Damien smiled to her, but then thought about it, he really liked her but then wondered if she would ever stay with him forever...

Stella smiled back and stood behind him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek gently.

Damien smiled to her and blushed a little bit when she kissed his cheek. He then gently got up, turning to face her but then hugged her back. He smiled to her but then thought about it, "Um Stella... if I ever asked you... would you ever consider marrying me?" He asked shyly, wondering what she would have said.

Stella's cheeks burned with a bright red color.'Marry him? Who else would it be.' "Why would you ask me a silly question like that? Of course I would."she said blushing deeper.

Damien smiled but then gently kissed her back, "Is there anything that I can get for you?" He asked softly. He knew that she would marry him if he asked, but he didn't want to ask for real until he found a ring to give to her.

Damien smiled to her but then left her for a minute to go up to his room. He walked to the top drawer of the dresser, he smiled and then picked up a small black box from the drawer, he opened it to reveal a ring, when his mistress was dying, she told him about the ring, it was what her husband used to propose to her, she told him to use on the girl he loved. He smiled and took the box, he couldn't wait to give it to Stella. He walked back downstairs to her, hiding the black box.

Stella tilted her head to the side when he ran back downstairs."Did you find what you were looking for?"she asked curiously.

She thought about what he'd said earlier and the first thing that came to mind was him asking if she'd marry him.Stella nodded, a twinkle in her eyes.
