Graves listened patiently to his sister, wanting to know what had made her so upset. It was a familiar dream, bu there was one difference, he spoke to Ray. There was a new detail to the man's face, Cold blue eyes. That explained why after Ray meet the man she would jump at seeing Graves eyes in the dark or her own in mirrors. "It's okay Sally." He had stood up, hugging his sister. She had always blamed herself for the death of their mother and this dream seemed to prove it to her. "It's not your fault, it was never your fault....It societies fault for letting someone like that roam the streets." He carefully tightened the hug around her.

Ray had started to cry by the end of the story. What the man had said had only proven to Ray about her insecurity. The hug and Graves words were a comfort, but it didn't help this feeling. "Yes, but didn't the blood on my nails come back as feline? I didn't cut his face, i missed...." Ray looked up at hearing Justin's voice, carefully wiping her face of the tears. "i'm going to get changed."

Graves released the hug and smiled at Ray. "alright, take your time. I'll distract Justin for a bit." He climbed out of the grave and walked out to the fire pit. "Holy hell man...." He looked at the deer. "....You took down a deer. Impressive!" A wide grin coming to his face. Graves wouldn't have thought that a sweet kid like Justin could take down such a large animal.

"Geeze kid, glad you didn't. Other wise we'd have to carry it with us." Graves said scratching the back of her head as he watched Justin skin the deer. "Well........wait what were we going to do today." A small rock flew out of the forest and hit him in the head. Graves shut one eye at the hit. "Sorry, right we were thinking about getting a dorm room here. Since, well we don't have to live outside anymore." He laughed at the idea. "Man, your one tough kid. We'll Ray once scared a bear away, but she did have her wings to make her look more intimidating."

Ray had changed into her traditional miko outfit. She had mostly wanted to changes so as to take a look at some pictures. She withdrew a occult spell book that Graves had, but it wasn't the spells she wanted. This was where he kept all the pictures she had ever drew. Ray flipped threw them quickly looking at everything she drew. "It's not there.....i never drew his eyes." She said to herself as she chewed on one of her nails. Ray sighed and placed the book back, she gathered at of their things and walked out carefully, holding on to trees as she went. She placed the bags on the ground near the fire pit, not wanting to look direct at the deer carcass.

Ray had been attaching her wakizashi back at her side as Justin finished with the deer. She looked at him then over at Graves, who seemed to be just standing there with a dopey half grin. He nodded his head at Justin and she looked just in time to lock eyes with him. The way he looked away, made her c**k her head, was there something on her face?

Graves came up next to Justin and crouched down, smiling at him. "You know she not going to kill you if you say something." he whispered very quietly to Justin. He liked to play match maker, it was funner since it was his sister, than some random stranger. Graves nudged Justin in the arm.

Ray stopped over thinking how Justin was acting. She still wasn't fully feeling up to eat, but she could at least eat a little. "Ummm....As cooked as you can get it." Ray said as she went threw her bag.

"alright, i thought i would offer some advice." Graves said quietly. He always had a thing for helping people. Justin seemed to needed bit of a push. e seemed to be kind of stuck or way to stubborn. At hearing Justin's voice again. "only when she doesn't have her wings out. You should see Ray when she has hair, it to her lower back." He smiled lightly and looked up at ray, just to make sure she wasn't watching them. She wasn't, probably trying to find something to occupy her time with.

Graves smiled got bigger. "don't worry, i can handle it." He turned his attention to the meat. Graves wouldn't burn all of it, but he might burn one of the legs. The funny thing about being dead was everything was different, the way you eat, slept, moved, looked, hell he didn't even really have to breath if didn't want to. But Graves wanted to act normal at least for his sisters sake.

Ray stopped looking threw her bag and looked up at Justin. "Sure..." She wasn't to sure what he wanted to talk about. But she was willing to listen. Ray stood up and met Justin's eyes with hers. "Let's take a walk, then."

