"And sarcasm isn't your thing."Alerius says humored back. "Still, its really nice to see you."He smiles glad to Ayna this happy. "I still think it was on purpose."He says shaking his head he was amazed that Maarick had read his annoyance as he shrugged it off what the seasoned knight was thinking was really anyone's guess as he watched keeping close to Alinia. "Its actually good to get out."
Ayna smiles happily. "Yea Ordonn and Alerius got into it again, Alerius swore that whatever he was doing was a really bad idea, you know Ordonn hes a I have to see for myself but its nice to be out of there." She says happily. "We have, and do."She says a little sadly. "Alerius, suggested it for me, but design and color was my choice." Alerius used his cloak to cover his face, the cloak looking as if he was checking it out though his eyes read i wonder why and he wasn't really looking at it.
Alinia laughed watching the adults act goofy. "Yea Ordonn and Alerius started yelling in a funny talk and mom was shocked, as she gave them both a look." She said still giggling. "Mommy wasn't happy." She says failing at giving the look Ayna had given the two. "I didn't see either of them for two days, mommy took me to see a bard play and i don't know what they were doing.

"Nightmare" Omni's eyes of honey blinked at Maarick, he seemed to have whispered something very quietly under his breath. The hound's ears could catch it, but he felt as is if he caught it late--the single word didn't make much sense to Nightmare. His ear flicked forcefully to once side as if something was bothering it. After a few more instances, his head twitched, tilting rapidly to one side of his neck a few times, before he reached up hastily, and scratched at it. His eyes shut tightly during this, only to open as Maarick flickered. "Hnn! Seems ta be rushed..."
Dadrik spoke, and the dog's tail turned into a soft, blond cyclone, wagging behind him hard and fast enough to cut the grass as if a mower. "Really, you'd actually get me some?! Oh, thank you Mr. Dadrik!" His voice was cheery, and it wasn't feigned. The hound was fairly excited, his eyes lit up as if some type of headlights, his feet shifting hectically on the grass below. "I'm not very picky on what that stuff so y'don't hafta worry 'bout that!" He grinned, stepping closer to Beatrix, Dadrik and the wolf, Kazale. ..Suddenly he gained a confused look. "Wait, if it's not jerky you're getting.. what is it?"
"Oh! No, see! Like Lilith found out, I'mma super buff man, and I can protect the whooole universe! Be--be--aah--trix!" He struggled with the name for a moment, sounding oout with an unsure look in his eyes, and in his face. "Beatrix! Yeah, Beatrix will be safe with me! so will Eve and that guy." He pointed to Eric over his shoulder with his thumb, as if he'd been so nonchalant about his presence, he'd forgotten his name.
"AND THAT ONE TOO!" he exclaimed loudly, jabbing his clawed, long pointer finger in Izual's direction, as he shied away from the group. He then took note of the wolf nuzzling Beatrix's hand, and resisted a grin. The wolf was either feeding off of it's summoner's emotions toward her, or he was awfully affectionate with people. Assuming, however, it was the first.. That mean, if he damaged the wolf enough later, Dadrik would feel it.
Good.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- Omni's words moved Eric's attention from Eveline's troubles to the dog man's absent-mindedness. "That guy? Excuse me? I have a name, you know." Eric sighed, and shook his head. Pulling out his crystal ball from his cloak, he closed his eyes, trying to get a good glimpse of the future again. Once again, the result was the same: Ominious image lacking enough clarity to make it unhelpful. Eric sighed with frustration, and stomped. How long would this last? He couldn't handle how useless he was. His powers were doing him no good, and for someone that was used to being impossible to surprise, this was getting rather annoying. ric took another look, trying to get some helpful detail. Once again, nothing but death and a blurry silhouette. Eric opened his eyes, and stared at his crystal ball. It seemed as though he was shooting beams from his eyes, the way he gazed into the ball. But still, no result.
Eric turned back to the dog man. "By the way, I don't need you to protect me." He spoke in a calm tone. He wasn't trying to give the "I'm better than you" vibe, or the cruel "I don't need your help" vibe. He was just saying that he could handle himself, and maybe someone else. He wasn't inept, after all. "Now, what's next?" He asked. He was actually also still waiting for Eveline to respond to him. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eveline stared up at Eric as he spoke to her. His words were very kind and made her feel warm for some odd reason. Her soft pink lips formed a warm smile as she looked up at him and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks. She reached out and took his hand. "Thank you Eric...I do hope that you are right.....Eric..." she started. The blush on her cheeks deepen then shook her head. She let go of his hand and took a step back. "Never mind..."
She crossed her arms and looked off in the direction that Aura and Orpheus had walked in. She did hope that everything would work out with them. "We should find a town soon. We don't want to out here in the dark..." she dug in to her bag and pulled out a rolled up piece of paper. She scanned over it for a few moment before nodding to herself. "We were close to a town when our carriage was attacked. I'm sure if we start walking we'll get there in a few hours. "
She glanced over at the newcomer and walked over to him. She gently placed her hand on his shoulder and titled her head to the side. "Are you alright? I'm sure that he the wolf won't hurt you. Whats your name?" she asked with smile.
But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Even in the dark And that's where I want to be

