mathis waked into the garden to be greeted by a symphony of sounds of life, and scents that made his heart fly. he looked around at the beauty. then saw luna sitting off to the side. his heart skipped a beat and he stepped back awkwardly.

 "Moony, Moony, Moony, Crazy Little Luny, You Are Sweet, You are Strange, Forever Be Odd Little Moony!"
Luna turned, catching another pure white Lotus flower. She gently put it in her hair. Once she made sure it wouldn't fall, she turned all the way around. Walking back across the garden, she caught sight of Mathis. Looking confused for a moment, her face broke out into a gentle smile. She walked over to him, her whole being practically glowing in her element.
"Hello Mathis...What brings you to this beautiful place?" Luna smiled, touching his arm gently. Looking up into his face, her eyes twinkled.

mathis stared back at luna, his breath caught in his throat and his wingspopped out tearing his shirt "gah!" mathis flipped and darted into the bushes. he didnt know why, she had seen his wings before. mathis hit his head against a tree and sunk "ow"

Luna stared after him, her eyes wide. Then she laughed, not mockingly, or teasing. She just thought it was funny. She walked over to him, poking her head out from the side of the bush. She giggled and took hold of one of his hands. She helped him up, and walked him over the the little pond. Sitting Mathis down, she got some water in her hands, and careful began to clean the little bump on his head. She knew it was only a bump, but you never know.
She giggled as she brushed over his wings with the water. She watched the drops sparkle in the sun and drip off. She blushed lightly and looked over at Mathis. "There was no need to run. It wasn't as if there were Kands chasing you." Luna sat on her knees in front of him, flowers surrounding her.

mathis looked up at her there was no one around and he felt scared. he was confused, he didn't know what to do. she wasnt doing anything wrong. but he felt.. wierd. mathis turned his head away. and his wings popped back in his heart was beating terribley fast.

Luna blushed, and her smile faded. She touched Mathis's arm again. She saw his wings go away. She spoke in a soft, childlike voice. "Why do they do that." Luna's eyes looked sad. Why did he turn away from her? Why did it feel so bad? She felt horrible, thinking that Mathis didn't like her company.

mathis slowly turned his head back at her. "i-..i don't know. sometimes they listen. sometimes they don't.. mathis' eyes darted around. unsure of what to think.

Luna noticed that he wouldn't look at her. Her heart hurt, and she didn't know why. She blushed, not from pleasure but from hurt. She hung her head, eyes stinging with fresh tears. Her hair covered her face, like a curtain. She didn't cry. She wouldn't. She wondered why it hurt so much for him to e like this to her. Did he think she was weird? A lot of people did. She wouldn't put it past him.

mathis looked over at luna and was shocked to see her eyes watering. he looked at her in a daze. he sat up and lifted her chin wiping her tears, and stopped as his eyes focused onto hers.

Luna looked into Mathis's eyes. Her tears seemed to dry, and she gasped. She reached up, and slowly touched his hair. Her gaze shook as she looked into his eyes, and slowly she blushed even more, her heart in her throat. It was beating so loud and fast, she was sure he could hear it. What was this feeling?

Mathis wasn't sure what to do. He just held Lucas gaze completely spell bound."I-I-I just.. Ah.." mathis' heart was pounding and he didn't know what to do. His wings were still until they seemingly working by his hearts will rather than his mind wrapped around him and Luna to form a loose metal cocoon.
