"So, I take that as a yes. All right. Iori, Corrigan, thanks for all of your help and thanks so much for that display. I am sure that Amy won't be the only one who will get usage out of those artifacts."

Iori chuckled, "You bet."

...The next morning...

Zane was waiting by Amy's bedside as she woke up just as cheerful as she always had been. "Daddy!" she exclaimed, giving Zane a hug, "I just knew you'd be here. And you were right, I did turn out okay. So...um...where's mom?"

"He's at home, sweetheart. He wanted to come, but ever since that trouble with Morticia and Epcor, he thought it best that he watch everyone else while I came to see you."

Amy gave Zane a big hug and then asked, "So is it okay if we go home now?"

Zane replied, "Not quite yet. Once Ken says its okay, then we can. Okay?"

With a big grin, Amy nodded, "Okay!"

Then the frown faded as quickly as it came as she had remembered seeing Corrigan for a few minutes before everything had gone black. She asked, "I didn't worry Corey too much did I, daddy?"

Zane shook his head, "No sweetheart. In fact, when you get home, you will see something that Corrigan wanted to show you. It really is quite impressive with what that boy can do."

"Aww!" Amy said, "Now I really wanna get out of here to see what Corrigan did."

Nurses and doctors were examining vital signs and such staying out of the way of what Zane and Amy were talking about. Ken showed up about an hour later and said, "Okay, everything looks good. Amy, how are you feeling?"

"Sad!" Amy blurted a bit louder than needed, "I wanna see what Corrigan made for me back home and I am stuck here!"

Ken laughed softly, "Okay, Amy, then you may go. Just be sure to be a bit more careful next time. If your drinks tastes or smells funny and different, then don't drink it."

Amy nodded, the smile returning, "Okay! Daddy, come on, lets go home!"

Zane bowed before Ken in thanks and then caught up with Amy and together they flew back to Truesdale Manor. By now, Epcor and the younger kids were up and being fed. Monopoly, the only other child besides the two eldest ones was still in his room, but he was not asleep. He was working out a strategy plan based on maps that "grandma" gave him.

Based on what was there, it was Monopoly's job to find values for each place so that it helps with what population should go where. These maps were from planets not yet inhabited, but could be via the Planet Dragon Ball exits.

When Zane walked in the door, Amy hopped down and ran straight to her room. As soon as she got to the opened doorway, she exclaimed, "Holy Cheese Doodles! My room got a makeover and it looks awesome! Yaaaaaaay!!!!!"

Zane looked at Trunks and smiled, taking a seat beside his lover. "It sure sounds like Amy's happy with Corrigan's work. So, anyone besides us make the headlines in the paper this morning?"

Zane laughed, "When are people going to ever get it into their heads that you cannot put a leash on a wild wolf, a wild monkey, nor a child? Their request will go unanswered. Training Kogaku, that's different. The training request, they may get, but they will not be happy if that wish comes true for them. To train a wolf monkey is to train it to behave like our daughter except without the knowledge of what is what. The reason why Terry and Vegeta have not taken as much time raising Kogaku than the other two is because they believe that Kogaku is simply acting like a pup. I mean...other than crapping on lawns and pissing on mailboxes, what has Kogaku done according to those whiners?"

Zane sighed, "And here I thought Gohan would have learned. Everything that the newspaper has said is nothing more than what a wild pup would do. Second of all, people should know that Kogaku is just a kid and instead of doing what they should be doing and talking with the kid, all they've done is encourage it. Nah, until these people talk with Kogaku directly instead of chasing him or talking with the press, Kogaku is going to continue and neither Vegeta or Terry is going to stop it."

Taking a sip of his tea, Zane added, "Just think about what happened last night between Morticia and Epcor and what they did and remember most of Morticia's antics were within the family and not as wide spread as this. The options we could have taken with them."

Setting up the virtual reality center, Zane ran the simulation mode to show along the wall of the kitchen. "Okay, we know that after I left to go get you, Morticia and Epcor were up to no good. Now, suppose this happened...suppose we chose to completely accept with what Morticia did and thought Epcor right."

Zane typed in the scenario and they watched what would have happened if neither Zane nor Trunks cared. In a word...disaster.

Then Zane said, "Likewise, this is what would have happened to Kogaku if neither Vegeta or Terry took the time to at least give some guidance, and for added information, we will add Gohan chasing Kogaku. This is what would have happened."

The display showed Gohan getting eaten by Kogaku and Kogaku belching. Zane went on, "If Kogaku had no sense of humanity within him, he would have behaved exactly like a wolf monkey would do and not anyone whom could be called Terry's and Vegeta's son."

Epcor shuddered when he saw that image, "That's scary dad."

Zane chuckled, "Yes it is. Now, lets say regardless of Morticia's torture against you, Ep, you decided to go all noble and used the passageway to go find Trunks or me and you told us simply about Morticia poisoning Amy's drink."

Epcor watched, but it was still upsetting. "Yes," Zane said, "But when someone does stuff like this, regardless of what could happen to you, its better to tell someone about it. Even if in that situation you told Iori since he was closer than Trunks or I at the time then the situation would have gone better."

Young Sapphira Li Truesdale spoke up now, "Papa, have you ever considered subbing for Professor Yagami at Southtown finishing school?"