Beatrix's eyes widened when the wolf actually spoke to her. She was not expecting it to speak to her. Her shock quickly disappeared and she smiled as the wolf nuzzled her hand. She reached over and started to scratch behind his hears. "Pleasure to meet you Kazale." she said as she ran her fingers through his fur. He truly was a beautiful creature. She had never seen anything like him before. It was a shame that he was the last of his kind.
She glanced up at Dadrik and titled her head to the side. "What do you mean?" she asked. She looked over to find Maarick was gone. She was too distracted by the wolf to notice that he had disappeared. "Where did Maarick go?" She wondered what he meant by more protection. "Dadrik...I know I'm not the strongest person out there but you know I can stand on my own two feet...and if things would get hazy, I would probably find a way out." Her hand dropped to her side and she walked up to him. "You worry too much" she with a small frown. She reached up and placed her hand on his cheek. "Speaking of worrying...I'm starting to worry about you and Lilith. You both need...uhm...that...soon right?"

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick laughed at Alerius's comment. "Yeah, sarcasm just makes me seem cruel huh." he said with a small smile. "If you think it was on purpose, why would he send you here? More so, how did he know where to send you?" Maarick wondered giving a curious look. Ordonn was an interesting fellow and looked after Alinia very well. Was there some anterior motive. It has been awhile since he had seen both the one his heart belongs to and his daughter. His eyes lingered on Alerius for a just noticing what He was doing, trying to hide something. The look unmistakable. "Heh." he said turning back to Ayna. " Green, its a nice color. Fabric between the armor is very light to. It seems comfortable. And it suits a queen such as yourself." He said with a kind smile. The moment she put her arms around him, he had put his around her waist, but now, he pulled them off and stepped back from her only to turn toward Alinia. He walked over to her and squatted down, balancing on the balls of his shoes. "You've grown up quite a bit since My brother and I have seen you. What was it, last time we saw you all was. I do believe it was with soulbane and two other men. My brother started to freak out on them. You sure have gotten pretty, just like your mother." He said warmly, looking into her eyes. Maarick's head only tilted a little upwards. When he squatted, she was just a few inches taller.
The Phantom blaze Dadrik just cocked an eye at Omni at his reaction then shook his head a little. This guy surely was one of a kind. " Your odd you know...but yes, I'll bring you jerky. And if you don't ask anymore questions about what it is we need then I'll bring you two bags of it." He said with a bit of a smirk. Dadrik then took his attention and put it on Eveline. " You are correct, there is a town not even a mile away. When Maarick gets back just head Northeast, and you should hit it. We've been scouting this area for about 3 weeks now. That hellhound was the only creature so far that was proficient at killing. If its a natural monster, then that would be better then it being a creation. If it was one of these man made monsters, that just means whoever is doing this is getting closer to creating perfect killers." He said but movements were now just a bit sluggish. His voice sounding tired. He looked over to Beatrix and gave her a smile. " Maarick went to see Ayna, the person to him that you are to me. And...." He stopped, knowing not to go into the fact he had a daughter. " Well two other friends. They are all pretty strong, I have no worries now, but Kazale will stay with you never the less." He said as Kazale pushed his ear up into Beatrix's hand as she pet him. Kazale then moved his head and walked to where he was behind her, his tale touching her leg. He kept his gaze on Beatrix and stepped closer to her taking her hands in his. " I've lost so much in the past, I'm not willing to lose you yet. I know that I may live alot longer then you, so therefore I will do what I must to protect you, that includes being overly protective. I know your strong, and you are very smart. You have always up to this point been able to figure out a way out of situations. And I believe in you. I know you can, but I can't help to go overboard every now and then." He said with a bit of a smirk. He then let out a sigh as she reminded him. " Yeah....
They say.... That I must learn to kill before I can feel safe But I I rather kill myself then turn into their slave Sometimes I feel that I should go and play with the thunder Somehow I just don't wanna stay and wait for a wonder

