"Kyu?" Hibiki called out curiously, waving a hand in front of his squad member's face. Like I said earlier, his chakra is a darker type of blue, but why is it also covered in light blue... Wait a second! He gasped almost involuntarily as he made a breakthrough mentally. He must be under some sort of Genjutsu, normally your opponent's chakra doesn't mingle on your body for very long unless it has persisting effects! Now, the only way I know how to remove a genjutsu is by sending a surge of chakra into their body, suppressing the opponent's chakra. The other method is more my style, as intense pain can make someone wake up from even the strongest of Genjutsu.

"Kyu, don't mind me, this is for your own good." Hibiki reassured him, as he stood up off of his four limbs and faced the taller Shinobi. Putting his hands on the shoulders of his comrade, he began to focus his chakra into him. However, because of his lack of focusing chakra, electricity began to surge through the Inuzuka's body. Sending small amps of current into the fish's body would work just as well, Hibiki thought, so he began to focus even more chakra and electricity into his shoulders. "Wake up! We need to catch those traitors! One of them is already heading east from our current position!"

Aizen couldn’t help but wonder what would happen to his soul as this was his very first battle, would he be punished for his crimes in both worlds or would he be deemed as a savior to those in which he sought the truth from. No matter the case he was surely dying and to make it worse he hadn’t even succeeded to make it past the rank of genin. His body was limp as he looked towards the beast in front of him, for some reason everything was blurry and turning pitch dark. It wasn’t long before the cries of Kaji disappeared as Aizen soon found himself a deaf muted dying person. His hand fell from the boys gripping arm as his throat was now completely crushed. If any one were to come now it wouldn’t have made any difference his body was broken and his blood lost was too much to handle He drifted off into silence as the last beat of his heart gave out. He hung by Kaji’s grip now lifeless and dead. His eyes had no color, his face started to turn purple as his lips lost the color within.

Takera felt colder and colder. He stayed as aware as he could, but the chill was creeping up on him. He looked back at Zeru wondering if he felt as cold as Takera did, but he didn't seem to be as affected by the cold. He kept his eyes peeled but began to wonder why he felt so cold with all the clothes he was wearing. Hibiki had broken Kyu of what seemed to be a trance. "H-Hibiki?" Takera called out hesitantly in the cold. "H-Help?"

Zeru watched the mayhem around them ensue or what little he could see of it, the blizzard was blinding and he heard fighting off in the distance which he could only assume someone had run into Sai or it was Kaji. Either way Zeru knew his job, he quickly formed hand seals and smacked his hands on the cold ground even though there was a thick coat of ice, he could feel the blessing of the earth beneath it as strong and loving as it had always been. Zeru looked at Takera and saw he was having trouble with something so he nodded.

Zeru stood and quickly formed hand seals again he needed to find the others but he also need to keep his brother safe so this was the best he could do, as he made the final seal, he stomped his right foot and slowly through the layer of ice a root burst up out of the ice and wrapped itself around Takera's leg giving him the healing powers of the earth, the same would happen to Kyu, and Hibiki, as they where the only people he could find. Zeru hoped it would be enough for now, now he stepped forward and guarded his brother from whatever things would be coming their way, he drew his Kunai and looked back at him. "I don't know whats happening but we need to stay close and watch each others back." Zeru said as he sharringan quickly turned off as it was useless with the limited visibility.He waited ready for next attack.

Sai let out a heavy sigh as his form slid through ice and watched carefully as the events amongst the opposing team took place, his mind analyzing the situation and formulating new battle strategies based upon how they had reacted. It had seemed as though his crew had garnered the upper hand from that surprise attack, Sorain's follow up hitting with impeccable timing to immobilize their foes, and now the field was to their own advantage as it was currently all ice and the only other Mizu, or so it seemed, that was on the opposing side was already caught in a minor genjutsu and was likely to not be able to get out any time soon. However, they were quickly regathering themselves and Aizen barely held up their final member from the battle as the Feral Boy howled out annoyingly and rushed back to aid his team after severing Aizen's head to make a makeshift hip purse of some kind... But each were to their own, Sai just didn't take the gruff looking boy to be the "eh-henh, girlfriend type."

