Re-hiding his flask, the siren let out a chirp of happiness. Feathers poofing out, clearly showing his pleasure. "You have such pretty purpuls." He leaned on her cooing gently. "Shiny shiny purpuls."

Flopping forward, the siren rolled back in forth in the snow for a bit.
"Can I pitch a tent?" He looked up from his snowy spot. "Besides in mai pants?"

Riley felt a little awkward at how affectionate Israfel had suddenly become, and her hand reached out to pat his head awkwardly. When he lolled away, she rested her head on Jericho's neck, laying languidly against her mount friend.

Yes. To the first. I have no control over the second.

With a shrug, she gave Israfel a little long fingered wave goodnight. She was feeling kind of sleepy, but knew she had to stay awake.. a little longer..

You sleep. I'll stand - bubbles came floating out of her tentacles, interrupting her speech - guard.

Pitching his tent, the siren wiggled his way inside, but not before a tiny toterror tossed a tinier snowball at Riley and Jericho, giggling before hiding away with it's master for the night.

Riley felt a splash of cold on her face, where her mouth would be - and opened her eyes. Cold wetness dripped down off the smooth exterior of her skin, and she reached up to wipe it off.

That's what I get for being the - bubbles floated up from her head - ci.. spider.. cider.. fairy. She murmured to Jericho, who she hadn't realized had fallen asleep underneath her. She also murmured odd things like 'Giddy-Up' and 'You're so warm between my legs', but none of this would be remembered by the sleeping dragon, thankfully.

Riley, however, was NOT about to let her new drowsiness take her. No, she lay on her dragon, stoically remaining awake. She would watch over her fellow train-mates, protect them, and guard them with her LIFE. MAN, THAT SNOW IS REALLY WHITE, she thought. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?

Her thoughts were loud, and sent out to random people. She quieted down after a while, but remained awake the entire night.

"You all right?" His attention had caught Lucien's movements and he looked over at him. He was unnoticed by the trees, which was probably a very good thing, but hearing the low question made him shrug gently as he offered a hand up in he needed one. "Seems the trees wanna play... and I doubt it's in a way that'll be interesting..."

"Hey there! You lost?"
A friendly tree has appeared behind you! It wishes to hug you in painfully happy ways!

((Got permission to re-do this.. yay for being not awake ><)

"I'll agree with you there... today's not a good day. Not in the least..." He was furious over the state of his outfit, since holes and rips were not attractive with this set, but he was trying not to rage. Though he wanted to. "But... least you're in one piece. And in the end, that's important..."

anything else he had been about to say ended when he heard something behind him and he shuddered. Did he have to turn around? Really? But turn around he did and he scowled darkly at seeing that there was a tree behind him. "Lost? No. I'm not lost..." Would rather be lost than deal with a happy, talking tree, but that wasn't said.

Looking at his pack, he figured against using his item so quickly.. it'd be a waste, right? So he'd have to try some other means... though he wasn't entirely sure what to use. But one thing was for certain. That thing needed to get away from him! Seeing that it was trying to hug him, he violently moved back, looking for something to attack it with. Rocks, thicker branches! Anything. Hearing the calls to move into a group, he only shook his head. Best not to get anyone else involved in this. "It's fine. Should catch up once they're dealt with." He didn't have a bell, so he wasn't overly needed to be protected, right? best to take care of the ones that did.

He had heard Lucien shift back to the others; which made him feel a bit relieved. Since the other didn't seem in such a great mood, it was best he stick with the group and not wander off somewhere where he could get hurt. Despite all the rowdiness of the other students going on around him, he tried to focus his thoughts together. Though, it was a bit difficult with those branches swinging at his head so quickly. Since he hadn't been expecting such fast movement, he hissed as it grazed his face just enough to leave damage as he tried to duck under them.

.... His eyes glowed with unholy murder at that. Not that he was that picky about his face but he was already hurting from the train crashing and everything that had happened beforehand. Gritting his teeth, he just decided to not be so defensive and dove into the tree; kicking at all the branches with his heavily booted feet that he could, grabbing and yanking where he couldn't kick. This whole trip was bs and a jack of a lot worse! And all this JOY was making him want to puke! And he didn't know about Amrita or Lizzy and had no way of finding it... in the end, he looked at the bit of a wreck he had made and got away from the tree again. Why was he thinking about them like that for anyway? Other than remembering that he had forgotten to tell Amrita that they next time she was free, they were going to the mall and to discuss the same with Lizzy.