Iz𝖛𝖆l ℙℜℴsℙℇℜℴ
His footing very silent and what he assumed was very inconspicuous, did Izual begin to inch away from the small group of strangers. The bat had never done well with a group of people, let alone strangers. His nerves were beginning to get the better of him, and his paranoia was beginning to spring up in small bursts.
Anxiously, did he start to physically shy away from them. His awkward and shy behavior around others was not something he'd ever had the thought, or option even to remedy. He figured if they didn't notice his trying to sneak away, then he could just slip off into the night, and figure out where he was to go from there.
True, he didn't have many resources available to him, or know anyone else. He didn't have any solid plan of his own, and his best bet would be to latch onto this group of people. Izual was not known to be so logically guided, though.
The bat was deep in thought, on his plan of action. Now....How will I sneak away...Perhaps if I wait unti- he was thinking, when his thoughts were cut short. The dog-boy addressed him, his voice very loud, and very forceful. Izual jumped in his skin, and almost fell back in his shock. His blood-red eyes opened wide, as he stared in the dog's direction and froze in his tracks.
"O-Oh! I...I"
he started to stutter, feeling the need to explain himself and his actions immediately. His tone was even one of an apologetic nature, though he'd done nothing outright wrong. Then, a blue-haired girl approached him. His ears lowered, and his eyes scanned over her being quickly, and perhaps suspiciously. "I'm fine....." came his quiet reply.
"He might...All canines are evil!!" hissed Izual. "I..My name? I'm Izual!"

"The odd of us landing here were likely one in a million."Alerius nodded. "Ordonn was messing with that which he knew little about, and messed up what he was trying to do which by likely pure chance that we ended up here." He says lowering his cloak as he watched the others, though Alerius looking at the two he knew, as he known they looked a match.
Ayna smiles blushing a bit as she looks at Maarick. "Thank you."She says as she released him watching. "I can hardly believe this is real." She says watching Maarick with Alinia, looking at the look in Alerius' eyes she knew he'd likely figured it out but she didn't truly know what was on the older knight's mind despite having known him for many many years, she could only look in wonder as she turned back to the father daughter scene.
Alinia giggles a bit. "I haven't seen soulbane much."She says sadly. "Aymien, comes from time to time, he sleeps a lot and mommy tells me he drinks too much red wine, mark and Rion don't come around much either"She says. "Mommy, says they're not ones to stick around." She nods hugging Maarick. "I've missed you so much." She says happily again. "I hope your brother missed me cause I missed him." She says.