With yet another sigh, Sai screwed his eyes tightly in preparation of what was coming as his breathes began to come to him in a struggled shutter. For a moment the boy stopped moving and simply gulped down hard, his face drawing back in a depressed manner as his head and neck twitched this way and that as though to force something out of his mind. His hands balled up into fists around his long hair as he tugged at it in vain to rip the thoughts out, his lips curling back into a snarl as he did and his seething growl-like breath hurling out of him in heavy puffs of white mist. The memories of pain and anguish filled his mind and with each moment of it, the ice and snow around him began to melt.

Slowly but surely, Sai's form rose up out of the ice to stand ominously behind the group's faced direction, his heavily strained breaths easily enough to reveal his location. Bit by bit, the ice and snow that had been melted near him (which was all but leaving a small creator in the ground) was rolling towards and onto Sai's body, collecting in bundles on his back. With each droplet a stub began to form from where the boy's shoulder blades were located and continued until two mighty eagle wings formed of icy cold water was spread out to either side of his body with a looming presence of sadness. Almost as though the world itself was giving a heavy heave, a frozen wind blew quietly past all that stood in the battle now as Sai's crimson eyes opened slowly and peered at each person as though to ask, Do you know?"

There was nothing extremely scary of Sai's new appearance but with each beat of his wings, a sense of sadness... a powerful sense of pure depression would be filled into the air. Thoughts of death would be pressed against each person's mind as though a quiet whisper was being spoken into each person's subconscious... asking what would they do if someone they loved die? What could they do if this was their final moment on this world, could they end it without regrets? What if they just would never see those who they loved most ever again? All were questions most thought about but now, before the demon that was awakening before them... Could they answer them? Could they resist the whispers that would potentially fill their mind, and little by little become screaming voices... Howling that this was their last time on the earth, that they will never see those who they cared about... That all their potentials... all their hopes and dreams... all of it was never going to happen. The voices would howl and howl, as those who could not block them out would soon find them scratching through their subconscious for their deepest fears and pains to use as weapons against their mental and emotional state.

"Do... you know?" Sai's voice cracked as he spoke but their was an ominous tone about it, a thickness of dread and sadness that had the potential to rack a person's soul and resolve as he sounded throughout the entire field. His hand rose up shaking, feeling, looking out as though he was a blind man... his wings beating with a silent loudness as the pressure of his demonic emotions all but silenced it into a reverberating background. Slowly the wings began to raise him from the ground and move him towards the group as he was surely to have their attention by now. His appearance was now grim and eerie as his blind like appearance and glowing crimson eyes searched wildly, his hand reaching out to pull the answers of the questions all wanted to ignore from their very souls. "DO YOU KNOW?" Sai bellowed out questioningly yet again as his eyes became more focused and peered at each person for what seemed to be an extended time, and to each who locked eyes with his sharingan, he would seem to soar towards them personally, as he simply moved in their general direction. As he finally came to just about a hovering meeter above them, he loomed over them and glared, "You don't... Do you." He stated almost in a pitting tone as his wings beat against the air once more with a powerful force that sent a gust down to the ground below and propelled himself up high into the sky and hidden away by the blizzard itself.

"Soul, get ready to coat the field with your techniques and begin charging up. Sorain, I'm going to try and make another opening for you and possibly take out one or two of them from the standings." Sai said firmly into his headset as he rose through the blizzard, his entire facade gone now as he simply used the demon cloak wings to help him rise in the sky, his phoenix similarly circling around in the nearby area, ready to assist. "Wait until you guys see the second burst... Initiating contact in 5... 4... 3... 2.. 1!"

Sai's formed flipped backwards as his wings wrapped around his body and he catapulted violently towards the ground at frightening speeds, his hands all the while blurring through hand seals. The first Javelin was only slightly affective as it hit only a couple, this one on the other hand would definitely strike the majority of the group and would be followed with a second strike. So even if it wasn't as effective as Sai was hoping it would definitely force the opposing group to use their more powerful jutsu and allow them to gauge their more hidden abilities as well as set up for next part of the plan.

So as Sais body spear headed towards the awaiting group that would more then surely hear the bomb like whistle that was his arrival's warning, small marbles of crystal ice began to form from the ground and raise all across the field silently. If any of the shinobi did decide to attempt to peel their eyes from the sky and look amongst themselves, the small spheres were quickly multiplying and floating around amongst their immediate area as well as every where else in the area. In fact they would most closely resemble what a mine field would appear to be if they were to float in the air.

