✮For no one will know.✮ Dusk smiled at the thought of the vampire king actually caring. "Well its good the king care for his people." She looked at him, "I'm going to assume that he was in power for a while. Wouldn't it seem someone as powerful as him just sacrificed himself. I mean yes it is quite noble. But wouldn't he have some kind of back up plan, some sort of third door instead of the first and second. Maybe im over analyzing things but i have heard that people thought it was strange." She closed her eyes and thought for a moment. "He could have had the answers i needed." She sighed. "Well thank you for your time, I will be on my way now. If i need anything i will come back here to find you" She waved good bye and was on her way to find Tuomas.

Crux watched the girl leave before returning to his position near the throne. The servant looked both at the Queen and the First Lieutenant, wondering if the intruder was still somewhere inside the castle.

The servant stiffened as a jolt shot through his form. Ryn was close by. He could smell it. Looking at the other occupants of the room, he wondered if they were aware of this as well.

"Crux...do you smell it?" Damien took a whiff of the air. Not only it smelled of the intruder and danger. There were others that he could smell. "I believe we have more company than we need."

Crux nodded to the Lieutenant. "Yes, I smell them. What should we do, sir?"

"Luciferius said he would be back. I think it is best to await his orders. I'm afraid the guests will have to defend themselves. The queen's safety is important right now." Damien shook his head.

The servant paused to think this over while giving the air another tentative check. "Ryn is near the Captain. Should we at least send some guards to be on hand?"

Ari couldn't help but hear the conversation between the two. Her heart gave a small lurch as she thought of even more danger lurking in the castle's grounds.
"Something needs to be done... Can't we do something?"

"Knowing Luciferius, he would like to deal with Ryn himself. Though...I worry about the other intruders. We're at our limit here with guards. The castle is vast and our resources stretched thin." Damien looked down. "Majority of men were killed during the festival."

Crux bowed his own head in respect for the recently departed. A few of his close friends were also amongst those that had been slaughtered. "Forgive me, I did not know the extent of the damage to our numbers."

Rain slides down from window watching it all, he laughs at it alittle. They weren't the same as they were before. Lots of fighting.... He smokes his cig and blows out smoke.

Ari jumped, looking to the window. She remembered seeing Tuomas secure the doors, but not the window in the room. She gave a frightened look to Damien, wondering if this was one of the intruders that he had spoken of.