~+~Aura~+~ Aura shook her head stubbornly. "I can control myself!" she argued, almost child like. The flames quickly died away as if to prove her point. She started to walk again though at a slower pace than before. "I've seen worse people than me though Beatrix's eyes. If they can live the with the way they are, so can I. There is nothing wrong with how I am." she snapped back at him. "I don't need anyone to hide behind. Besides do you really want to 'guide'" she shook her head and her pace sped up again. "You have other things to do rather than to stick around with me don't you?" It wouldn't be long before he would get tried of her and forget about her, just as Beatrix had done. She didn't need anyone. "You'd only slow me down anyways." Aura grumbled. Her ears flattened against her head and her fluffy white tail whipped back and forth behind her. In the back of her mind she knew that he was right. If she kept this up then she will die but she didn't care. "Just leave me alone" she said once again. "Even If I did die, what's it to you? You'll forget about me with in a few days. Life moves on and so will everyone else. Let me to things how I want to, while I still can. I don't need a baby sitter. "

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Maarick overheard what Ayna said about it not seeming real, which he agreed. An hour ago, he would of never figured that his daughter would be right here infront of him. He enjoyed it very much so. " Is that so, Soulbane is very nice isn't she. Quite pretty two huh?" He said with a small smirk. "But here's a secret. She sheds no candlelight compared to your mom." He said lightly but loud enough so that Ayna would hear. " Just don't tell your mom I said that." he said in a playful tone then winking at her. He slowly stood up bringing his hand to the top of her head only to rub her head lightly. Taking his had from her head soon after, Maarick nodded at her other question. "Dadrik, I'm sure he missed you alot. He is quite protective of you." He said with a little laugh. " Infact, we are going to go see him, and some other friends. And guess what, Dadrik's actually has a girl friend." He told her in a acting surprised manner. One could tell he was happy to be talking to her, acting as a friend, and a little like a father that has not seen his daughter forever. " Funny huh, someone who can stand his attitude." Maarick chucked a little. " Lilith is with them as well, our sister. " He said giving Alinia one more smile before turning back to Ayna. "You are all strong, and Alinia is growing quite well. Thank you Alerius, you've taught her well. " He said looking to him and giving him a bow of the head. He turned back to Alinia. " So is there anything special you can do, anything you couldn't do from the last time We saw each other?" He asked, more of a curious tone now but still a hit of playfulness in his voice.

