Shadow blushed and gave him a little smile, "Well, it's just, you're so nice, plus with my parents dead, I kind of had all this love waiting to go to somebody, I don't want to scare you away or anything, it's just I love you, as a friend." He said with a murr, his tail swaying, smiling widely now.

James chuckled and hugged him, "It's fine." he said, "I just was curious." he sat back on the couch and closed his eyes, smiling and leaning his head back.

Shadow smiled and slowly laid onto his lap, yawning and cuddling into him, his tail swaying back and forth, "Ok, I'm glad you're fine with it." He said with a giggle, closing his eyes and cuddling into his lap again.

James patted his head, grinning, "Don't worry 'bout it..." he said, yawning a bit. "Sleeping disorder..." he told Shadow.

Shadow looked up at him and tilted his head, "Hm?" he asked with a little murr.

James smiled, "I can't sleep, I literally can't." he explained, "I can try, but 99% of the time I'll just lay there."

Shadow whimpered a bit, murring, "Well, have you ever slept, just once? It must be hard." He said with a frown, cuddling into him more, smiling a bit from the comfort.

James laughed a little, "Not that I can remember, and I get used to it..." he said, petting his head again.

Shadow murred and smiled up at him, "Well, you want to lay with me in my bed after the breakfast is delivered?" He said with a warm smile, cuddling into him.

Shadow nodded and smiled as the breakfast came in, they spread out the foods onto the table, Shadow stood up and took a couple of burritos, and a few of the huge cinnamon rolls, and a glass of milk, smiling and starting to eat, murring, his tail swaying back and forth happily.

James smiled and took some cinnamon rolls and some milk, and ate, enjoying the taste.

Shadow smiled and let out a sigh as he finished, murring and giggling a bit, "That was wonderful, now come on, let's go lay in my bad." He said as he got up, gently grabbing James' hand and pulling him off of the couch.

James chuckled and followed him, and laid down on the bed. He sighed, "It's comfortable..." he said, relaxing.