A huge and heavy huff left him as he forced those thoughts out of his head and focused on what was in front of him. Stupid... happy... TREE ><

Iolanthe had taken a small, yet well deserved nap, and soon crawled back out of her tent. The throbbing pain in her head had settled to a dull ache that was manageable by this point. She was just thankful that it had mellowed out enough that the minty smell in the air was no longer making her want to be sick.

She opened the flap of her tent and stretched right down to the tips of her hair, the thick tendrils flaring out as she splayed her arms to work out all the kinks from sleeping on the ground. With a tiny yawn, she folded the tent back up and stuck it in her backpack with the rest of her supplies.

Then she turned to look for her group and.. where in jack's name was everyone? She saw a couple sitting on the ground in the distance a ways, but around her there was nothing. She was just about to get concerned when she remembered the appeal of tents - invisibility. Oh, well, that made perfect sense then.

..now she just had to try not to face plant into one on her way there.

With a sigh, she stuck one hand out in front of her (suddenly realizing that the inside of the tent had been much warmer than this jack damn snow) and made a slow, comical weaving path towards the two students lounging in the snow (were they crazy?). Even if she wasn't particularly fond of the company of.. lesser beings, she found some company to be better than no company in a strange, foreign place. They had to be infinitely better than whatever inhabitants were in this place.

"Is everyone else in tents?" she called out towards them once she thought she was within hearing distance, hoping to get their attention. It was eerily quiet with everyone else asleep.

He was tired... and he hurt. Fighting like this was not an Envy demon's natural skill. Looking at the tree with distaste, he moved just enough away to be able to watch it if need be. Right then, he didn't trust anything going on in this psycho place. Hearing someone get up and move around, he looked over in their direction for a moment; before he realized she was talking to Jericho and Riley and he lost interest. He was tired now.. Grunting with pain as he forced his stiff shoulders to move, he unzipped his pack and rummaged about til he found his tent. Pulling it out, he set it up smoothly; an odd thing considering most demons wouldn't dream of touching anything so tacky. Least, not anyone in HIS family.

What he wouldn't give for a mirror, a wash basin and a change of clothing. Though, perhaps the mirror would be a horrible idea, he still needed to see the damage. But those things had to wait til he got back to the Dorms. Til then, he threw his pack into the tent first so he didn't have to worry about it and then followed after it. A short nap would do wonders for him. And hopefully put in him in a better mood... hopefully.

Braum had been content to stay up half the night, leaning on Israfel's tent and keeping a keen eye out along with Riley, whom he suspected was giddily drunk just from the few swings she'd taken. Rolling his eyes, he had to hand it to the Siren, the birdbrain could be crafty sometimes. He'd let him keep it, though it wasn't the most tactical choice, but he knew Ira would just pitch a fit and be even MORE trouble until he sobered up because of it. Halfway through the night, he'd wrapped his wings tight around him and used his folded up tent as insulation, not bothering to pitch it in case he needed to move quickly, and had taken time to sleep.

After a few hours worth of sleep, his eyes snapped open as dawn crept through the foliage. It wasn't MUCH light granted, but it was enough to put him on alert. Getting up, he stretched his wings wide with a yawn, cringing as he felt the pull of injured muscles. Flexing them, he decided he'd try a fly, just to see how high and how long he could go. Just around the perimieter of the sleeping students in the group, that couldn't be too bad, could it?

Walking away from the Siren's tent, he spread his wings and flapped three times, lifting himself about twelve feet off the ground before his wings started to strain with added cold to his open cuts. Damn. That was all the height he'd be getting if he wanted to be able to travel long distances. Angling his wings to swoop around the perimeter, he found his shoulders aching more than usual, but otherwise not too hindered, until he tried to make a sharp turn around Jericho. He bit down a yelp as his wing that had been pulled on the train before buckled and fell, toppling him face first into the snow. Getting up, he grit his teeth, glaring at the offending wing. So he didn't have much maneuverability either.

His flight would do him little good except in a one on one fight where he could gain SOME height. He could glide at the front of the team, but without being able to go ABOVE the trees, and not being able to quickly maneuver through them and their sharp turns, that would just be a waste of energy and time. Gliding to return to his post, at least the wind, no matter how cold, felt a little comforting. Oh how he wished he could fly high enough to check on the other groups.

Instead, he checked each tent to make sure no trees had stolen anyone in the night, and simply waited, scooping up a handful or two of the WHITE snow, and letting it melt in his mouth. It wouldn't do to let his throat go dry, especially in this cold weather. If he couldn't fly, he wanted to be able to breathe properly and communicate well, losing your voice wasn't very conducive to either of those things.