Orpheus let out a little bit of a sigh. He knew she was thinking he was right but would not say it straight forward. But instead of confronting her, he just played along. He did not want her knowing the full extent of what he could do, not yet. He did not want to scare her away, nor get her angry. That white flame is quite a nasty attack. He would have to go into his armor for again if he wanted to stand a chance against it. When the flame backed away he smiled. " Yeah, you trying to prove to me that you can control yourself, its a good effort I must say. It just shows your learning." He said his smile and smirk now just an concerned but intrigued look at the same time. " Yes I actually want to be your 'guide'. And quite frankly, you'd be a hard one to forget, ya'know?" He said as his smirk came back alittle. " You did kinda just kick my but..and used my own swo.... which reminds me." He said remembering he left his sword behind, where he forced it into the ground. Underneath the sword a rift opened up and it fell through. Another rift opened up just big enough for the sword to come out till he closed his hand around the handle. He then lifted it up and over placing it under his cloak in a hidden sheath. " As I was saying, You tried using my sword on me..and figured out how to use it quite well. Forgetting you would be a bit hard once again. I don't care weather you do things your way, I just want you to think them through before you do it....so that you can at least stay alive, learn the world and enjoy it. I know you've seen worse then what you are through Beatrix's eyes...But you shouldn't think thats all thats in the world. From what I figure, you've only seen the bad, so there fore you trust nothing. There is better people, better ways to go around doing things without bursting out. Every action has a consequence, even more so now that you are on your own. So if you die, It would bring sorrow to me for knowing you didn't really know what life could really be like...." he told her looking away and down. He spent his life feeling what people did, feeling all the hate, sorrow, happiness and everything in between of those he was around. It influenced the way he thought. Bringing him to understand of how emotions could really be important. How they were needed. Also making him realize how being alone could eventually get to someone, even Aura as strong as she thinks she is. " Just allow me to go with you, just to have your back. I will not prevent you from doing things your way. I just.....have a urge to prove something to you. Sure I have things I could be doing, but none of them are really important as this is to me...and as far as slowing you down. I assure you I won't...you may be able to keep up with my by eye sight and reaction to me...but there is no way you could keep up with me." He said with a bit of a smirk matching her pace.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- When Eveline took Eric's hand, he could feel his heart beating with great intensity. He couldn't speak. It was so... He couldn't really understand the feeling. It was so powerful. And then Eveline spoke. Eric listened, and just when it seemed as though something really important was about to be said, Eveline stopped. Eric didn't understand. Why did she stop? Her face had turned quite red. What was it about? Eric didn't know, and he wasn't going to intrude. Not on Eveline. Anyone else? Sure. But not Eveline. Eric was going to respect her privacy. When Eveline let go of Eric's hand, and stepped back, Eric felt odd. It was weird. He still couldn't describe it. It was like a disappointment. He looked down at the ground, and sighed quietly.
Hearing of a town was somewhat reassuring to Eric. That meant that they would be safer than they were out in the plains. Eric smiled, though it wasn't genuine. So many things were on his mind now. The vision, Eveline, Aura, Omni, the bat man. It was all too much. Eric looked around, and finally rested his eyes on Dadrik. "So, there's a town, but we're supposed to wait for Maarick before we start heading there?" Eric sighed. "What's the sense in that?" Eric shook his head, and beagn to look around again, observing the area.
Finally, it was the bat man that was Eric's focus. "Izual? That's a nice name. Just thought I'd let you know that it's a bad idea to sneak off like that." Eric smiled, and pointed to his eyes. "Not as oblivous as you think." He chuckled, and looked in the direction of the town. "It's probably best if you stay with us. We can give you some sort of protection, unless of course you're the one causing the trouble. There's strength in numbers." Eric gestured to the group as he spoke. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eveline smiled at Izual and nodded in agreement to Eric. "Yes, It's a bad idea...If you were actually thinking about that. There are those monsters out there...If we all stick together we'll be fine." she said with bright smile. "I'm sure your not the one doing all of this. I heard it was some mean old man..or something" she laughed and patted Izual on the shoulder. "My name is Eveline..you may call me Eve, If you wish." she glanced over at Eric and motioned towards him. "Thats Eric" She then motioned to Dadrik, Omni, and Beatrix. "And the one with the furry..." she paused for a moment and laughed softly. She had forgot that there was more than one person with odd ears. "The one with the fox like ears is Beatrix, and the other one with the odd ears is Omni...they are both very nice. Lastly, the man with the white hair is Dadrik."
She looked over at Eric for a moment and let out a soft sigh. She really didn't want to wait. Daylight was burning and the sooner they got there the better for all of them. She was worried what would be out and about during the night. Perhaps....we could walk and have Maarick catch up. The longer that we are here the worse things are..she thought. She was getting tired herself and she was getting hungry. At least I have my money on me...We can get a nice inn room and go get some new clothing..get something to eat..Oh I do miss society...
But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Even in the dark And that's where I want to be
What a shame we all became, xxxxxxxxsuch fragile broken things, A memory remains, xxxJust a tiny spark, xxxxxxxI give it all my oxygen, XXXXXXXXXto let the flames begin, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOh glory...