Ray listened to what Justin had to say. She watched him carefully, her face a little sad. She moved her arms to around her stomach and looked away. "ha, my life is at risk. " she said quietly as she looked away from him. "I guess, do what you think is right." Ray had turned away from Justin, she didn't want him to see how upset he had made her. "Pain....is just a state of mind caused by some outside force causing a person to react that way." Ray said with a steady voice as she looked back at him. Her blue gaze almost felt cold. Tengu were solitary creatures and right now her instincts were kicking in to protect her human side. "Don't get yourself killed...." Ray turned on her the balls of her feet and started to walk away. Somehow in this state of mind, it allowed her was able to walk normally. "If only you knew how many times i've died....."Ray said to herself, voice cracking quietly as she could only reminder her self of the secret her and Graves kept.

"that won't be a problem." Ray's voice had no emotion, though the mask was breaking the farther she got away from Justin. She had made it back to the fire just in time to collapse next to Graves. He looked up at his sister and hugged her. "hey, what happened?" she just leaned on him. "he said he worried for my life and he'd be back when he felt it was safe." tears started to fall from her eyes.

Graves was amazed that Justin had left like that. "did you tell him about me.......what i can do? how many times i've saved you from Osiris's hand." he placed a hand to her face. She shook her head 'no'. "it's not my place to tell such a secret to another." her voice creaking horribly now. Graves held Ray close, letting his hand fall from Ray's face. "sally, boy's can be stupid. they don't understand what they had until; it's gone." He grabbed an ember from the fire, his skin causing it to hiss loudly as it cold down.

"Come on lets go get a room. I'll get your shoes and you take care of the food." Ray nodded slowly, grabbing the food. She would only take one with them and the others she placed out in the forest for the animals. "be safe......" Ray returned, her walking was getting better, but she was still unsteady. Grabbing their stuff, she watched Graves jump down and hand her the getas. Graves went over and snuffed the fire out. "Alright lets go."

They both walked away from the campsite towards where the dorms were.

It was a good thing that Kana had left Axel when they did. It had allowed him to fully transform and not have to worry about any of the consequences of his actions. Even if she had stayed, it wouldn't have stop Axel from doing what he did. All that mattered was getting away and how to not let his anger get to him. He wasn't mad at Kana or anyone in particular, defiantly not the 'tin man' that brought this b*tch of an apparition. Sarcasm Most of the anger was at the circumstances, his lineage that caused this and something that he felt like he should remember, but just couldn't. Without the anger he wouldn't be able to move. His muscles were sore, the loss of blood not helping and the fact he kept running into almost everything. That was enough to keep him going. She wasn't that far behind him, Axel could hear her angry huffing. In hindsight, calling her 'figment-ed phantasm' wasn't his brightest moment, but it was his only distractio.....Searing pain shot threw Axel's whole body as he ran into a tree. 'Great now i have concussion for sure....' Axel thought as what little vision through his powers had disappeared and he quickly tried to hide in a bush next to the tree, not very well but it was the best he could do.

Paine relentlessly followed after the vermin, phasing through trees so as to catch up with the blinded creature. Paine was surprised that Axel could stay so far ahead of her. 'There's something not right....' Paine thought angrily as Axel seemed to pull ahead of her. She stopped in her tracks as a tree shuddered violently. It was now or never, Paine inhaled. Slowly she began to walk forward as she began singing. It's wasn't quite like a singing anyone would normally hear, it was more like a eerie, hallow scream. It seemed to gain volume as she stepped closer to where the tree, that Axel had hit, was. By the time she had gotten to the tree it was at ear piercing levels.

Axel was trying his best to not make a sound as the strange singing started and seemed to be getting closer. It was hard, since the gashes across his chest were continuing to cause Axel breathing to be irregular and the loss of blood. He was going to pass out if he didn't get away from Paine soon. Carefully and quietly Axel emerged from his bush. His fiery red striped fur was stain with a dark brown color. Axel only got a few feet away from the tree he ran into, when the 'singing' hit a pitch that caused him to turn back at least halfway human. Axel clamped down on his feline ears and crumpled down onto his knees. The sound was overloading his already sensitive ears, leaving him immobile. 'I have no hope in seeing with this.....harpy screaming like that. I'm...gonna....die like.... this'

Paine abruptly stopped her call when other lower voice began to call back to her. She rolled her eyes up towards the sky as 4 deep crimson tears began to slide down her face. A wide smile twisting into her features.