Riley was currently still laying on Jericho, her eyes wide open, but her mind silent to others, when Iolanthe asked out loud where everyone was. She had been thinking to herself all night. So many thoughts. There was so much to think about. She'd never even realized how many thoughts she could think at once. Why was everything so yellow?

I'M NOT. She practically screamed into Iolanthe's head, lifting one arm and waving it frantically even though the rest of her body lay flopped like a dead fish on the dragon's still-sleeping form. I'm AWAKE. I stood GUARD. PEANUTS.

Oh man, peanuts would be awesome right about now.

Riley perked and pushed herself up quickly when she saw Braum's hasty descent, eyes widening at the fall. Don't die. She warned to Braum helpfully. If you die in the forest, you die in real life.

((1-10 = shift))

As many of the others tented up, Jericho made a rather draconic frown. There was still no way he could fit in his tent like this. So instead, he just sort of curled up a bit to try and relax in the very least. Somehow, in the cold weather, he had managed to fall asleep, so he was blissfully unaware of the 'giddyup horsie!' type comments from the mindflayer.

Around the time that Braum decided to try and fly around, the dragon ended up turning back into his humanoid state with Riley still sitting on him. Stirring from the noise, he opened his eyes, noticing he was considerably lower to the ground.

"Ng?" he groaned while looking around. It was about then that he realized he wasn't in his true form any more. For the time, he wasn't really too aware of anything else going on, having just woken up and such.

"Wait.. wh-when did I..?"

Riley felt movement, but didn't quite understand what was happening underneath her. She was too busy craving peanuts. PEANUTS. Pea.. why was her hand so cold?

She looked down to where her hand was currently pressed against the snow on the floor, and stared at it. Wow.. did her arms just stretch? How was she touching the floor? Did she have superlong arms now? She would be unstoppable.

She lifted her face, which was planted firmly into Jericho's chest, to stare at her arm in wonder. Wait.. it didn't look any longer than usual. What was.. the..

Jericho's chest?

She turned her head and looked up into Jericho's face.

Oh.

GOOD MORNING YOU'RE NOT A DRAGON ANYMORE. She yelled at him helpfully, trying not to move too much. She was pretty sure straddled on top of him in this position was awkward and not-right. And also, she still had no peanuts.

Becoming a little more aware of his surroundings, Jericho stared at Riley, feeling a tad awkward now that he wasn't in his true form here. Before he could say anything he felt her scream into his mind, making him flinch. Oh that was not a very pleasant feeling. He had missed the whole bit of the mindflayer getting a hold of some cider, so he really had no idea what had gotten into her.

"Don't y-yell into my mind please," he grumbled while rubbing his head. The dragon thought of getting up, but that was going to be a little tricky with Riley still sitting there.

Though, one positive thing that came about this was that he was feeling a little warmer like this.

Lucien had been in too much of a bad mood to bother putting up a tent and instead he had just lingered outside of the tents with Braum, Rily and Riley's mount, Jericho. He couldn't help but be a little amused by this fact. Soon though, the amusement factor went sky high as Jericho shifted back into a humanoid shape with Riley still on him. Straddling him.

Laughter could be heard from behind one of the tents. It wasn't hard to guess which tent it was though: Israfel's. Lucien didn't realize consciously that the tent was Israfel's, but somewhere deep down he had picked that tent in an attempt to make sure no tree decided to run off with it and his bird in the process or something. It didn't matter if it had invisibility charms on it. It just couldn't get in, it didn't mean it couldn't run off with it!

Malodore emerged from its tent at last, Luce following; the little pup stretched in the snow, first forwards, then backwards. "Buon giorno," the plague doctor said to the group in general, peering around at the forest suspiciously. "Did anything else attack last night? Are we all in one piece?"

It didn't seem to care about Riley's... compromising position.

Cyrilla had been sitting in her tent for what she assumed was a good few hours. While she did not sleep. the rest had been welcomed, though the random thoughts that the illithid spewed out for the first part of the rest had been... different.

Hearing movement outside her tent, she asserted people must be getting up, so she poked her head out. Sure enough there were a handful of others up and about. Crawling out of the tent, she stretched her arms, then tried once more to go into her actual form.

Still. Nothing. The dracolich cursed under her breath before making her way over to the others, wandering up behind the strange looking, masked figure, and it's pup.

When it spoke, she replied with a quick "Mornin," and looked around as she had to wonder as well if everyone was alright. She hadn't heard any screaming through the night, so she figured everyone was fine.

Unlike Maladore, however, she tilted her head at Riley and Jericho, before stifling a laugh.