Like a missile, Sai's form speared from the sky at his foes before all together disappearing from sight as though he never existed... all to show tribute to him was the powerful winds that crashed down at them in his absence. However, in truth Sai had simply slipped into one of the ice marbles that were floating amongst them, this particular marble instantly however speared down into the icy ground below and in that instance, the boy shuttled himself past all of his foes and to the farthest part of the battle field before resurfacing their in almost the same instance. Without a sound, the boy soared at frightening speeds back towards them from their unawares. His body was propelled by his powerful wings and the ice marbles that found their way to his feet yet again, the torrent of ice and snow following close behind... It was an attack that left little to notice save the oncoming rumble that seemed all to late compared to where the true distance of the attack was coming from.

If any of the shinobi had to the sense of mind to look back to where Sai had originally came from, they would have seen the crimson eyed demon spearing his way towards all of them, the avalanche of ice and snow following in pursuit to crush and freeze them all... But even if they had looked, there was little they could do for some of the shinobi there as Sai's form simply speared through them all, his hand grabbing the paralyzed Novvus. Without warning, he simply rose back into the sky in a rapid speed, pulling the boy with him until they were high above the ground and the phoenix that circled above could be seen at the distance. "The pleasure was all yours, I promise... Good bye." Sai chimed in response to the boy's original spoken words to him. A terrifyingly disturbed smile spread across Sai's lips as he released the boy to fall all the way back down to the ground where his attack had already frozen over the land in the same spiked fashion as it had the first time. "Shatter..." The words left Sai's lips just the same as it had the first, but now carried all the whispers and questions of inner turmoil with them, the ice now breaking and raising up to swallow Novvus and every other shinobi there in the same fashion fear and sadness swallowed up one's heart and soul...

Kaji growled savagely as whispers of his family and their doubts surged through his mind. His vision turned to shades of red his chakra flared up into a tempest of lightning. He could see all the times Kurosai had saved him. He could see his father dying, and his family being tortured and killed. Something inside of him snapped and the ground beneath him exploded as his feral features grew so prominent that he no longer looked human. All he could hear was the rushing of blood in his ears as his eyes focused on the cause of his recent loss. He tore the severed head from his belt and hurled it at Sai. "NO MORE! NEVER AGAIN! TONIGHT YOU DIE!" He roared as he watched the Jinchuuriki rise into the sky on wings made of water.

As his rage took hold Kaji felt something put it's hand on his shoulder. He whipped around to see that it was his father's spirit. Kaji blinked a few times and then growled angrily thinking that it was part of some cruel illusion, but his father's spirit then spoke to him. "Kaji you must calm yourself if you are to avenge Kurosai and save the rest of the clan. There is a time and place for rage such as this, but it is not here and now ." A pained expression crossed his father's face as the image began to flicker. "I can stay no longer my son. Make me proud..." His father said as he faded away into the afterlife forever.

As his father disappeared Kaji's chakra, and the lightning that had surrounded him calmed. Time slowed to a stand still around him as he analysed the battle field. Novvus was at the mercy of the Jinchuuriki, and there were icy javelins speeding down toward him. He knew he had to try to save his team mate, but he also had to save himself. He pondered if he could possibly do both in such a short time, and decided that he had to at least try. For better or for worse he was committed to his course of action. He began to focus his chakra and force it out into a field around him to cushion the force of the attack. At the same time the feral boy made a series of quick hand seals and slammed his foot down through the snow. As it made contact with the earth a wall of stone shot up towards Novvus, but it was not fast enough to save him from the jinchuuriki's attack.

Kaji braced himself for the impact of Sai's attack on his barrier and wholeheartedly expected it to punch through his chakra barrier as if it were paper. He smirked as the barrier held up for the first few seconds, but it quickly shattered. The impact of the attack was lessened but Kaji was sent flying back into a wall of ice. The air left his lungs as his skull smashed into the cold hard surface. He managed to pull himself back to his feet but he was dazed and not quite capable of fighting opponents of this caliber in his current state.

Actually sai I get another +80 to my accuracy from my primal form jutsu meaning my chance to defend myself would end up being 84%-10% would be a 74% chance of success.

ssA: Ok, but that doesn't make this roll a success. It always goes Defense -> Interpose, if you're doing it in the same turn and thus this roll would go to Novvus not you. Making it a failure.

And even if you were able to defend in any order, as this would be your second defense you would get a -100 to your check, still making it a failure. (In turn, your check for Novvus would loose that -200 and only get a -100 instead since one -100 comes from using a Ranged tech for interpose and the other -100 comes from defending for a second time.)

So, either way this roll is a failure.