~+~Beatrix~+~

Beatrix let out a sigh and gave him a small smile. "At least you admit that can go overboard..." she shook her head and glanced down at the wolf for a moment. She did think about their life spans. She wasn't even sure how long she would be around, she was only a little over a hundred. She was still fairly young but how long would that last? "If you really feel that this is all necessary and that this will make you feel more comfortable then I'll put up with it for now."
Dadrik sounded exhausted and it was worrying her. She really didn't want to seem him gone for too long but at least he was going to leave her with a furry companion. She reached over and scratched Kazale behind the ear and smiled down at the wolf. Trix was truly fascinated by the creature. What else could Dadrik do that she didn't know of yet. She knew that He must be very old because of the legends but what other secrets could he be hiding. She wondered if she would ever find out all of his secrets.

Ayna smiles looking at Maarick as she hears what he says looking at Alinia, then she looks over at Alerius who is nodding at Maarick both her and Alerius both knew that he would never let Alinia go without being able to defend herself as She watched the three smiling happily it was nice to have them all together even if it were by a small fluke that had a low chance of working.
Alinia turns though she didn't think her mother or Alerius knew but getting something passed Alerius is hard and by the look the knight now had he already knew once she moved so the two couldn't see as a small wind formed for but a moment before it vanished. "I'm fast too." She says so the two behind wouldn't hear but Alerius is very observant even most think he wasn't paying attention. "Shhhh." She says looking up. "Dadrik has a girl."She paused. "I can't wait."She says happily. "Hes needed someone and nope."She says nope lowly about soul not having anything on her mom.

The future's just around the bend But always changing is the end Petty cash for hopes and dreams Nothing is quite as it seems... Eric Halen Has the future changed? --------------------------- The soft sigh of Eveline really made Eric wonder about what she was about to say. It was starting to bug the man. What was it all about. Eric sighed himself, and looked away. "I say we go now. Maarick is pretty speedy, and could catch up to us quite easily. We have Beatrix, Omni, Kazale, and plenty more capable of holding their own. We are a pretty strong force, I'd say, and we can last a few hours to go to a safer area." Eric smiled. "We can all handle it, I think." With that, Eric pulled out his crystal ball, and gazed into it. "It seems our travels won't be too bad, from the looks of it." He let out a laugh. "I mean, if we choose to go. It's not up to me. That's just how I feel about it." Eric looked around at everyone, waiting on some other opinion. They didn't know that he was completely making up his safety prediction. He couldn't see because of the Da'vions, but they didn't have to know.
With his opinion aside, Eric wondered about how he was going to talk to Eveline. He really thought that whatever she tried to say was important in some way or another. Nothing she said was invaluable in Eric's eyes. And Eric was ready to hear anything she said. He was ready for her to speak her mind. He just needed to tell he that. ...Telling lies to get your way Breaking hearts most everyday Go fill them with that which is fake The fortune teller's pay is at stake

Izual's crimson eyes flitted to the purple-haired man, and studied him closely. Izual tended to stare, and observe quietly. It was usually rare that he'd start speaking first, he needed someone else to say something to him for him to get involved in an actual conversation. What the man said upset him slightly, the way he said it for some reason had made him feel like he hadn't the choice. Of course he appreciated the help these people offered him, and he did like to latch onto groups in order to stay safe. Being none too physically strong himself, he relied on others' help more often than not. With a nod, he frowned and finally spoke.
"Thank you...I do appreciate it...." he said softly, though his eyes showed that he wasn't really paying attention. He had other things on his mind, like the dead horses that were laying back with the carriage. It wasn't often that he ran across such a wonderful feast like that one, and it was all that he could concentrate on for now. He hadn't eaten from them before this, because it had been day and he'd been too dizzy...But, now it was night and they were just sitting there and waiting....What if some other stupid animal got to them fist?!
Izual panicked a bit at the thought..He needed to go get them now, before it was too late! He looked at Eveline as she pat his shoulder, and nodded hurriedly "Alright!!" he said, wishing everyone would just let him go. He didn't care at all about what they were saying, he wanted those horses!! Suddenly, the bat took off running back the way they'd come. He was running at his top speed, his course set for the tipped over carriage and horses.
