them, and as she spread them wide to catch a gust of air, she turned to glare straight at him.
"STRIKE OF TEMPEST'S THUNDER!" She called out, and immediately shuffled her wings to fly in the opposite direction from where the clouds began to thicken above the lieutenant. On her way she saw her fellow team member, grabbed his wrist and pulled him closer to the ground. "It is! But you'll want to stay away from this wind!"
*NOTE: Raite has been struck by a thunderstorm and is stuck for the next few minutes. Anybody within 10 yards from Lieutenant Raite is stuck as well, though receive no damage from the roll.

One of those mistakes I was talking about earlier - him hovering within reach. He lashed about a bit as he was brought down by Gunn, but ultimately through some effort or another kicked free, but the effect was the same. They were on the same level now. Very well. Another round then. the end would be the same. He she would go down. He was confident of that. Not that there was ever any doubt of that, as far as he was concerned.
"Do you think you can take better?" hnhnhnnn...

A little closer--a little bit closer--
And Bismuthite's feet touched the ground, and that meant his head was close enough for her to latch onto that stupidly pretty silver hair. With that grip, she attempted to slam him into the ground, face-first, with a knee in his solar plexus to help leverage him into the field. It hurt her chest like hell, a sharp pain, and when she coughed there was a little bit of red foam speckling the back of Bismuthite's coat.
Ooh, that wasn't good.

Thankfully the attack had not only hit... but it also stopped her from also flying RIGHT into the senshi. Where were the brakes on these things, she didn't exactly feel like getting into a head on collision... with a senshi for that matter.
But she DID have to admit... this senshi golf was pretty fun. It caused the flying rocks to stop too. Though the bruises she would have tomorrow can attest to their damage dealing abilities. "Victim? of yours? HAH." She laughed as the senshi suddenly flew at her... Suddenly she wished for a MANUAL on these things! Flapping a little harder she attempted to fly up... only to find herself flailing around "Goddamnit!"

If Ares had ever wondered what it felt like to be eaten alive, now she had an idea. The gaping maw of Tanzanite's arm tore a hole in her skin and then snapped the bone cleanly off. In spite of herself, the Senshi of Smoke screamed, blood-curdling and raw. It was as if someone had just bitten her arm off -- except Tanzanite was still hanging on, still tugging and tugging to get the maximum amount of pain out.
And damn, was she good at it.
Struggling to break free, Sailor Ares pressed her hand on Tanzanite's face, trying to force her thumb clear through the Nega's air. Then the wing was ripped clean, and with it, Ares too.
She began spiraling toward the ground below. Her one remaining wing struggled to catch air. At her feet, she saw the silver hair of Bismuthite. If she was going to go out here, then she would take someone with her. Like a bullet from above, Ares descended on the Nega feet-first, ready to rip his head clean from his body.
Gunn was there, ripping him to the ground, cleaning the zone for her strike. Her body arced through the air, leaving a trail of blood sprinkling down on everyone who had the misfortune to find themselves underneath her as she fell.

In just a few seconds, Boreas went from free flying to a caged bird. Three Negaverse officers had made their presence known. What the hell was he supposed to do? Never had he been faced with this many officers. Hell, he hadn't even encountered this many youma. However, he didn't have the choice to flee. No, he would stay and fight. He could do this. He could do this and do it well!
"I see you guys don't have any notions of fighting fair! Guess I'll have to make an example of one of you!"
Changing his flight path, he did a mid air flip and launched a full body tackle at Painite.
"Don't call me a little boy!"