Zane was shocked to hear this, but replied, "No. No I haven't, why?"

"Because this is the kinds of lessons he gives. Grandmama said so. Teaches by using horrific scenes, uses the virtual reality center, and asks questions about certain situations."

Laughing Zane looked to Trunks, "You take her to Pandaria one time and Sapph gets wiser."

Now turning to his daughter, Zane said, "Well, that is true that Iori does teach like I am now, but I am making a point here. By allowing Terry and Vegeta to continue to raise Kogaku like this and by doing nothing, there is going to be trouble. In that sense, I agree with the point the papers are trying to make. However, I also think that the people involved should simply talk with Kogaku instead of treating him like an animal."

Outside, Zane could hear the familiar sounds of claws digging in the dirt. "Here, let me show you..."

Peering out the window, Zane and company could see Kogaku digging up the lawn. Zane placed an arm in front of Trunks to prevent the wrong action. Zane then said, "Yo! Kogaku!"

Kogaku looked to find Zane talking. Afraid of being in trouble, Kogaku wanted to run, but didn't. He nervously barked, "Yeah?"

"Why are you digging up my front yard?"

Kogaku looked at his paws and then the torn lawn, and replied, "Because I found this neat treasure that I want to bury. Everyone else just yells at me!"

"May I take a look at what you found?" Zane asked next, "I promise I am only going to look at it. I know its your treasure."

Nervously Kogaku approached the house. Zane knew that the media would be watching in their nooks and crannies, but didn't let Kogaku know that. Eyeballing the glowing white gem, Zane just felt the surface. "I see. So, you found a nice diamond. You are one lucky cub to have found it. But, burying the diamond here isn't going to make you happy."

Kogaku tilted his head wondering what Zane had in mind for a better spot. Zane offered for Kogaku to enter warning him not to tear up the furniture and to kindly show some restraint. Kogaku obeyed. Epcor and Sapph followed.

Zane then said to Trunks, "You see...by talking with Kogaku instead of doing what everyone else did, I am getting better results."

Once Zane showed Kogaku the better spot, the pup wasted no time in digging up the dirt and burying the diamond. Then Zane said to Kogaku, "From now on, if you have something you want to bury come to this spot. This will be your treasure grounds. Also, if you need a place to...mark your territory, again, here is the best spot to do that."

Kogaku smiled happy to know that finally someone understood what he was trying to do. Then the pup had a question, "What about newspapers, and furniture?"

Zane then had an idea. He said, "Okay, if you promise not to go to anyone else's yard from now on to rip those other things, you may come to this lot here and either Trunks, myself, or my kids will have something here for you to satisfy you. Do we have a deal?"

Kogaku nodded, but then asked, "What if I have to go number 2? What then?"

Zane laughed and replied, "For that, you use a toilet."

"But what if a toilet isn't available to me, what then?"

"If you see a nearby bucket and you absolutely cannot hold it in, then use the bucket. However, after you use the bucket, if its not from this location, then you must inform the person that you borrowed their bucket to provide the freshest fertilizer ever. The best places for that would be on farms and not in city yards."

"I understand. Zane, why was everyone else so mad at me for doing those things?"

Zane explained, "Simply because they are all failures in Iori's class. True failures. Anyway, you no longer have any fears and when you get back home you tell Terry that this is the way that I am thanking him and Dee for helping with Morticia."

"Okie dokie! Later Zane, and thank you!"

At that Kogaku bounded for home happy, satisfied, and for once got his way without getting yelled at. He had a place to be naughty, a place that was his own. Sure there were limitations, but Zane was nice to him.

(Nice addition there, Saya! I mean with the Kogaku situation.)

Chazz was riding his digimon Greymon and Sangcun had her arm linked with Ash Crimson's.

Ash said with that devilish smile that he always had, "Its been a while, mom, dad. I saw some wolf cub racing someplace, did he attack the two of you? Want me to...take care of him?"

Sangcun elbowed her husband to behave, then hugged her parents. "Don't mind Ash. He's just grumpy because I had to get him up early. So that wolf cub, that was Kogaku, wasn't it?"

Ash laughed heartily, "Yeah, right, as if Terry can do ANYTHING about that kid. He's too wild and Terry knows it. As for Vegeta, he won't care either way."

Sangcun then added, "Well, I am glad that dad was able to do something. Speaking of the media...have either of you noticed that they have been...extra snoopy lately? I mean, not just with what has been recently happening that does make news, but...its like they are around every corner as if they secretly know something huge is going to go down and they don't want to miss a second of it."

Zane went into thoughtful mode, pacing included, then said, "Well, now that you mention it, there has been a lot of activity in New Domino city lately and not just with Trunks and I either. There's something about this new dueling system dealing with numbers that has the media stoked and I think its because of this that the media wants to get every little change that happens."

Epcor piped in and said, "Maybe it also has something to do with the fact that us kids are growing up and because there are a lot of us and we are royalty..."

Sapphira Li chimed, "If that's true, Ep, then Nalith must be insane right now! Will has like 20, 000 children and if the media is as snoopy as you guys all think, then let me ask you, has there been anything on Will's kids lately?"
